시장 환경 변화가 심한 상황에서 정보화로 기대되는 효과가 기업의 성과에 직결되지 않는 한 적극적인 IT 투자는 기대하기 어렵다. 경영자의 IT투자 의사결정을 유도하기 위해서는 IT투자의 사전평가를 통해 그 투자의 타당성을 입증하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문은 IT 투자와 그 투자에서 얻어지는 효과를 사전에 분석하여 투자타당성을 평가할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다. 이 방법론은 IT 소유비용을 체계적으로 분석해서 가시적 인 비용뿐만 아니라 숨겨진 비용도 파악한다. 또한 IT투자로 인한 재무적인 효과와 비재무적인 효과를 화폐가치화 하여 IT ROI를 산출한다. 본 논문은 IT 투자의 객관적인 투자 타당성을 평가하여 IT 투자 의사결정을 지원하고 효율적 인 IT 투자가 이루어질 수 있는 체 계를 제시한다.

Recently, interest in research and development (R&D) investment decisions have increased among Korean domestic enterprises. However, existing R&D investment studies only focused on government R&D investment policies while only a few studies investigated firm level R&D investment. Prior literatures also overlooked the feedback loop between R&D investment and firm performance. Therefore, this paper identifies a system dynamics model for R&D investment decision making in domestic electronics firms. The conceptual model is derived from R&D investment-related theories found in bodies of literature on company performance, enterprise activity, and market maturity. This study investigates the dynamic feedback between R&D activities and sales using the system dynamics model. In other words, the system dynamics model is used to explain the change in the closed feedback circulation structure in R&D investment activities including technology development, production process, and marketing that subsequently result in sales increase and re-investment into R&D from the generated revenues. There are two major results. First, a similar ratio of investment on technology development and production process derives the higher company sales. Second, regardless of market maturity, marketing investment ratio positively affects sales and R&D budget growth. This study provides a system dynamics model to find the optimal ratio for R&D investment and suggests managerial strategic implications on electronic firm R&D investment decision making under market maturity condition.

The lead time for new products is very limited in the current manufacturing processes, therefore the Rapid Prototyping process has been introduced and generally used in the industry. Fused Deposition Manufacturing (FDM) is one of the most common methods in this field. In the FDM process, the patterns are made of Wax of ABS and ABS shows better quality of the patterns. To date, the FDM/ABS patterns are used in investment casting for making silicon moulds to produce was patterns because it is very difficult to dewax FDM/ABS directly. The aim of this paper was to propose a feasibility of using FDM/ABS parts as wax-pattern substitutes in the investment casting process. The effects of casting conditions, such as pre-heat temperature and casting temperature, are provided. Comparisons with the conventional investment casting processes using the wax-patterns under the same prototype are made. Lead-time and saving cost are discussed in using FDM/ABS parts as was-pattern substitutes compared with the products from other rapid prototype systems.

The innovative process of digitalization and creation of innovation from an idea to its commercialization requires certain financial costs, labor and mental efforts. The amount of investment (corporate and public) is the most important imperative to enhance innovation and is traditionally considered as the main "input" indicators of the development of innovation infrastructure, in this case, the financial infrastructure of innovation. At the same time, the modern theory of innovation development assumes a systematic approach to the organization of innovation activity, which provides for the close interaction of several subsystems: human (including intellectual) potential, financial and technological capital, as well as relevant institutions and methods of regulation.. Thus, the main task of the study is to analyze the features of investment support for the process of digitalization of socio-economic systems in the context of strengthening international economic relations. As a result of the study, current trends and prerequisites of investment support for the process of digitalization of socio-economic systems in the context of strengthening international economic relations were revealed.

통신사업자는 기본적으로 투자해서 얻을 수 있는 미래 수익이 크면 투자를 단행한다. 그동안의 통신 시장은 통신사업자가 네트워크 투자를 통해 경쟁우위를 확보하여 가입자와 매출을 증가시켜 수익을 얻는 것이 가능하였다. 그러나 융합과 디지털 전환이라는 거대한 변화 속에 네트워크 투자가 곧 수익으로 이어지는 단순한 구조는 점점 깨지고 있다. 과거에는 네트워크라는 인프라를 보유한 통신사업자 간에만 경쟁이 이루어졌으나, 이제는 경쟁의 축이 다변화되면서 단순히 인프라 고도화만으로는 수익 증가를 담보하기 어려워졌다. 디지털융합 시대의 플랫폼 경제체제에서는 네트워크가 없는 플랫폼 사업자가 경쟁우위를 점하고 수익을 가져가는 구조가 형성되고 있다. 이에 따라 기존 통신사업자의 네트워크 투자유인이 감소할 수밖에 없는 상황이다. 본 논문은 디지털 경제 시대에 통신 네트워크 투자 촉진을 위한 정책 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 사업자의 네트워크 투자에 영향을 미치는 요소와 영향의 방향 등을 분석하고 네트워크 고도화를 위한 합리적 대안을 파악한 후, 전문가 설문 및 다기준의사결정(Analytic Hierarchy Process, AHP; Analytic Network Process, ANP) 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점 및 우선순위를 도출한다. 전문가들을 대상으로 한 AHP/ANP 분석 결과에 따르면 공공의 개입에 대해서는 다소 부정적인 시각을 갖고 있으며 새로운 경쟁의 축을 도입하는 것을 더 지지하고 있다. 다만 국민의 보편적 네트워크 접근권 보장 및 확대를 위해서는 비경제적 지역을 중심으로 공공의 역할 확대를 검토할 필요는 있다.

This paper suggests a valuation framework of investment project using the concept of real options. We show the valuation process of real assets using the risk-neutral pricing. Especially, we focus on the investment lag. Real assets have investment lag in general. The decision time and the payment time are not identical. So the investment lag should be considered when valuing real assets for reality. We provide the valuation process for real assets, including R&D project. The results of this paper can be used for the real assets valuation and strategic decision analysis.

We investigate the optimal consumption and investment decision problem of an agent whose time preference is time-inconsistent. Specifically, for a time-separable utility function, the agent's subjective discount factor is supposed to be changed randomly in the future. We provide closed-form solutions in the presence of income process. The method can be extended into the case with a stochastic income process.

In this paper, the function factors contributing to ITA/EA functions in their organizations, are suggested. Also the reasons to the construction of IT governance system and their effects on the their organizations are discussed and the relationships are verified by empirical model. From the survey, the data of the 227 respondents were collected and regression analysis was performed for validating the research model. ITA/EA functions consist of the IT infrastructure systemization, ITA/EA business process support, IT investment efficiency factors. And the factors of IT resource and performance management, IT process management, IT service management are included to IT governance. The main analysis results described significantly are shows as follows. At first, IT resource and performance management factor is effected by the ITA/EA business process support factor and IT investment efficiency factor. In similarly, IT service management factor is also affected by the factors such as ITA/EA business process support, IT investment efficiency, and IT infrastructure systemization. In additional analysis, IT investment efficiency factor in official sectors, ITA/EA business process support factor in private sectors respectively are described as the significant factors on the IT governance.

In this paper, we stochastically analyze the continuous time surplus process in a risk model which involves a continuous type investment. It is assumed that the investment of the surplus to other business is continuously made at a constant rate, while the surplus process stays over a given sufficient level. We obtain the stationary distribution of the surplus level and/or its moment generating function by forming martingales from the surplus process and applying the optional sampling theorem to the martingales and/or by establishing and solving an integro-differential equation for the distribution function of the surplus level.

Korean IT industry has been given much weight in national R&D management. A negative side of this fact is that Korean economy is likely to become vulnerable to a condition of the export business in certain items of IT industry which has a serious influence on the national economy. A customized investment strategy through the analysis of technology competitiveness and R&D status in each technology of IT field is required in order to rectify the structural vulnerability and pursue a continuous growth. In this research, a strategic direction to set up an efficient investment strategy is presented. In this process, it draws a portfolio analysis with two axes of technology level and technology life cycle. It also derives a priority order of the national investment considering the degree of technological impact, marketability, and adequacy of public support from AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method by a survey of IT experts. A portfolio analysis in the prior stage helps the respondents in AHP become more familiar with the alternatives' characteristics so that their decision making process more corresponds with national R&D strategies.
