  • 본 연구에서는 액체로켓에서 널리 사용되는 냉각시스템이 장치된 실험용 액체로켓 엔진을 설계하고 제작하여 연소실험을 수행한 내용을 다루었다. 연소실험을 통해 측정한 열유속이 계산에 의한 해석결과와 유사하므로 실제로켓엔진의 설계 및 제작에 설계 프로그램을 이용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 연소실험결과 연소압과 혼합비가 추력실에서 발생하는 열유속에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다.

  • The manipulations are the main therapheutic procedure of Chuna. Manipulation is the essential procedure of Chuna theraphy. On the basis of touch parts and motion changes, each elementary manipulation is divided into Stimulating Manipulations (reflexional manipulations) and Mobilizing Manipulations. Objectives: This study were advanced so as to know Chinese Chuna Manipulations especially on Herniated Nucleus Pulposus. Methods We Investigated Chinese medicine paper about Chinese Chuna Manipulations on Herniated Nucleus Pulposus between 1996 and 1999. Results. Chinese Chuna theraphy, Pressing Manipulations and Thrusting-Wrenching Manipulations are mostly used on Herniated Nucleus Pulposus, and Chinese Chuna theraphy carrys out Traction, Injection. Chinese medicine. Acupuncture side by side. Conclusions: Chinese Chuna theraphy uses not only Mobilizing Manipulations, but also Stimulating Manipulations whereas Korean Chuna theraphy chiefly uses Mobilizing Manipulations.

폐장 결절성 병변에 대한 경흉 세침천자 세포학적검사 결과의 분석 (Analysis of Transthoracic Fine Needle Aspiration Cytologic Diagnoses of Pulmonary Nodules)

  • To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of transthoracic fine needle aspiration cytology(TFNAC) in the preoperative diagnosis of pulmonary nodules, a retrospective analysis was carried out on a consecutive series of 200 TFNACs. They included 186 primary malignant tumors, 66 squamous cell carcinomas, 65 adenocarcinomas, 36 small cell carcinomas, 7 large ceil carcinomas, 4 carcinomas, 8 others, 9 metastatic tumors, and 5 benign tumors. On cytohistologic correlation of malignant pulmonary tumors, the procedure had a sensitivity of 97.3% and a specificity of 100%. A 86.6% correct correlation between the cytologic and histologic diagnoses was achieved. Five out of the 7 undifferentiated large cell carcinomas, 10 out of the 65 adenocarcinomas, 2 out of the 36 small cell carcinomas, and 2 out of the 66 squamous cell carcinomas were turned out to be mistyped in cytologic diagnosis. We concluded that TFNAC is a highly sensitive and specific preoperative diagnostic procedure in the investigation of patients with discrete pulmonary nodules in whom the specific ceil type of the malignant neoplasm has important implications in treatment modality and prognosis.

강성계수의 전달을 이용한 정적 감도해석 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Static Sensitivity Analysis Algorithm Using the Transfer of Stiffness Coefficient)

  • To design a structural or a mechanical system with the best performance, the main procedure of a typical design usually consists of repeated modifications of design parameters and the investigation of the system response for each set of these parameters. But this procedure requires much time, effort and experience. Sensitivity analysis can provide systematic information for improving performance of a system. The author has studied on the development of the structural analysis algorithm and suggested recently the transfer stiffness coefficient method(TSCM). This method is very suitable algorithm to a personal computer because the concept of the TSCM is based on the transfer of the nodal stiffness coefficients which are related to force and displacement vectors at each node. In this paper, a new sensitivity analysis algorithm using the concept of the TSCM is formulated for the computation of state variable sensitivity in static problems. The trust of the proposed algorithm is confirmed through the comparison with the computation results using existent sensitivity analysis algorithm and reanalysis for computation models.

모조 러너를 이용한 계기판 사출성형의 게이트 위치 설계 (Design of Gate Location in Injection Molding of a Dashboard Using Dummy Runner)

  • Injection molding is widely used in producing various plastic parts due to its high productivity, and the demand for injection molded products with high precision is increasing. To achieve successful product quality and precision, the design of gating and runner system in injection mold is very important because it influences the melt flow into the cavity. Some deflects, such as weld lines and overpacking, can be effectively controlled with proper selection of gate locations. In the present study, the design of gate locations in injection molding of a dashboard fur automobiles was carried out with CAMP mold, a PC-based simulation system for injection molding. A dummy runner system was developed to simulate a runner system in order to increase the efficiency of the analysis procedure. The numbers and locations of gates were iteratively determined in the present investigation. In this procedure, an acceptable design was obtained in terms of reducing the maximum pressure and clamping force.

  • 횡등방성 암석의 인장강도 특성 해석을 위하여 새로운 이방성 인장파괴함수를 제안하였다. 제안된 함수에서 인장강도는 연약면과 수직한 방향에서 최소가 되며 연약면과 평행한 방향쪽으로 지수함수적으로 증가하면서 최대값에 수렴된다. 제안된 이방성 인장파괴함수는 실험적으로 측정이 가능한 3개의 강도정수로 정의된다. 제안된 함수를 임계면법에 적용하여 연약면의 방향성에 따른 횡등방성 암석의 인장강도 및 파괴면의 방향을 탐색할 수 있는 수치해석적 기법을 제시하였다. 문헌에 보고된 횡등방성 암석의 직접인장시험 결과를 모사함으로써 제안된 방법의 적합성을 검토하였다. 수치해석결과와 직접인장시험 결과는 전반적으로 유사한 결과를 보여주었다.

Worn Wheel/Rail Contact Simulation and Cultivated Shear Stresses

  • Railway system is today the most efficient way for transportation in many cases in several forms of application. Yet, wear phenomenon, profile evolution, fatigue, fracture, derailment are the major worries (financial and safety) in this system which force significant direct and indirect maintenance costs. To improve the cyclic maintenance procedures and the safety issues, it can be very satisfactory to be informed of the state of wheel/rail interaction with mileage. In present paper, an investigation of the behavior of the shear stresses by logged distance is approached, by implementing the field measurement procedure, in order to determine the real conduct of the most important cause of defects in wheel/rail contact, shear stress. The results coming from a simulation procedure indicate that the amounts of shear stresses are still in high-magnitudes when the wheel and rail are completely worn; even though in simulation based on the laboratory measurements of profile evolutions, the stresses become significantly reduced by logged distance.

  • Groundwater flow is primarily influenced by the presence of fractures, functioning as conduits. To block the flow, grouting operation is commonly used. Thereby the fractures are then expected to be sealed, which will add to enhance the shear strength in rock. This far, regarding the assessment of grouting efficiency, however, there's been a considerable uncertainty That is, several geophysical methods of high resolution such as tomography, S-wave logging have produced a significant amount of measurable response caused by grouting, but they can inevitably be used only for the qualitative assessment. Thus, this paper deals with an accurate quantitative assessment about the grouting result. In this, a new strategy is introduced, based mainly on evaluating the opening of fractures. For fracture-opening investigation purposes, borehole Televiewer has already proven to be an excellent logging technique that produces both amplitude image and traveltime image. As well known, the traveltime image can be converted to a high precision 3D caliper log with max. 288 arms, which allows to observe the opening of fractures. To evaluate the fracture opening from the traveltime image, an algorithm of practical use was developed, in which image correction due to the borehole deviation, feature discrimination of wall roughness from fractures, automatic evaluation procedure etc. were considered. Field examples are shown to confirm the efficiency of the suggested method.

치과기공소의 보철 기공물 제작 과정에 사용되는 재료 및 방법에 관한 실태조사 연구 (Descriptive study on the procedure of dental prostheses at the dental laboratory in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the extent to which dental laboratories use proper materials, procedures, devices, and equipments to fabricate crown & bridge, PFM(Porcelain Fused to Metal) crown & bridge, partial denture, complete denture, and other prosteses. 100 laboratories in Seoul were selected for this investigation. Questionnaires were constructed focusing on five topocs:crown & bridge, PFM crown & bridge, partial denture, complete denture, and other prostheses. The results from this survey were as follows : 1. Most dental laboratories used old, inexpensive, and familiar materials rather than newly developed ones. 2. Most of the dental technicians did not stick to the standard procedures of handling materials, but to their own experiences. 3. Newly developed equipments to fabricate dental prostheses were possessed by nearly 30% dental laboratories. 4. About 80% of dental laboratories were using the procedures they had learned in the school : die trimming for accurate crown margin and softening heat treatment after RPD gold casting. But less than 30% of laboratories were shown to follow the boxing procedure to produce master cast and laboratory remounting in the process of complete denture. The findings show that dental laboratory procedures to fabricate dental prostheses are incomplete and inaccurate in some instances. So, further studies are neededs to clarify the causes of some inaccurate procedures, the better and more equipments should be supplied to produce the more accurate dental posthesis, and more efforts at enancing the appropriate use of dental materials and procedures should be made.

디젤입자상물질 여과장치의 배기저감성능 효과 분석 (An Investigation of the Effect of Diesel Particulate Filter for Heavy-duty Diesel Engine on Emission Reduction)

  • Diesel PM can be controlled using Diesel Particulate Filter, which can effectively reduce the level of soot emissions to ambient background levels. In the Heavy Duty Diesel area, the Continuously Regeneration trap has been widely applied in the retrofit market. As the Special act for the improvement of air quality in the capital area, the retrofit program for DPF to used diesel vehicle has progressed favorably and there are currently over 1,000 of these DPF in use in retrofit applications in korea. These DPF comprise a specially formulated Diesel Oxidation Catalyst upstream of a DPF. The $NO_2$ generated by the DOC is used to combust the carbon collected in the DPF at low temperature. To certificate DPF device that is suitable to domestic circumstances, it is necessary to evaluate exactly the DPF devices according to the regulation of DPF certificate test procedure for retrofit(ministry of environment(MOE) announcement NO. 2005-16). To do so the understand of that regulation like the standard of PM reduction rate is needed. In this study the test procedure including test cycle and BPT test condition was examined and also the test result for specific DPF was analyzed. In every test like field test, PM reduction efficiency test and seoul-10 mode test, no defect could be showed.
