A solution of inverse kinematics for manipulator by self organizing neural networks

  • This paper describes trajectory generation of a riobot arm by self-organizing neural networks. These neural networks are based on competitive learning without a teacher and this algorithm which is suitable for problems in which solutions as teaching signal cannot be defined-e.g. inverse dynamics analysis-is adopted to the trajectory generation problem of a robot arm. Utility of unsupervised learning algorithm is confirmed by applying the approximated solution of each joint calculated through learning to an actual robot arm in giving the experiment of tracking for reference trajectory.

  • This paper presents a new algorithm of contingency analysis and countermeasure to alleviate the line overloads for electric power systems. In this algorithm, the inverse matrix of the new Jacobian matrix when a contingency occurs, in fastly calculated using the house-holder's Inverse Matrix Modification Lamma (IMML) with the original factor table. The generation outputs are firstly adjusted to alleviate all line overloads occurred by the contingency without tripping loads. If the generation adjustment is not enough anymore to alleviate line overloads, then the control of bus injection power is recommended to quickly alleviate remaining overloads with minimum amount of load tripping and generation read-justing at the termination busbars of the overload lines. The proposed algorithm has been validated in tests on the 6 busbar test system.

A feature extraction stands every technique concerning structure and aspect point beginning particular tweets. The subdivision in a aspect vector is an integer that has a commitment on ascribing a supposition class to a tweet. The cycle of feature extraction is to eradicate the exact quality to get better the accurateness of the classifications models. In this manuscript we proposed Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method is to secure Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with Naïve Bayes Classifiers. As the classifications process, the work proposed can produce different aspects from wildly valued feature commencing a Twitter dataset.

  • A biped walking robot which is developed as a platform for researching walking algorithm is briefly introduced. The developed walking robot has 6 degrees of freedom per one leg. The origins of the last three axis do not intersect at a point, so the kinematic analysis is cubmersome with the conventional method. In the former version of the robot, Jacobian-based inverse kinematics method is used. However, the Jacobian-based inverse kinematics method has drawbacks for the application in which knee is fully extended such as stair-case walking. The reason far that is the Jacobian becomes ill-conditioned near the singular points and the method is not able to give adequate solutions. So, a method for giving a closed-form inverse kinematics solution is proposed. The proposed method is based on careful consideration of the kinematic structure of the biped walking robot.

  • In this study, the human gait trajectories during normal walking were synthesized using the inverse kinematics and optimization techniques. The synthesis is based on a gait model consisting of a torso and two legs. Each let has three segments: thigh, shank, foot, and has six degrees-of-freedom. In order to synthesize trajectories of this redundant system, the sum of angular displacements of articulating joints was selected as an objective function to be minimized. The proposed algorithm in this study is very useful for the analysis of human gait. For the gait analysis, the trajectories of four points in each leg should be measured. Hpwever, by using the algorithm, measuring the trajectories of two points is sufficient, and thus the experimental set-up can be simplified.

  • The interface heat transfer coefficient was measured for non-isothermal bulk forming of Ti-6Al-4V. FE analysis and experiments were conducted. Equipment consisting of AISI H13 die was instrumented with thermocouples located at sub-surface of the bottom die. Die temperature changes were investigated in related to the process variables such as reduction, lubricant and initial die temperature. The calibration approach based on heat conduction and FE analysis using an inverse algorithm were used to evaluate the interface heat transfer between graphite-lubricated die and glass-coated workpiece. The coefficients determined determined were affected mainly by the contact pressure. The validation of the coefficients was made by the comparison between experimental data and FE analysis results.

  • This paper proposes an easy algorithm for finding tapped-delay-line (TDL) filter coefficients in an adaptive filter algorithm using orthogonal input signals. The proposed algorithm can be used to obtain the coefficients and errors of a TDL filter without using an inverse orthogonalization process for the orthogonal input signals. The form of the proposed algorithm in this paper has the advantages of being easy to use and similar to the familiar recursive least-squares (RLS) algorithm. In order to evaluate the proposed algorithm, system identification simulation of the $11^{th}$-order finite-impulse-response (FIR) filter was performed. It is shown that the convergence characteristics of the learning curve and the tracking ability of the coefficient vectors are similar to those of the conventional RLS analysis. Also, the derived equations and computer simulation results ensure that the proposed algorithm can be used in a similar manner to the Levinson-Durbin algorithm.

  • An inverse boundary analysis of surface radiation in an axisymmetric cylindrical enclosure has been conducted in this study. Net energy exchange method was used to calculate the radiative heat flux on each surface, and a hybrid genetic algorithm was adopted to minimize an objective function, which is expressed by sum of square errors between estimated and measured heat fluxes on the design surface. We have examined the effects of the measurement error as well as the number of measurement points on the estimation accuracy.

  • This paper presents a new self-adjoint material sensitivity formulation for optimal designs and inverse problems in the high frequency domain. The proposed method is based on the continuum approach using the augmented Lagrangian method. Using the self-adjoint formulation, there is no need to solve the adjoint system additionally when the goal function is a function of the S-parameter. In addition, the algorithm is more general than most previous approaches because it is independent of specific analysis methods or gridding techniques, thereby enabling the use of commercial EM simulators and various custom solvers. For verification, the method was applied to the several numerical examples of dielectric material reconstruction problems in the high frequency domain, and the results were compared with those calculated using the conventional method.

유전 알고리즘을 이용한 탄화 재료의 화재 물성치 추정 (Estimation of Fire Dynamics Properties for Charring Material Using a Genetic Algorithm)

  • 화재특성을 보다 현실감 있게 분석하기 위해서는 관련된 화재 역학의 정확한 물성 정보를 필요로 하게 되며, 이러한 화재물성을 획득하는 하나의 방법으로서 역물성 분석이 고려될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 역물성 해석의 한가지 방법으로서 역열전달 해석 등에 많이 응용되고 있는 유전 알고리즘을 이용하였다. 고체 형태의 화재 물질로서 비교적 단순한 반응 특성을 나타내는 탄화물이 외부로부터 열을 받아 열분해되는 과정을 비정상 상태의 일차원문제로 간략화하여 해석하였으며, 이 과정에서 관계되는 반응역학의 물성을 추정하기 위하여 유전 알고리즘을 이용하였다. 이러한 역물성 분석의 입력 자료로서는 주어진 물성값을 이용하여 1차원 비정상 문제의 해석 결과인 탄화물의 열분해 표면 온도와 질량소모율 등이 되며, 이들 입력 자료에 해당하는 8개의 화재 물성치를 추정하여 보았다. 추정된 8개의 물성치 중 최대, 최소 상대오차는 각각 151%(탄화물의 비열), 1.81%(탄화 전 초기재료의 비열)이며, 추정된 8개의 화재 물성치를 입력하여 계산한 표면 온도와 질량소모율의 가상실험값에 대한 평균 상대오차는 각각 0.99773%, 3.087802%로 비교적 정확한 값을 추정한 것으로 나타났다.
