Many countries in the North East Asia are competing with each other in order to become a centre of international logistics activities. The competition to become a hub port in Far East region is now fierce. The anticipated investments on improving port facilities and attracting the mega carriers are immense for all the ports in the region and the extent of the effort could cripple the local ports and region's economy given the limited financial resources. It is, however, impossible to avoid the disastrous possibility that the massive investments could be channeled into the port, which will never become a hub port, as no port is ready to currently admit defeat and settle as a small regional port. In an attempt to minimise such disastrous waste of resources, ports need to verify the eligibility of their own. This paper tests a system dynamics model using the Port of Busan to understand and illustrate the principle guideline of investment decision making for ports.

The development and utilization performance of the construction new technology was introduced in 2014 according to the detailed evaluation criteria of the construction project of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. In the case of the construction new technology, the current standard is give 3 points in the "technology development and investment performance" evaluation item. However, construction engineering companies is difficult for to invest the capital required for new technology development. Therefore, in this study, we try to extract the difficult factor that occur in the process of construction new technology development in terms of construction engineering companies. The research results are expected to provide with the support policy guideline for new technology development costs to policy makers.

DSM(Demand Side Management) is reducing the load of energy supply utility through energy conservation and energy load distribution. This kind of program is necessary especially to our country which import above 97% of energy source. But the effectiveness of this kind program is not verified well even though our country is executing the various DSM programs. This study suggests M&V(Monitoring & Verification) guideline for DSM programs which are executing in Korea and shows the results which applied to verification of DSM programs.

The characteristics of preliminary founders has taken a part in deciding the structural elements of Franchise headquarters in the food service industry. Thus this study tries to show how preliminary founders have an impact on structural elements in franchise headquarters through demonstrative research on intention of contracting by characteristics of preliminary members. The result shows that the experience factor of a preliminary owner has significant relationships with the structural elements of headquarters. It was analyzed that the structural elements of franchise headquarters such as expert consulting, training support and use of sales guide influence contract intention. The characteristics of the preliminary founders have a major impact on investment, financing, expert consulting, educational support, and untilization of business guideline. The structural elements have a major impact on contract intention.

Information technology becomes more important to small and medium-sized enterprises. Due to the limit of manpower and capital investment in small and medium sized enterprises, how to successfully implement information systems is very critical issue. Previous research shows that lack of systematic methodology for evaluating and directing informatization is a major obstacle for successful implementaion of information systems. This study developed the methodology for evaluating and directing informatization in small and medium-sized enterprises. Empirical study has been conducted to find out major measurement of evaluation as well as validate the model. Finally the systematic guideline, evaluating information level and directing informatization, has been developed in order to help enterprises successfully implement information systems.

Traditional, complementary, and alternative medicine(CAM) constitutes a major source of health care in developing countries. Its therapies, products and practices are increasing used in industrialized countries, typically by around 50% of the population. However, controls on the provider of CAM services and supply and promotion of complementary medicines are weak in these countries. These trends evoke important public health questions relating to benefits and detriments, safety and quality from medical, financial, and social perspectives. In the western counties, investment in research is increasing, and some guideline is now available for ensuring their quality, efficacy, and safety according to the criteria of evidence-based medicine as legally demanded. National policies and legislation are being developed in many countries and often include partnerships between biomedical and traditional health practitioners. The purposes of the study were to review the policies on CAM, to examine the responses of the government to cope with use of CAM in industrialized countries. Lastly, some implications and recommendation are suggested.

Blockchain and its infrastructure technology have expanded rapidly in the last decade and are in high demand, but there is a lack of comprehensive studies on those platforms. Blockchain is a new technology based on the distributed digital ledger system. Decentralized trust is one of the key factors behind the blockchain-based system. Transparency of such a system is better than a conventional centralized ledger system. By using a blockchain-based transaction system, any business organization can harness key benefits like data integrity, confidentiality, and anonymity without involving any third party in control of the transactions. Since the blockchain is used in numerous applications and the horizon is expanding at an unprecedented pace. So, there is a need for an introducing and reviewing of blockchain platforms. In this paper, we have reported a review on existing contemporary blockchain platforms. In particular, From the existing studies, we have identified eighty blockchain platforms and the majority of them have a lack of technical details. To provide the researchers a comprehensive introducing on blockchain platforms to perform a broad guideline for future research and investment in the blockchain domain.

Recently, the government has actively promoted the introduction of BIM at the national level to improve the efficiency and productivity of the construction industry, and private interest in the application of BIM has also increased. However, despite the large amount of references and information, not much research has been done in quantitative ways to accurately measure the performance of BIM projects. The purpose of this study is to review performance measurement cases using ROI, investment effect analysis, and queue model analysis using domestic and overseas BIM guideline research and to present standard templates that can quantitatively measure BIM performance records according to domestic conditions based on this. Performance measurement trends and cases according to the application of BIM were analyzed, and nine quantification elements were derived from this, and based on this, a performance measurement data collection template at the BIM life cycle stage was prepared. Detailed items and contents were prepared for the nine quantification elements, and the final template consisted of a total of 43 questions, divided into the entire stage (15), the beginning (8), the middle (8), and the latter (12) areas. It is expected that by using the standard template of railway BIM performance records developed in this study, the BIM design stage will be diagnosed and the deficiencies will be supplemented, which will be the basic data for measuring actual quantitative performance in all life cycle performance of future BIM projects.

The Korea-EU FTA has substantially escalated the volumes of South Korea's export and investment in the United Kingdom since its ratification. Coupling with the FTA effect, the ease of doing business in the United Kingdom will increase even more trade and investment by South Korean multinational corporations. In the meantime, the UK Bribery Act 2010 was enforced to end bribery by individuals and business entities which have close connection with the United Kingdom. The punishment of violating the Act is severe than ever because of "unlimited" fine. Without fully understanding the Act and have compliance measures as described in the Guidance issued by the UK Ministry of Justice, South Korean corporations may risk its whole business. Therefore, this paper will analyze the UK Bribery Act in details to provide critical implications for South Korean corporations under the Korea-EU FTA.

The investment on informatization has caused the increase in complexity of IT resources as well as inefficiency of Information system management and redundant investment. Thus, the idea of EA (Enterprise Architecture) was developed in order to manage the IT resources efficiently but the systematical guideline was insufficiently provided in data area.. Because of this, it is necessary to make full use of DRM (Data Reference Model) so we can enhance the sharing and reuse of data between several institutions in public sector by extracting and managing data behind processes. In this study, we recognize the necessity of improvement on data classification which is highly utilized and present the direction for the data classification rethesis.
