라인스캔 카메라 시스템을 이용(利用)한 스크랩 자동선별(自動選別) 연구(硏究) (Automated scrap-sorting research using a line-scan camera system)

  • 본 연구에서는 라인스캔 카메라를 이용한 색도인식 스크랩 선별시스템을 설계 제작하고 제작한 시스템을 이용하여 철스크랩에 혼합되어 있는 Cu 스크랩을 자동으로 분리하는 연구를 수행하였다. 스크랩 자동선별 시스템은 크게 측정부, 이송부 그리고 이젝터로 구분되며 라인스캔 카메라, 광원 및 frame grabber로 구성된 측정부에서 스크랩 표면의 색도를 이메지 프로쎄싱 알고리즘에 의해 인식함으로써. 임의로 지정한 특정한 표면색상의 스크랩만에 에어노즐을 작동케 하여 선별하도록 되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 선별처리의 고속화에 대응하기 위하여 주파수 가변 광원시스템을 제작하여 선별시스템에 적용하였으며, 최적실험조건으로 스크랩 이송속도 25 m/min.에서 철스크랩중에 포함되어 있는 Cu스크랩을 90%이상 인식하여 약 80%의 선별효율을 얻었다.

Study on Optimal Working Conditions for Picking Head of Self-Propelled Pepper Harvester by Factorial Test

  • Purpose: Pepper prices have risen continuously because of a decrease in cultivation area; therefore, mechanical harvesting systems for peppers should be developed to reduce cost, time, and labor during harvest. In this study, a screw type picking head for a self-propelled pepper harvester was developed, and the optimal working conditions were evaluated considering helix types, winding directions of helix, and rotational speeds of the helix. Methods: The screw type was selected for the picking head after analyzing previous studies, and the device consisted of helices and a feed chain mechanism for conveying pepper branches. A double helix and a triple helix were manufactured, and rotational speeds of 200, 300, and 400 rpm were tested. The device was controlled by a variable speed (VS) motor and an inverter. Both the forward and reverse directions were tested for the winding and rotating directions of the helix. An experiment crop (cultivar: Longgreenmat) was cultivated in a plastic greenhouse. The test results were analyzed using the SAS program with ANOVA to examine the relationship between each factor and the performance of the picking head. Results: The results of the double and triple helix tests in the reverse direction showed gross harvest efficiency levels of 60-95%, mechanical damage rates of 8-20%, and net marketable portion rates of 50-80%. The dividing ratio was highest at a rotational speed of 400 rpm. Gross harvest efficiency was influenced by the types of helix and rotational speed. Net marketable portion was influenced by rotational speed but not influenced by the type of helix. Mechanical damage was not influenced by the type of helix or rotational speed. Conclusions: Best gross harvest efficiency was obtained at a rotational speed of 400 rpm; however, operating the device at that speed resulted in vibration, which should be reduced.

교류 전기철도 전력계통의 고조파 예측량 계산 (Estimation of Harmonics on Power System of AC Electric Railway)

  • We estimated harmonics on power system of AC railway based on quantitatively measured harmonics and investigated the need of facilities for harmonics reduction. In order to analysis harmonics which inflow into power system due to increase in collector voltages and harmonic currents generated from the train when the railway is in operation, the railway system Is sectioned into power supply, railway line, AT, sectioning Post and subsectioning post. For analysis of extension of currents resulting from the railway loads, PWM converter, VVVF inverter and the feeder system are modeled based on the dynamic node technique(DNT). In order to test the usefulness of the DNT for analysis of harmonic effects, the measured harmonic currents and harmonic magnification ratios at the S/K substation are compared with simulation results using DNT modelling, which include the results for two cases with and without filters for suppression of harmonic currents. When 8 cars(4M4T) are in operation, the total sum of harmonic currents resulting from the train at M and T phases, which inflow into the substation along with the railway line, is calculated. Using the harmonics analysis program for railway feeder system with these data, the total harmonic distortion factor(710) at the outgoing point of KEPCO substation is computed. The calculation shows that when the maximum THD at the receiving point of H/K substation was 0.0443% which is much lower than 1.5% which is the allowable value of KEPCO at 154kV as well as IEEE-519 above 132kV This result indicates that any measure for harmonics reduction in Incheon International Airport Railway is not needed.

  • Recently, the RF inductive discharge or inductively coupled plasma continues to attract growing attention as an effective plasma source in many industrial applications, the best known of which are plasma processing and lighting technology. To the point of lighting sources, the ring-shaped electrodeless fluorescent lamps utilizing an inductively coupled plasma have been objects of interest and research during the last decades, mainly because of their potential for extremely long life, high lamp efficacies, rapid power switching response. In this paper, maxwell 3D finite element analysis program (Ansoft) was used to obtain electromagnetic properties associated with the coil and nearby structures. The electromagnetic emitting properties were presented by 3D simulation software operated at 250 kHz and some specific conditions. The electromagnetic field in the ferrite core was shown to be high and symmetric. An LS-100 luminance meter and a Darsa-2000 spectrum analyzer were used in the experiment. According to data on the lamp tested using high magnetic field ferrite, the optical and thermal wave fields were shown to be high around the ring-shaped electrodeless fluorescent lamp. The optical or light field was high at the center of the bulb rather than around the ferrite core. The light conditions of the bulb were assumed to be complex, depending on the condition of the filler gas, the volume of the bulb, and the frequency of the inverter. Our results have shown coupling between the gas plasma and the field of the light emitted to be nonlinear.

번호판 인식을 통한 자동 주차관리 시스템의 개선된 UI 설계 (Design of Improved UI of Automatic Parking Management System using License Plate Recognition)

  • 최근 영상 기술과 ICT 기술의 발전으로 인해 다양한 형태의 영상처리 서비스가 가능하게 되고, 이러한 기술을 활용하는 응용 서비스가 다양화 되고 있다. 자동차 번호판 인식은 주차관리 등 차량의 정보를 인지하는 곳에 사용되는데 기존의 시스템들은 주차권 발급이나 불필요한 장비 부착 등 경제적인 단점을 갖고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 OpenCV를 근간으로 한 emguCV를 이용하여 차량의 고유번호인 자동차 번호판 인식을 통한 자동 주차관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 그리고 사용자 프로그램 개발에 가장 최신 기술인 WPF를 이용하여 각 주차 차량의 상세정보와 주차 시간 및 남은 주차 공간 정보 등 전체 주차관리 사항을 화면이동 없이 관리할 수 있도록 개선된 UI를 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 사용된 emguCV는 Intel 기반의 환경에서 최적화된 성능을 나타내었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 0.5초 이내의 번호판 인식 처리 시간과 90% 이상의 인식률이라는 결과를 얻었다. 또한 관리자가 전체 시스템을 간편하고 직관적으로 관리할 수 있게 UI가 개선되었음을 보였다.

설치환경 및 조건에 따른 양면수광형 태양광발전시스템의 기초 특성 연구 (A Preliminary Research of the Bifacial PV System Under Installation Conditions)

  • Nowadays the bifacial PV system market and its applications are increasing rapidly. The performance of the bifacial PV system take advantage of its rear surface irradiance. Also, the ground albedo, PV module tilt and azimuth, PV module installation height, shading effect and module temperature are factors of bifacial PV system performance. This paper investigates how the performance of bifacial PV system is influenced by above factors. First, we analyzed the energy yield depending on PV module installation by simulation. Secondly, we compare energy performance evaluation of monofacial and bifacial module on different weather condition by experiment. Thirdly, we tested the albedo effect and checked operating characteristics using Dupont Tyvek material for the bifacial PV module. Fourthly, we check the shading effect of bifacial PV module on bypass diode operating. Finally, we applied the bifacial PV module in the nearby subway station for the noise reduction barrier using a qualified simulation program. In summary, we confirm that the energy performance superiority of the bifacial PV module has a lot of application use including road. Also, we have confirmed the bifacial module and inverter design should be considered by rear surface irradiance.

축소모델을 통한 고속철도 차량의 진동특성 해석 및 검증 (Analysis of the Vibration Characteristics of a High-Speed Train using a Scale Model)

  • 철도차량의 실차 규모 동특성시험은 설비 구축, 대차의 제작 및 시험 조건의 설정등과 관련하여 비용, 시간 등의 증대로 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 연구에서는 실험실 환경에서 차량 진동문제와 안전성을 평가하기 위한 목적으로 축소모델을 제작하고, 개발된 축소모델이 해당 철도차량의 동특성을 정밀하게 모사하는지를 검증하는 평가방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 축소이론은 Jaschinski 상사기법의 이론을 적용하였으며, 1/10 축소모델을 구축하였다. 본 연구에서는 축소 대차의 상하 진동에 초점을 맞혀 시스템을 제작하였다. 시스템은 구동부, 보기, 대차 등 3개의 하부구조로 구성되었으며, 실제 차량으로 환산 시 400km/hr까지 실험가능 하도록 목표로 하였다. 축소 대차의 설계 및 제작과 함께, 동역학해석 프로그램인 ADAMS/View를 이용하여 고유치 해석을 수행하였다. 전산해석으로 도출된 고유진동수는 실험결과와 비교 분석되었다. 시스템이 가지고 있는 초기 5개의 자유도에 상응한 고유진동수를 비교한 결과, 개발된 상사 이론에 따른 축소모형은 충분한 신뢰성을 확보한 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 축소모델은 대학실험실에서 차량진동모드를 모사하는 용도로 기획되었으나, 추후 자유도의 추가보완을 통해 고속철도 차량의 대차와 보기구조 동특성 해석에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
