A Study on the Attribute of Seun-Hee Choi′s Dancing Costumes and Its Interrelationship with Modern Costumes (최승희 무용의상의 특성과 현대패션과의 상관성)

  • The purpose of this study is to discover the interrelationship between modern costumes and Seung-Hee Choi's dancing costumes in 1930s. Seung-Hee Choi, who was a dancing pioneer in Korea, introduced the modern dancing costumes for the first time in Korea. The results are as followed ; First, we can find Eroticism in Choi's dancing dress. Choi's dancing costume had used gold thread, silver thread, spangle, see-through and a half-naked body clothing that decorated with beads and cords. It is similar to modern costumes in ubjet mtter, silhouette, design, and so on. Second, the influence of Futurism was in her dancing costumes, that is, it represented asymmetry designs and rectilineal figures. Third, not only beauty but also a Functionalism was expressed in her dancing costumes. Functional beauty was shown through bias cut, pleats, slit, and so on.

  • The emergence of tall buildings in the late $19^{th}$ century was possible by using new materials and separating the role of structures and that of non-structural walls from the traditional load-bearing walls that acted as both. The role of structures is more important in tall buildings than in any other building type due to the "premium for height". Among the walls freed from their structural roles, façades are of conspicuous importance as building identifiers, significant definers of building aesthetics, and environmental mediators. This paper studies dynamic interrelationship between the evolution of tall building structural systems and façade design, beginning from the early tall buildings of skeletal structures with primitive curtainwalls to the recent supertall buildings of various tubular and outrigger structures with more advanced contemporary curtainwalls.

  • Dissimilar material friction welding such as STD11 and SCM440, we are considering of such things as strength and tenacity of welding interface, which consist of friction welding rotation frequency, friction heating pressure, upset forging-pressure, friction heating time, and upset forging-pressure time. From the study, obtaining the interrelationship between welding condition and quality(toughness, tenacity), we can set the best range of welding condition. while performing acoustic emission examination for the nondestructive evaluation, we can deduce the interrelationship among total acoustic emission counts, friction welding variable, and quality during friction welding, which can solve the manufacturing difficulty and enhance the economic value.

  • There are five suggestions on interrelationship between Hew Development and Preservation of the Environment. First, it is necessary to make the Perservation of the Environment the prime object of the national land development instead of the New Development. Second, the planners and the designers of the land (or city) must sufficiently understand the concepts that make friends with environment. Third, a policy planners need to understand the concepts that make friends with environment and the concepts must be involved when the policy is projected. Fourth, the criteria to evaluate the quality of the New Development must be changed from only the beautiful ones to both the beautiful and the ecological ones. finally, it is necessary to decide on the policy of the environment in cooperation with the developer and the preserver in consideration of economic, environment, and development indicators.

  • Having measured physical canstant and dissolution rate of prednisolone powder, and tablets, also particle size, particle number of powder disintegration, hardness, friability of prednisolone tablets and having also compared it's interrelationship. We obtained the results as following. 1) Dissolution rate of prednisolone powder was determinded cube root rule and: the slope $({\alpha})$ was $3.1915{\times}10^{-2}$. 2) The tablet used in this study was fourteen kind of prednisolone tablets, two kinds of which were not conformity with prednisolone dissolution rate test of U.S.P. XVIII, but the rest of them were conformity with the same test (t60% was 4.3minute in average) 3) There was no significant interrelationship between disintegration, hardness, friability and dissolution rate of prednisolone tablet used in this study but we recognized the disintegration time was greatly influenced by the dissolution rate.

  • Interrelationship between. certain physicochemical properties of milled rice was investigated. Grain hardness and milling time were correlated with grain dimension. Equilibrium moisture content of rice upon soaking at room temperature showed a high negative correlation with the amylose content. The contents of protein, fat and ash had no relationship with hardness, milling time and equilibrium moisture content.
