Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the ecological factors influencing school adjustment of adolescents from low-income families. Methods: Secondary data analysis was performed using data of 1,321 low-income adolescents in 123 regions found on the Survey on Service Satisfaction with Community Child Care Center. Results: The results of multi-level analysis identified the factors influencing school adjustment of low-income adolescents as follows: individual-level factors were gender, grade in school, and emotional problem; an interpersonal-level factor was family structure; organizational-level factors were length of time attending center and satisfaction with the service of the center; community-level factors were region and perception of community. Conclusion: The results suggest that low-income adolescents' adjustment to school is influenced not only by individual factors but also by diverse environmental factors. Community factors suggest that more education support systems and leisure facilities for adolescents need to be built in small and medium cities. Strategies to enhance positive perception of community are also needed for this population. Further, it is necessary to develop multi-level interventions to improve the school adjustment of adolescents from vulnerable social groups.
This is a study path analysis for relationship among multicultural perception(MP), cultural competence(CC) and professional self-concept(PSC). The survey was performed on 245 nursing students in one university. Data was collected using structured questionnaire and analysed with PASW 18.0, AMOS 18.0. Model fit indices were in good agreement with recommended level($x^2/df=1.170$, GFI=.992, AGFI=.970, RMSEA=.027, CFI=.995, NFI=.967). Based on path model CC showed a direct effect on PSC while MP, satisfaction in major(SM), and interpersonal relationship(IR) showed a indirect effect. The MP and SM showed a direct effect on CC while IR showed a indirect effect and SM and IR showed a direct effec on MP. The findings indicate the necessity of developing educational programs to enhance nursing student's MP and CC for increasing of PSC.
Background: Conservation of resources theory assumes loss of resources as a cause of job strain. In hospital work, conflicts with supervisors are tested to predict lower resources, that is, supervisory social support, participation possibilities, and appreciation. All three resources are expected to predict, in turn, experienced stress (job strain) and lower job satisfaction, lower affective commitment, and a higher resigned attitude towards the job (job attitudes). Methods: The sample included 1,073 employees from 14 Swiss hospitals (n = 604 nurses, n = 81 physicians, n = 135 medical therapists, and n = 253 technical and administrative staff). Of the total sample, 83.1% were female and 38.9% worked full-time. The median tenure was between 7 years and 10 years. Constructs were assessed by online questionnaires. Structural equation modeling was used to test mediation. Results: Structural equation modeling confirmed the negative association of conflict with supervisors and job resources. Tests of indirect paths to resources as a link between conflicts with supervisors and job attitudes were significant. For nurses, social support, participation and appreciation showed a significant indirect path, while among medical technicians the indirect paths included social support and appreciation, and among physicians only appreciation showed a significant indirect path. In medical therapists no indirect path was significant. Job resources did not mediate the link between conflict with supervisors and stress in any occupational group. Conclusion: Conflicts with supervisors are likely to reduce job resources and in turn to lower job attitudes. Work design in hospitals should, therefore, address interpersonal working conditions and conflict management in leadership development.
The purpose of this study was to examine the causes of bakery employees quitting their jobs at hotels in order to make more efficient use of human resources by increasing personnel management efficiency and reducing the turnover rate, The subjects in this study were employees working for bakeries at top-ranked hotels, and the responses from 266 respondents were selected for analysis. The survey was conducted from July 1 through 20, 2003. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis were performed for data handling. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, concerning salaries, their turnover intention was influenced by whether they were properly paid or gained a sufficient living. Second, as for environmental factors, their turnover intention was affected by performance appraisal and interpersonal trust with colleagues. Third, regarding job-related factors, their turnover intention was impacted by the clarity of their job definition, their degree of job satisfaction and the suitability of their posts. Fourth, the change of job was influenced by the desire for a job in another region, in another company and of another kind. To successfully manage employee turnover at hotel bakeries, employees should be properly paid, and different performance appraisal standards, including a multilateral evaluation system, should be applied according to the nature of the department. furthermore, there should be a clear distinction between sales and other works, and they should be carefully treated to increase job satisfaction.

The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has been promoting the 'Fishing Village Specialization Capacity Enhancement Project' to pursue sustainable development of villages such as income generation by using local tangible and intangible resources led by local residents at the village level since 2013. For the fishing village-Specialization capacity enhancement project, six training sessions (mainly in the village unit) are selected by the public offering method, and the project (income generating business, village development project, etc.) is developed for the selected village residents. It has a process of establishing a village project plan (a preliminary plan for village development or a sixth preliminary industrialization plan) based on the training of experts 5 times, practice or excursion 1 time). In this study, four villages in Gangwon-do fishing villages (two coastal villages and two inland water villages) were surveyed on the perception and satisfaction of fishing village development projects before and after training. The survey analysis was conducted by dividing the analysis of resident capacity and satisfaction into personal, interpersonal, and social dimensions. The survey was conducted by distributing a survey before and after training, and a 1:1 survey was conducted according to the residents' cognitive status. Based on the survey, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and analysis using the corresponding sample t-test showed an increase of 0.02 for Yangyang Mulchi fishing village, 0.11 for Samcheok Jangho fishing village, and 0.36 for Hongcheon River fishing industry, but Yanggu Jinmok fishing industry was -0.29, unlike other regions. As a result of this analysis, it has been empirically proven that provision of training projects through resident participation is a very important factor for the success of the fishing village project. Therefore, rather than fostering local leaders, training and community activities to strengthen personal capacities of residents participating in the project, it is necessary to operate the software business with a focus.

Purpose : Establishing multicultural acceptance is important to provide quality nursing care in various clinical settings and adapt to changing roles in different situations. The purpose of this study was to explore degree of intercultural sensitivity, cultural empathy, and multicultural acceptance, the factors influencing of multicultural acceptance of nursing students and to provide the basic data to increased multicultural acceptance. Methods : The study used a questionnaires that include general characteristics, multicultural acceptance, intercultural sensitivity, cultural empathy for nursing students. This research involved 173 nursing students in G city. The data collected from August 15, 2021 to August 30, 2021. The study was analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. The correlation among intercultural sensitivity, cultural empathy, and multicultural acceptance was analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficients, and it was analyzed using multiple regression to figure out factors influencing multicultural acceptance. Results : The multicultural acceptance score was above the middle level and differed according to the academic grade (F=8.580, p<.001), major satisfaction (F=5.981, p=.003), interpersonal relations significantly (F=6.837, p=.001). Multicultural acceptance was a significant positive correlation with intercultural sensitivity (r=.544, p<.001), cultural empathy (r=.624, p<.001). As a result of regression analysis, it was confirmed that cultural empathy (β=.477, p<.001) and intercultural sensitivity (β=.212, p<.001) were factors that influence nursing students' multicultural acceptance ; this model could explain 40 %. Conclusion : Factors affecting multicultural acceptance of nursing students are cultural empathy and intercultural sensitivity. Nursing students are encouraged to have multicultural acceptance in terms of satisfaction of cultural empathy and intercultural sensitivity. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the various factors affecting multicultural acceptance of nursing students. And it is necessary to development education and program that can enhance multicultural acceptance is required.

As Korean society becomes more matured, more people consider trust valuable, as a social capital. Researchers introduced trust literatures focusing on public policy, sociology than business. In this paper, it is empirically analyzed how Organizational Justice, Shared Values, Organizational Trust, 3 dimensions of social capital explained by Nahapiet & Ghoshall, together with Job Satisfaction and Innovative Behavior, as a proxy of performance at the organizational level. The results of this study are as below. Firstly Organizational Justice, consisted of 4 sub-variables of Distributional Justice, Procedural Justice, Interpersonal Justice and Informational Justice, classified by Colquitt, affects Job Satisfaction positively. Secondly Shared Values, consisted of 2 sub-variables of CEO's Core Value and Organizational Culture, availing Competing Value Model of Cameron & Quinn, affect Job Satisfaction positively. Thirdly Job Satisfaction, consisted of 2 sub-variables of economical satisfaction and self-efficacy, affects Innovative Behavior positively. Lastly Organizational Trust has mediating effect on the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Innovative Behavior. However, while the direct effect of Job Satisfaction on Innovative Behavior shows 69%, the indirect effect of Organizational Trust on Innovative Behavior shows 31%, which may not be ignorable. Furthermore in case of smaller organization with less than 30 members, the indirect effect of Organizational Trust shows 64%, comparing to 36% of direct effect of Job Satisfaction. This study was able to confirm that organizations need to maintain Organizational Trust as much as they strive to increase Job Satisfaction through securing Organizational Justice and Shared Values in order to effectively increase Innovative Behavior. For small organizations with less than 30 members, they can never achieve Innovative Behavior without Organizational Trust. Conclusively it is acknowledged that Organizational Trust is the most important prior condition for innovation and long-term survival of SME ventures.
The number of male dental hygienists has been continuously increasing in dental services. The purpose of this study aimed to identify the relationship between job stress, job satisfaction, and turnover intention in male dental hygienists and to provide basic data to improve their job satisfaction. The study population was 110 Korean male dental hygienists working for dental clinics or hospitals. The data were collected from November 10 to December 7, 2015. After an explanation about the objective of the study, 110 questionnaires were distributed via email, and 97 responses were analyzed using SPSS. Overall averages of job stress, job satisfaction and turnover intention in male dental hygienists were 3.05, 2.92, and 3.47 out of 5, respectively. Some sub-factors of job stress, including interpersonal relationships at the workplace and future prospects of dental clinics, were proven to have statistically significant negative influence on job satisfaction (p<0.001). Regression analysis was performed with job stress and job satisfaction as independent variables and turnover intention as a dependent variable. Results showed that job stress had a positive effect on turnover intention (p<0.01) while job satisfaction had a negative effect on turnover intention (p<0.001). Job satisfaction was revealed to have statistically significant negative influence on turnover intention (p<0.001). Some of sub-factors of job stress, including work environment and future prospects of dental clinics and professional position, had a positive effect on turnover intention (p<0.05). The study showed that higher job stress led to higher turnover intention, and higher job satisfaction led to lower turnover intention. Accordingly, job stress and job satisfaction are critical factors for turnover intention in male dental hygienists.

This study was conducted to identify the influence of clinical practice stress and the stress coping type on the self-leadership of nursing students. The subjects were 122 nursing students in B city and the data were collected from May 6 to May 13, 2015. The data were analyzed by means of the t-test, ANOVA, Scheff's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and Stepwise multiple regression. Significant differences were found in the self-leadership by health status (p<.001), interpersonal relationships (p=.001), satisfaction with nursing major (p<.001) and satisfaction with clinical practice (p=.002). Self-leadership was negatively related to clinical practice stress (p=.028) and positively related to stress coping style (p<.001). The meaningful variables which influenced self-leadership were the health status, stress coping type and satisfaction with nursing major. The total explanatory power was 28.1% and the health status was the most influential factor. Therefore, in order to enhance the self-leadership of nursing students, it is necessary for them to maintain a good health condition and to have an effective stress coping type. In addition, methods are needed to increase the satisfaction of nursing major students.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the temporary librarians' employment status that have been placed in over 80% of the school libraries and deduce the issues of their job status for proposing some solutions to improve their job performance. To achieve the above research purposed in this study, the related literature was reviewed and analyzed and an interview was conducted with the librarians in the Chungbuk province and a survey was distributed in the same province. As a result, first, a high correlation was found between the total satisfaction and the factors as follows; 'working satisfaction', 'employment conditions', 'working environment', 'interpersonal relations' etc. In the difference verification based on the satisfaction in accordance with the employment status, a difference of satisfaction was found between the pre and post analyses of the unlimited contractions. Second, the most overall review of the temporary librarians' job performances in relation to the 'reading and lending performances was conducted, regardless of the librarian certification. Third, the temporary librarians working at the school libraries responded that 'the manpower developer' was the most difficult consideration in relation to their employment statuses. And, asked about the solutions for the improvement of their job conditions, most of the librarians wanted their job security.
