IoT is collection of different "things" which are associated with open web. As all the things are connected to the Internet, it offers convenience to end users for accessing the resources from "Any Where, Any Time" throughout the globe. At the same time, open nature of IoT provides a fertile ground to an intruder for launching different security related threats. If we can no apply proper security safeguards to the IoT System, then it will be not useful to society. Authentication, Encryption, Trust Management and Secure Routing are different domains to offer security in IoT system. Among them, Authentication is very much important security service as it validates device identity before granting access to system services/ resources. Existing IoT Authentication algorithms are fail to verify device identity in unambiguous way. They are vulnerable to different security threats such as Key Stolen threat, MITM threat and Location Spoofing threat. So, it is a demand of time to design an efficient and secure Multi-factor IoT algorithm which can offer better security and validate device identity in unambiguous way.
In today's business landscape, collaboration and interoperability are crucial for organizational success and profitability. However, integrating operations across multiple organizations is challenging due to differing roles and policies in Identity and Access Management (IAM). User-centric identity (UCI) adopts a personalized approach to digital identity management, centering on the end-user for authentication and access control. It provides a decentralized system that ensures secure and customized access for each user. UCI aims to address complex security challenges by aligning access privileges with individual user requirements. This research delves into UCI's ability to streamline resource access amidst conflicting IAM roles and protocols across various organizations. The study presents a UCI-based multi-domain access control (MDAC) framework, which encompasses an ontology, a unified method for articulating access roles and policies across domains, and software services melding with UCI infrastructure. The goal is to enhance organizational resource management and decision-making by offering clear guidelines on access roles and policy management across diverse domains, ultimately boosting companies' return on investment.
The use of smart home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices is growing, enabling new interactions and automation in the home. This technology relies heavily on mobile services which leaves it vulnerable to the increasing threat of hacking, identity theft, information leakage, serious infringement of personal privacy, abnormal access, and erroneous operation. Confirming or proving such security breaches have occurred is also currently insufficient. Furthermore, due to the restricted nature of IoT devices, such as their specifications and operating environments, it is difficult to provide the same level of internet security as personal computers. Therefore, to increase the security on smart home IoT devices, attention is needed on (1) preventing hacking and user authority theft; (2) disabling abnormal manipulation; and (3) strengthening audit records for device operation. In response to this, we present a plan to build a cloud security authentication platform which features security authentication management functionality between mobile terminals and IoT devices.
The Sejong City was launched in July 2012 and was initially focused on the relocation of central administrative agencies, but it has been changing from an administrative city to a fourth industrial city since 2019 to a smart city and the implementation of Korea's New Deal in 2020. Identity design needs to be reevaluated accordingly. In particular, the web environment is also calling for an optimized identity design due to rapid changes in information technology such as various wearables and the Internet of Things. As the number of responsive web sites where information and communication technologies can be developed and optimized screens can be viewed increased, identity was intuitively communicated to users and designs were applied to make them more distinct and empathetic to other cities. Prior to the study, we looked at prior studies on the changing times in the web environment and the reactive web, and analyzed the identity design of the reactive web and applied minimalism characteristics step by step. Based on this, we surveyed experts and non-experts on the proposed survey by applying minimalist characteristics (simple, repeatability, and spatiality) of reactive identity and found that it was easily and intuitively recognizable in a small web environment such as mobile. Therefore, we hope that Sejong City's identity will continue to be studied in various ways and efficient management so that identity can be established in accordance with the changes of the times.
As the smartphone and mobile environment develop, the time and space constraints for individual work performance are disappearing. Companies can reduce costs and expand their business quickly through cloud computing. As the use of various cloud expands, the boundaries of users, data, and applications are disappearing. Traditional security approaches based on boundaries (Perimeter) are losing their utility in the cloud environment. This paper describes the limitations of existing network access control (NAC) in a cloud environment and suggests network security technology that complements it. The study explains the SDP and combines SDP(Software Defined Perimeter) to overcome the limitations of NAC, while at the same time explaining its role as a new framework for supporting the cloud environment. The new framework proposed in this paper suggests a software-based network security solution that supports physical and software parts, providing identity-based access control, encrypted segment management, and dynamic policy management, not IP-based.

Until today, the personal information of subjects has been centralized in many companies or institutions. However, in recent days, the paradigm has gradually changed in the direction that subjects control their personal information and persue their self-sovereignty. Globally, individual data sovereignty is strengthened by the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) and the US California Consumer Privacy Act(CCPA). In Korea, a few alliances consist of various companies are creating technology research and service application cases for decentralized ID service model. In this paper, the current decentralized ID service model and its limitations are studied, and a improved decentralized ID service model that can solve them is proposed. The proposed model has a function of securely storing decentralized ID to the third party and a linkage function that can be interoperated even if different decentralized ID services are generated. In addition, a more secure and convenient model by identifying the security threats of the proposed model and deriving the security requirements, is proposed. It is expected that the decentralized ID technology will be applied not only to the proof of people but also to the device ID authentication management of the IoT in the future.
Today, the fashion business environment of the 4.0 generation is changing based on fashion technology combined with advanced digital technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), big data and IoT (Internet of Things). "Digital Transformation" means a fundamental change and innovation in a digital paradigm including corporate strategy, organization, communication, and business model, based on the utilization of digital technology. Thus, this study examines digital transformation strategies through the fashion brand Burberry. The study contents are as follows. First, it examines the theoretical concept of digital transformation and its utilization status. Second, it analyzes the characteristics of Burberry's digital transformation based on its strategies. For the research methodology, a literature review was performed on books and papers, aligning with case studies through websites, social media, and news articles. The result showed that first, Burberry has reset their main target to Millennials who actively use mobile and social media, and continues to communicate with them by utilizing digital strategy in the entire management. Second, Burberry is quickly delivering consistent brand identity to consumers by internally creating and providing social media-friendly content. Third, they have started real-time product sales and services by using IT to enhance access to brands and to lead consumers towards more active participation. In this study, Burberry's case shows that digital transformation can contribute to increased brand value and sales, keeping up with the changes in the digital paradigm. Therefore, the study suggests that digital transformation will serve as an important business strategy for fashion brands in the future.

If the blockchain means storing information in a distributed environment that cannot be forged or altered, it is mentioned that this is similar to what librarians collect, preserve, and share authoritative information. In this way, this study examined blockchain technology as a way to collect and provide reliable information, increase work efficiency inside and outside the library, and strengthen cooperative networks. This study attempted to propose various ways to utilize blockchain technology in book relations based on literature surveys and case studies in other fields. To this end, this study first analyzed the field and cases of blockchain application to confirm the possibility and value of blockchain application in the library field, and proposed 12 ways to utilize it based on this. The utilization model was proposed by dividing it into operation and service sectors. In the operation sector, it is a digital identity-based user record storage and authentication function, transparent management and traceable monitoring function, voting-based personnel and recruitment system, blockchain governance-based network efficiency function, and blockchain-based next-generation device management and information integration function. The service sector includes improved book purchase and sharing efficiency due to simplification of intermediaries, digital content copyright protection and management functions, customized service provision based on customer behavior analysis, blockchain-based online learning platforms, sharing platforms, and P2P-based reliable information sharing platforms.
