This study explored factors affecting consumer's external information search effort on online shopping malls through three approaches(cost-benefit approach, psychological motivation approach, and web-site theory approach) respectively, and designed the integrative model through searching the relationships among them. In this study search motivation are designed to be explained by search benefit and search cost that are explained by factors related to the web site and search efforts are designed to be explained by search benefit, search cost and search motivation. The results from our empirical research showed that search motivation, search benefits and prior knowledge on online shopping malls have a direct effect on consumer external information search effort. On the other hand, it was verified that the search motivation was affected by search benefits and purchase involvement, and the search benefits are directly influenced by purchase involvement, constructive simplicity, search convenience and trust. In addition, purchase involvement, time press, constructive simplicity and search convenience had direct effects on the search cost.
This paper has analyzed the factors and purchasing places affecting the purchasing caned coffee which is classified into low involvement goods. As the result of research, it was discovered that affected factor has arisen out of distribution or recognition other than satisfaction of goods. Consumers who have low satisfaction level switch but this occasion happen at a much lesser rate than expected and on the contrary, even customers who were lesser satisfied expressed that they would buy the same brand again. Although this paper demonstrates the importance of the distribution and recognition factors (publicity), among other marketing mixes, that play a greater role than the product when purchasing the product, it has not taken the effects of promotion into consideration. In the future, the consequences of promotions should be explored and simultaneously look into how each of the factors influence direct sales and weigh how much impact each factor has.
This study were investigated to the factors affecting smart phone applications to avoid display ads. The results of this study are as follows. First, factor analysis, propensity for advertising intrusion was the result of a single factor. Also showed significant effect advertising intrusion ad avoidance tendency. Second, the smartphone motivation for the use of the results of factor analysis, seven factors were, Entertainment, information acquisition, learning/work use, multimedia use, ease of life, time leverage, respectively. Showed low levels of advertising avoidance learning/working synchronous usability and ease high motivation life. Finally a smart phone for involvement that there is no significant difference in advertising intrusion tendency appeared. High involvement group was obtaining information, entertainment, social relationships, and multimedia use, ease of living, time management motivation significantly higher than the low involvement group. The results of this study it is expected that the smartphone application smartphone users to reduce evasion of advertising practitioners to give answers to create display ads advertising.
Purpose: Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is a relatively rare tumor that originates from the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. It is generally known that this tumor easily recurs but can be successfully treated with a wide excision. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate postoperative outcomes and risk factors for recurrence in patients with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans who were treated at a single institution for 20 years. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 35 patients who had underwent surgery between June 1992, and September 2010. The patients were assessed in terms of predilection site and size of the tumor, the incidence according to sex, discrepancy between biopsy results and histopathological diagnosis of the surgical specimen, additional treatment after recurrence, recurrence rate and the time interval to recurrence. Results: In multivariate analysis, the depth and site of the tumor were significant risk factors for tumor recurrence. The recurrence rate was significantly higher in tumors occurring in the upper extremity than those occurring in other regions ($p$=0.0348). In addition, the recurrence rate was significantly higher in tumors with involvement of the fascia and the deeper structures ($p$=0.0324, odds ratio=6, relative risk=1.588). Since dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans has strong invasiveness, its tissue involvement is difficult to evaluate accurately. Conclusion: The results of this study shows that involvement of the fascia and the deeper structures and occurrence in the upper extremity were associated with tumor recurrence. Therefore, clinicians should be aware of these risk factors to achieve better treatment outcomes.

Background: Although ultrasound-guided needle decompression (US-GND) can treat calcific tendinitis of the shoulder effectively, repeat procedures might be required for unresolved symptoms. We evaluated the overall clinical outcomes of US-GND with subacromial steroid injection and the final results and factors predisposing toward repeat procedures. Methods: Ninety-eight patients who underwent US-GND for calcific tendinitis of the supraspinatus/infraspinatus were analyzed between March 2017 and December 2018. The clinical outcomes (pain visual analog scale, functional visual analog scale [FVAS], and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons [ASES] score) and final subjective satisfaction were compared between groups A (single US-GND) and B (repeat US-GND). The factors predisposing toward repeated US-GNDs were analyzed. Results: We found that 59.3% (58/98) of patient ASES scores were ≥80, and 73.5% of patients (72/98) were satisfied with the outcome. Group B (n=14) demonstrated a significantly higher rate of dominant-arm involvement compared to group A (78.6% vs. 48.8%, p=0.046). However, initial calcification size, shape, number, density, subscapularis involvement, lavage, and procedure time did not differ significantly between the groups. Group B showed poorer final FVAS (7 [interquartile range, 6-8] vs. 8 [interquartile range, 7-9], p=0.036) and subjective satisfaction compared to group A (satisfied: 5 [35.7%] vs. 67 [79.8%], p<0.001]. Conclusions: US-GND with subacromial steroid injection is a viable treatment option for calcific tendinitis of the shoulder. Dominant-arm involvement was the only independent factor for repeated US-GND. Final outcome of repeated US-GND for unimproved patients was promising; however, these outcomes were poor compared to those of the patients who improved after the first procedure.
The purposes of this study were to investigate clothing involvement and clothing information source on personality types. Personality types were applied using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). Clothing involvement was measured using 17 questions of 5-point scales. Clothing information source was measured using 16 items of 5-point scales. The data were collected from 275 female using questionnaire. The data analysed with frequence, factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan test. The clothing involvement included three factors: Symbolic Expression, Pleasure and Interest, and Fashionability. The clothing information source included four factors: Printed Media, Radio Media, Professional Media and Store Search. Extroversion-introvertion and thinking-feeling index had significant difference in the dimensions of clothing involvement. Extroversion types were significantly evaluated fashionability more than introvertion types(t=2.008, p<.05). Feeling types were significantly evaluated fashionability more than thinking types (t=2.428, p<.05). Extroversion-introvertion index had significant difference in clothing information source. Extroversion types were significantly used printed media more than Introvertion types.
With the changing consciousness of consumers, there has been an increasing interest in nature-friendly lifestyles and safety of food ingredients. Therefore, the LOHAS image, which has value in social health and sustainability, is expected to be a factor that helps restaurants establish differentiation strategies. This study examined the LOHAS image of restaurants on involvement and willingness to pay. The results were as follows. First, eco-friendly food ingredients and interiors among the LOHAS image factors of restaurants had a significant effect on involvement. Second, the perception of LOHAS in the LOHAS image factors of restaurants had a significant effect on involvement. These results may be due to the lack of a conceptual understanding of LOHAS among restaurant customers, who fail to properly grasp its meaning. Therefore, in order to promote the LOHAS image of restaurants to customers, it is necessary to consider presenting POPs or signs that will enable customers to understand the concept of LOHAS inside the restaurant. Third, consumers' involvement turned out to have a significant effect on their willingness to pay. Thus, it is necessary to imprint the image of a LOHAS restaurant using eco-friendly colors, sculptures, and agricultural products so that customers can perceive food ingredients or interior elements as eco-friendly.
Asian Americans are one of the fastest growing minority groups in the United States. One of the stereotypes associated with Asians is that they are more likely to choose careers in science, medicine, and engineering rather than social science, inclusive of social work, mass communication, or humanities (Leong & Serafica, 1995; Tang et al., 1999). This occupational stereotyping of Asians is not just a myth in that only a few Asians choose social work as a career (Lennon, 2005; NASW, 2006). Few studies exist on Asian Americans who do not choose Asian stereotypical career choices, such as social work. Acknowledging this lack of research, the present study was developed to explore the relationships between factors that may influence Asian Americans who choose social work as their career. Based on Social Cognitive Career Theory (Lent, Brown, & Hackett, 1994), it was hypothesized that acculturation and family immigration status influenced parental involvement, disapproval by significant others as a perceived career barrier among Asian American social workers. A cross-sectional survey design was used in this study. The sample was derived from the members'database of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). A total of 900 were randomly chosen among 1,802 of Asian American social workers in the NASW database, and 370 Asian American social workers participated in this study with 41 percent of a return rate. Quantitative data were collected through standardized measurements: Suinn-Lew Asian Self-Identity Acculturation Scale (Suinn, Rickard-Figueroa, Lew, & Vigil, 1987); Career Barriers Inventory Revised (Swanson, et al., 1996); and eight items from Tang et al.'s (1999) Asian American Career Development Questionnaire. The data were collected through a combined method of an online survey with option of a paper mail-return questionnaire. Results of the study found significant group differences among family immigration status groups on parental involvement, and perceived likelihood and hindrance of disapproval by significant others. The group of the 2nd generation reported the highest scores of parental involvement among the family immigration status groups. Also, Asian American social workers who represented the 3rd and higher generation of immigration reported lowest perceived likelihood and hindrance scores of disapproval by significant others. However, there was no significant multivariate effect of acculturation on parental involvement, and perceived likelihood and hindrance of disapproval by significant others. Implications and limitations of this study, as well as suggestions for future research, are discussed.

In this study, the factors influencing the satisfaction of the online platform musical viewing method were investigated, and the effect of the satisfaction factors on the recommendation intention and rewatching intention of the online platform viewing method for musicals was investigated. In addition, the effect of the survey subjects' degree of involvement to musicals between the satisfaction of the online platform-based musical viewing method and recommendation intention, and rewatching intention was investigated. Satisfaction factors of online platform musicals, which are independent variables, were classified into image quality, convenience, economy, and interactivity, and dependent variables were classified into recommendation intention and rewatching intention of online platform musicals, and moderator variable was set to degree of involvement to musicals, and a total of 20 hypotheses were established. An online survey was conducted on 1,454 audiences who had experience watching musicals through the online platform from August 28 to September 7, 2021, and a total of 1,418 answers were used as valid samples. As a result of the analysis, the factors that make up the satisfaction of online platform musicals appeared in the order of convenience, video quality, economics, and interactivity. It was found that the satisfaction level of watching online platform musicals had a positive effect on the intention to recommend and rewatching online platform musicals in the path of all satisfaction factors. It was found that the moderating effect of the audience's involvement in musicals between online platform musical viewing satisfaction and recommendation intention and rewatching intention had a significant effect only between image quality and recommendation intention. It shows that audiences with high involvement in musicals have intention to recommend only when they are satisfied with the video quality of online platform musicals. Particularly important point is that the convenience factor was found to have the greatest influence on the satisfaction of online platform musical viewing method, but the image quality factor was found to have the greatest influence on the recommendation intention and rewatching intention of online platform musicals.
Despite improved technologies, procedures, and regulations, consumers are still uncertain about purchasing online. The objective of this study is to understand uncertainty factors in online shopping and their relationships with the consumers' intention to purchase. For this objective we derived seller anonymity, lack of product transparency, and lack of process transparency as uncertainty factors from previous researches which may affect consumers' perceived uncertainty on online shopping. Then, a causal model was developed to conceptualize the relationships between these uncertainty factors as antecedent variables and consumer's intention to purchase as consequent variable with perceived uncertainty as an intermediary variable. Purchase involvement was used as a moderating variable on the relationship between perceived uncertainty and the intention to purchase online. The model was tested empirically to find meaningful relationships among these variables. The findings indicate that all antecedent variables affect perceived uncertainty significantly and perceived uncertainty negatively affects consumers' intention to purchase. Moreover, the results of analysis show purchase involvement has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between perceived uncertainty and intention to purchase online.
