Probability-based Deep Learning Clustering Model for the Collection of IoT Information (IoT 정보 수집을 위한 확률 기반의 딥러닝 클러스터링 모델)

  • Recently, various clustering techniques have been studied to efficiently handle data generated by heterogeneous IoT devices. However, existing clustering techniques are not suitable for mobile IoT devices because they focus on statically dividing networks. This paper proposes a probabilistic deep learning-based dynamic clustering model for collecting and analyzing information on IoT devices using edge networks. The proposed model establishes a subnet by applying the frequency of the attribute values collected probabilistically to deep learning. The established subnets are used to group information extracted from seeds into hierarchical structures and improve the speed and accuracy of dynamic clustering for IoT devices. The performance evaluation results showed that the proposed model had an average 13.8 percent improvement in data processing time compared to the existing model, and the server's overhead was 10.5 percent lower on average than the existing model. The accuracy of extracting IoT information from servers has improved by 8.7% on average from previous models.

  • Interest in 5G communication security has been growing recently amid growing expectations for 5G technology with faster speed and stability than LTE. However, 5G has so far included disparate areas, so it has not yet fully supported the issues of security. This paper proposes a blockchain-based IoT management model in order to efficiently provide the authentication of users using IoT in 5G In order to efficiently fuse the authentication of IoT users with probabilistic theory and physical structure, the proposed model uses two random keys in reverse direction at different layers so that two-way authentication is achieved by the managers of layers and layers. The proposed model applied blockchain between grouped IoT devices by assigning weights to layer information of IoT information after certification of IoT users in 5G environment is stratified on a probabilistic basis. In particular, the proposed model has better functions than the existing blockchain because it divides the IoT network into layered, multi-layered networks.

  • IoT means things space networks that form the intelligent relationship such as sensing, networking, information processing about human being, things and service without explicit mutual cooperation of human being. Lately many IoT groups such as AllSeen Alliance, OIC launched a platform for IoT. Self-adaptive is aimed at implementation without the need for decisions of human being during the operation, so that the machine can respond to changes in its own determination. There is a need to apply the concept of self-adaptive to existing IoT and IoT platform. So In this paper, We look for trends of existing IoT, IoT platform and comparisons by applying a self-adaptive concept to IoT, IoT platform. In addition as an example of this paper, we suggest lacking self-adaptive elements to OIC.

  • The number of IoT devices is explosively increasing due to the development of embedded equipment and computer networks. As a result, cyber threats to IoT are increasing, and currently, malicious codes are being distributed and infected to IoT devices and exploited for DDoS. Currently, IoT devices that are the target of such an attack have various installation environments and have limited resources. In addition, IoT devices have a characteristic that once set up, the owner does not care about management. Because of this, IoT devices are becoming a blind spot for management that is easily infected with malicious codes. Because of these difficulties, the threat of malicious codes always exists in IoT devices, and when they are infected, responses are not properly made. In this paper, we will design an malware detection system for IoT in consideration of the characteristics of the IoT environment and present detection rules suitable for use in the system. Using this system, it will be possible to construct an IoT malware detection system inexpensively and efficiently without changing the structure of IoT devices that are already installed and exposed to cyber threats.

  • IoT기술은 Internet of Thing의 약자로서 국내에서는 사물인터넷 기술로 불리우고 있다. IoT 기술은 실 세계에 존재하는 사물 (Physical Things) 및 사이버 환경에 존재하는 사물(Virtual Things) 들이 인터넷을 통하여 서로 연결되고 이러한 물리공간과 가상공간의 사물들의 연동을 통하여 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 미래 인터넷 인프라 기술이다. 본고에서는 현재 개발완료 또는 개발 중인 국내외 IoT 기술에 대하여 소개하고 각 기술의 특징에 대하여 알아본다. 또한 IoT 기술의 발전을 위하여 IoT 생태계의 중요성을 제시하고 이를 통한 IoT 플랫폼의 발전 방향에 대하여 논의 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 여러 접속 인터페이스를 가진 노드로 구성된 저전력 손실 네트워크 기반의 로컬 Infra IoT 환경에서 로컬 Infra-less IoT 서비스를 제공하기 위한 네트워크 구성 방법을 제안한다. 우선, Infra IoT 네트워크환경의 분석을 통해 문제점을 정의하고 이후 로컬 Infra-less IoT 네트워크 모델을 정의하고 정의된 네트워크 모델에 필요한 네트워크 구성 방법을 제안한다.

Internet of Things Fundamentals, Architectures, Challenges and Solutions: A Survey

  • As the number of people using the Internet increases, a new application known as the Internet of Things (IoT) has been emerged. Internet of Things makes it easier for machines and objects to exchange, compute, and coordinate information autonomously without human interference. It is a tool for attaching intelligence to a variety of contemporary objects in houses, hospitals, buildings, vehicles, and even cities. As a new emerging technology, the focus in current IoT surveys does not shed the light on deep understanding for IoT fundamentals, architectures, challenges, and solutions. For this reason, the objective of this paper is to introduce specifications for IoT definitions, characteristics, functional blocks, and different architectures as a cement for better understanding. Additionally, we present current documented IoT challenges, with the existing available solution for each challenge.

  • IoT 서비스 사업자, IoT 기기 공급업체 또는 산업분야별로 구축한 IoT 서비스가 파편화돼 가는 상황에서 IoT 플랫폼간 상호운용성(Interoperability) 관련 기술 개발의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 서비스 플랫폼간의 상호운용성 및 IoT 디바이스간의 상호운용성을 개선하기 위한 플랫폼간 연동(Interworking) 기술 및 개방형 표준 플랫폼 기술 적용 방안을 제시하였으며 사용 편의를 위한 상황인식(Context-Awareness) 기술 구현안을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 모다정보통신이 개발한 oneM2M 국제표준 기반의 지능형 IoT 플랫폼인 OMNIPASS와 다양한 IoT 플랫폼 간의 상호연동성을 지원하는 IoT Gateway장치로서 Smart Brain을 소개하고 이를 통해 IoT 서비스의 발굴과 다양한 산업 응용 분야의 확산을 도모하고자 한다.

  • The number of security incidents is increasing as the Internet of Things(IoT) is distributed widely. The security incidents of IoT can cause financial damages. Moreover, It can become direct threats to humans. In order to prevent these problems, the security installation for IoT devices is important. This paper describes the definition of IoT devices, security incident case, architecture, and the security threats that can occur when a device is connected to network without security installation.
