The multi-beam side scan sonar system uses the towfish installed sonars, it is an equipment that search images of the bottom surface of the sea in real time. It is a typical equipment that is related to a sea investigation such as a geological survey, seabed communication cable and power line cable placing repair investigation, fish breeding ground investigation, sea purification, relic and mineral investigation, and mine and submarine search. Recently, it is used to sea purification and geological survey that require information of the correct surface of the seabed. Therefore, this research develops multi-beam sensors for a side scan sonar that supply various information with the fast scan speed and correct high resolution that is not a simple underwater investigation equipment.

This study focused on the review of the korean fire investigation system and will provide the means for having the legal investigation right. The most important thing is to give fire department a perfect legal investigation right on fire including police areas(seeking and examining the case at first stage). And it should be stated in criminal law. With the joint effort between Fire department and Police department, we can develop the reformation, enlightening programs for the arsons or fire related criminals. Through this, it systematically have to be good for fire prevention and can be helpful to enhancing professionalism of fire examination.

We present two fatal cases, a 41-year-old male (case 1) and his 8-year-old daughter (case 2), resulting from acute lidocaine poisoning. Lidocaine was quantified by gas chromatography (GC) analysis using nitrogen-phosphorus detection. The lidocaine concentrations of cases 1 and 2 were: liver, 27.7 $\mu$ g/g and 24.9 $\mu$g/g; spleen, 70.1 $\mu$g/g and 29.9 $\mu$g/g; and gastric contents, 23.6 $\mu$g/g and 42.8 $\mu$g/g, respectively.

Fire station is a response agency of disaster management. Its various field experience and materials could build up to database to support fire prevention and fire fighting, but it has not been worked out efficiently. To overcome this inefficiency, National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) has made total improvement in "National Fire Investigation Data Classification System" mainly done by its Fire Investigation and Analysis Team. This study reviews existing fire investigation and data accumulation and analysis process so that it could be used as a basic data for "National Fire Investigation Data Classification System" operation.

Diazepam (DZ) is one of the most frequently prescribed drugs as an antianxiety agent, muscle relaxant, and anticovulsant and sometimes causes intoxication due to accidental overdose, misuse or abuse. Screening or confirmation methods for DZ and NDZ in plasma are very important for clinical and toxicological studies and in forensic cases. GC/MS assay with SPE was developed for the determination of diazepam and its metabolite, nordiazepam in human plasma. Diazepam in plasma was extracted by a rapid and sensitive procedure based on C18 bonded-phase extraction. (omitted)

Colchicine is a drug well known for its use in the therapy of acute attacks of gouty arthritis. Two death caused by oral ingestion of colchicine was reported. Two persons were all women. The one was 34 years old woman and with his boyfriend in a inn and the other was a housewife. The first one was a alcoholic but his boyfriend was afflicted with gout. So her boy friend carried over about 60 tablets of colchicine, 4 tablets of naltrexone and 22 tablets of fluoxetine. After her death there were remained colchicine, 2 tabs, naltraxone 4 tabs and fluoxetine 22 tabs. (omitted)
