The Effect of Fermentation of Soybeans on the Protein and Mineral Bioavailability in the Rats (대두의 발효가 흰쥐의 단백질 및 무기질의 생체 이용율에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was attempted to investigate the effect of fermentation of soybean on protein and mineral bioavailability. The traditional, oriental fermented soybean foods, Meju and Tempeh, and isolated soybean protein( ISP ) and cooked soybean were prepared and fed to rats as sources of protein. The C-PERs of ISP, cooked soybean, Meju and Tempeh were 1.82, 1.98, 2.11, and 2.36, respectively C-PERs of fermented soybean products, Meju and Tempeh were higher than ISP and cooked soybeans. However, they were not significantly different The percent retention of protein of rats fed with casein, ISP, cooked soybean, Meju and Tempeh were 47.44%, 51.83%, 47.67%, 50.90% and 45.97%, respectively, showing no significant differences among the diets. The rates of calcium retention percent were 62.26%, 59.22%, 61.59%, 55.78% and 67.09 % in rats fed with casein, ISP, cooked soybean, Meju and Tempeh, respectively, demonstrating no significant differences. Rats fed with cooked soybeans did show significantly higher iron retention rate than other samples. However, this study failed to any significant increase in iron availability. The percent of fine retained in rats fed with ISP was significantly lower than those of rats fed with other diets, however, significantly high amounts of zinc were retained in rats fed with Tempeh compared with other diets. The percents of zinc, iron, calcium retained in the bones of rats were not significantly different among the diets.

Effect of Non-Meat Proteins on Storage Characteristics and Amino Acid Composition of Pork Emulsified Sausages

  • This study was conducted to confirm the following effects of non-meat binders (NMB) on proximate composition, pH, cooking yield, amino acids, volatile basic nitrogen (VBN), thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS), and correlation of pork emulsified sausages during refrigerated storage. The following groups of sausage samples were manufactured: Control (non-addition), BBP (1% bovine blood plasma); PBP (1% porcine blood plasma), EWP (1% white egg powder), CPPP (1% commercial porcine plasma powder), ISP (1% isolated soy protein), SP (1% seaweed powder), and SC (1% sodium caseinate). When NMB was added, ISP, SP, and SC showed higher heating yields while PBP showed lower heating yields than the control. As a result of amino acid analysis, PBP, CPPP, and SC showed significantly higher serine content than the control. EWP and SC showed significantly lower TBARS values than the control group, and VBN did not exceed 20 mg% in any treatments until the 5th week. These results demonstrate that SC is a NMB that can lower TBARS value while improving heating yield and serine content.

  • Bacterial specs isolated from common scab lesion on potato (Solanum tuberosum L. c.. Dejima) tuber was identified as Streptomyces turgidiscabies. This organism had flexuous spore chains and grey spore mass color, produced melanin pigment on ISP 7, but did not produce on ISP 6. S. turgidiscabies grew on agar media at pH 4.5, used L-arabinose, D-fructose, D-glucose, D-mannitol, raffinose, rhamnose, sucrose, D-xylose and meso-inositol as carbon sources, and was susceptible to 7% NaCl, thallium acetate (10 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml, 100$\mu\textrm{g}$/ml), crystal violet (0.5 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml), phenol (0.1%, wt/vol), oleandomycin (100 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml), and streptomycin (20 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml).

  • 우리 학회에서는 선진국과의 기술협력 강화, 국제적 입지의 향상, 국내 연구의 활성화 등의 취지로 1994년부터 ISAP 국제학술회의의 국내 유치를 추진하였으며 노력을 경주한 결과 1995년 12월 ISAP 국제운영위원회(ISC:International Steering Committee)로부터 유치 확정 통보를 받았다. 1996년 1월에 본 학회 이사회에서는 ISP'97 국제 학술회의를 학회 창립 50주년 기념행사의 일환으로 치를 것을 결정하였고 1996년 2월 ISAP'96 대회기간중 열린 ISC 회의에서 원래 '97년 8월중으로 예정된 개최일자를 '97년 7월로의 변경을 신청하여 승인하였다. ISP'97 국제학술회의에서는 창립 50주년 기념 국제학술회의로서의 의의를 높이고 많은 회원들의 참여를 유도하기 위하여 대회 주제의 범위를 전력시스템 분야만이 아니고 발전소, 전기기기, 원자력 등을 포함한 일반 전기공학의 모든 분야에 있어서의 지능형시스템 신기술 응용으로 확대하였다.

Identification of Chicken Pork and Beef Meats by Chicken Specific Antibody (계육 특이항체를 이용한 원료육 단백질의 검색)

  • Chicken beef pork meats and isolated soy protein (ISP) were heated at 10$0^{\circ}C$ for 30min and then heat-resistant proteins were fractionated to examine cross-resistant protein from chicken meat but not with beef pork or ISP. Dot blotting using the polyclonal antibody showed that the sen-sitivity for detecting chicken meat was 1$\mu$m and antibody-antigen reaction was dose-dependant. Results of dot blotting analysis to compare the amount of chicken meat present in arket meat products(Kentucky Frank sausage;chicken meat 46.52% and pork 24.92% vs Bulgogi Ham;chicken meat 28.89% and turkey 31.44%)showed that the significant differences between two meat products in terms of chicken meat concentrations. Dose-dependant dot-blotting reaction was also observed in chicken meat samples with various dilution.

  • 본 논문에서는 Core-A를 이용한 실시간 영상 신호 처리 SoC 설계와 검증에 대해 기술한다. 영상 신호 처리를 위한 방식으로 SoC를 사용하였으며 영상 처리를 위한 ISP를 설계하였다. 영상 처리를 위한 마이크로프로세서는 코드밀도를 높이고 Verilog HDL을 사용하여 기술되어 여러 응용분야에서 최적화할 수 있는 국내에서 개발된 Core-A를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 SoC는 Verilog HDL언어로 설계 되었고, 기본 SoC의 구조는 Core-A, AMBA Bus, ISP, Memory controller, Uart로 구성하였다. 구현된 SoC는 다양한 영상 신호 처리를 지원하여 향후 영상압축 인코더의 실시간 이미지 처리용 소스로 사용할 수 있고 신호 처리 알고리즘 검증용에도 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 설계 검증을 위해 먼저 FPGA를 이용하여 검증하였으며 TSMC $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS공정으로 합성한 결과 동작주파수는 50MHz, 전체 게이트 수 86.1k로 확인되었다.

Influence of Dietary Protein Source and Level on Lead Accumulation in Rat (단백질 급원과 수준을 달리한 식이가 흰쥐의 납축적에 미치는 영향)

  • In this experiment forty-eight Sprague Dawley male rats were chosen and used in order to measure the growth rates and to see the effects of lead acumulation in their organs resulting from variously controlled lead protein diet. Protein sources were casein and isolated soyprotein (ISP), and each source was divided into three groups : 7% low protein [LP], 20% standard protein (SP) and 40% high protein (HP) groups. The six experimental groups were given lead acetate(25 mg/kg B.W.) and six control groups were given sodium chloride by oral administration 6 times a week for weeks. The results from this experiment were summeraized as following ; 1) Food consumption, weight gain, organ weight and food efficiency ; Lead acetate administration with protein source had no effects on food consumption, weight gain and organ weight . By their different levels of protein, food consumption of LP group was less the that of SP and HP groups after 3 weeks, weight gain of LP group was less than that of SP and HO groups after 1 weeks. The organ weight in LP group was significantly lower than SP and HP groups except teeth and adrenal s. Effect of lead acetate administration on food efficiency have significantly lower in LP-ISP diet and HP -casein diet than other groups only first week. By their different levels LP group showed significantly lower than SP group until 3 weeks. 2) Hematopoietic effect ; The hematopoieteic effect was not influencec by lead acdtate administration and protein source. But the LP group showed a significantly lowe hematopoietic effect than the SP, HP, groups. 3) Accumulation of lead in the liver, kidney, teeth by protein source showed no significantly differences. Accumulation of lead in blood, heart of LP group, spleen of LP and HP groups. femur of SP and HP groups fed with casein diet groups were significantly higher than fed with ISP diet groups. By their different levels of group showed generally higher than SP and HP groups. But accumulation of lead in teeth of HP group was high also.

  • This study observes the fact that there exist restrictions due to the election-law-based regulations on web campaigns in Korea although web campaigns are widely spreading around the globe, and aims to analyze this aspect from the political context. As a result of the research, first, this study found out that Article 93, Clause 1 of the makes it possible to do permanent web campaigns on the strength of the Constitutional Court's decision of limited unconstitutionality, whereas Article 59 and 254 of the same Law(Election Campaign Offence) differ from the above Article 93, Clause 1; thus, it is necessary to revise the relevant law. Second, as for the request for taking measures for the depletion of ISP, etc., it is necessary to reform the provisions of the and together. These provisions are excessive regulations of the on ISP, also having the possibility of dual punishment. Third, there is also the need to amend Clause 6 of Article 82 (Real Name Confirmation of the Message Board, and chat room of Internet Media) of the from a long term perspective. It is because this Clause also has much room for restrictions of the freedom of expression in the long term despite the Constitutional Court's decision of its constitutionality in July, 2015. Lastly, this study is to reinterpret why it is difficult to revise the from the two sorts of political contexts and to propose the ' Reform Multiple Governance' as the revision method for web campaign revitalization.

Effects of Soy Protein and Calcium on Lipid Metabolism in Rats Fed Unsaturated Fat Diet (불포화 고지방식을 섭취한 흰쥐의 체내지질대사에 대한 대두 단백질과 칼슘의 섭취 효과)

  • This study was performed to observe how soy protein and calcium in rats fed unsaturated fat-enriched diet affect the total lipid and cholesterol contents of blood and tissues male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing approximately 220g were fed four purified diets which contained 18% (w/w) corn oil, 1% (w/w) cholesterol, two sources of protein : casein or isolated soy protein (ISP) and two levels of dietary calcium : 0.1% or 1.0%, first for four weeks (Expt. 1) and second for eight weeks (Expt. 2). The contents of total lipid, cholesterol and triglyceride in blood, liver, heart and feces were determined. After four weeks feeding, the serum lipid and cholesterol concentration was not significantly different among the groups. After eight weeks feeding, these concentrations were significantly lower in ISP-High calcium group. The serum lipid concentration was influenced by dietary protein sources and calcium levels. These results indicated that the hypolipidemic effects of soy protein and high calcium intake were partly due to decrease in lipid absorption and these effects were not detected at 4 weeks feeding but 8 weeks feeding.
