A comparison was made between the effect of subjective stress and that of objective stress on immune function in male medical college students. Interaction between perceived stress, psychopathology and natural killer-cell(NK) activity was assessed during an exam period, non-exam period, and vacation. No significant difference was found in NK activity among these three periods, but scores of perceived stress related to unusual happenings during an exam period and related to interpersonal relationship during vacation were found to have significantly positive correlation with NK activity, respectively. In psychopathology, only scores of anxiety during an exam period had significantly positive correlation with NK activity. These results suggest that immune function is more likely to be affected by subjective stress than objective stress and that subjective stress such as some perceived stress and subclinical level of anxiety may positively affect immune function.

Speech emotion recognition, which aims to classify speaker's emotional states through speech signals, is one of the essential tasks for making Human-machine interaction (HMI) more natural and realistic. Voice expressions are one of the main information channels in interpersonal communication. However, existing speech emotion recognition technology has not achieved satisfactory performances, probably because of the lack of effective emotion-related features. This paper provides a survey on various features used for speech emotional recognition and discusses which features or which combinations of the features are valuable and meaningful for the emotional recognition classification. The main aim of this paper is to discuss and compare various approaches used for feature extraction and to propose a basis for extracting useful features in order to improve SER performance.

The purpose of this paper is to deeply understand the developing of long-term relationship between salesperson and customer through analyzing of various literature. Salespersons are important due to their forefront position in retailing setting. They are called \"relationship manger\" due to their function of controlling service quality. Therefore understanding the salesperson-customer relationship is critical in retail environment. To accomplish the purpose of this paper, at first, the concept of relationship marketing and the domain of relationship marketing is examined. Then long-term relationship is studied through existing study on buyer-seller relationship. Anticipation of future interaction or long-term relationship orientation is generated from antecedent variables through mediating variables. Though previous studies ignored developing status of long-term relationship, developing status must be captured to thoroughly understand interpersonal relationship. Implication for relationship marketing theory and research are discussed related to clothing retail setting.l setting.

This paper reports about possibility of the elder abuse as a third vulnerable population among family violence in Korea. Although the study of against the elderly has not been reported in our society the need for information about the nature of elder abuse is clear with social change. There will be profound changes in our culture which in recent decades has been largerly dominated in our family. This paper will be explained some theoretical perspectives; Social learning theory Symbolic interaction theory, Exchange theory and factors related to the occurrence of elder abuse; 1) personal characteristics of the abuser and the abused 2)interpersonal characteristics of the relationship between the abuser and the elderly person 3) situational factors that increase the likelihood of abuse 4) socio-cultural factors that impinge on the use of violence. According to them the patterns and other predictions of elder abuse will be pointed.

Purpose: This paper is a report of a concept analysis of 'quality of pediatric nursing care', Methods: Rodgers's evolutionary method of concept analysis was used. Data were collected from published literature related to quality of pediatric nursing care. Results: Quality of pediatric nursing care was identified with three dimensions and seven attributes: 1) nurse's character: technical competence, interpersonal competence, 2) nurse's activities: developmentally appropriate care, attentiveness, entertainment, 3) nurse-parent interaction: nurse-parent partnership, emotional support. Antecedents of quality of pediatric nursing care were 'child and parent's expectation about pediatric nursing care', 'previous caring experience of pediatric nurses'. Consequences of quality of pediatric nursing care were 'meet child and parent's needs' and 'better health outcomes.' Conclusion: 'Quality of pediatric nursing care' is a core concept in pediatric nursing practice. Appropriate instruments to operationalize the concept need to be developed.

One way for phatic communication to be linguistically realized involves ritual activities, such as greetings and leave-takings. These conventionalized acts in medical contexts can significantly influence both transactional and interpersonal goals. The analysis in this paper confirms that exchanging rituals such as greeting and leave-taking between doctors and patients is not a simple exchange of conventionalized linguistic symbols. In addition, the use of discursive strategies means that to determine whether an expression is phatic or not, it is necessary to analyze it from the multidimensional perspective. The phaticity is established based on the negotiation between the participants during the interaction. We have found that the interrogative form of greeting like "¿Qué tal?" (How are you?) becomes a versatile resource in the medical context. Thus, professionals need to be attentive to the discourse progress, because the phaticity of the interrogative greetings (illocutionary force) is linked, in the vast majority, with the reaction of the patients. Also, the data confirms that when participants coordinate closings, the exchange of turns lengthens and the intervention of various discursive strategies for phatic communion becomes more prominent.

This paper revisits politeness expressions in English, exploring their linguistic characteristics and the underlying social dynamics they reflect. Grounded in pragmatic theories, politeness is examined as a phenomenon shaped by societal norms, wherein language users navigate the delicate balance between efficiency and maintaining positive social interactions. Through an analysis of various linguistic devices such as modal auxiliary verbs, progressive and past tenses, depersonalization, and the use of hedges, the study elucidates how speakers endeavor to mitigate potential burdens on listeners and foster smoother communication. By understanding and employing these linguistic strategies, English learners can better navigate the nuances of politeness expressions in the English cultural context. This exploration underscores the pivotal role of politeness in interpersonal communication and highlights its significance in facilitating effective interaction among language users.

Under the long-term influence of COVID-19, offline activities were interrupted and online communication became the main way. With the rapid development of Korean Wave and network information technology, there have been many entertainment communication platforms. Fans can communicate with stars and other fans and share information through entertainment and communication platforms. This can improve users' perception of the value of entertainment communication platforms, arouse emotional resonance and have a positive impact on users' platform recommendation intention. In this study, the influence of user interaction, identity and recommendation intention of entertainment communication platforms was investigated by questionnaire. The results are as follows: First, the interaction between fans and content has a positive effect on psychological and behavioral identity. Second, the interaction between fans does not affect their psychological and behavioral identity. Third, the interaction between fans and stars has a positive impact on psychological identity and behavior identity. Fourth, psychological identity and behavioral identity have a positive impact on community members' willingness to recommend. Behavioral identity plays a partial mediating role between psychological identity and recommendation intention. Based on the above analysis results, the present situation, limitations and future research directions of this study are put forward.

Communication skill to maintain personal relationships is a crucial factor in our social life. However, even though a number of people are experiencing difficulty in communication owing to their poor interpersonal interchanges in real life, they are interacting with virtual characters in artificially created virtual space. In order to remedy such a lack of communication among game players, first, they need to search appropriate ways to communicate each other in real life, but not in virtual space, or to create a game space as a new place for interaction among them by utilizing advantages of the game world. To accomplish such an aim, it is necessary to precede the research on what kind of relations or characteristics for game players' interaction to others in the real life and game world. For the reason, in this paper, we investigate interaction patterns of game players in real life and in the virtual space. In order to perform this investigation, an ego-gram, which demonstrates the pattern of the ego states as a field-oriented approach is used as the research method. The result shows that there are differences between patterns in each spaces. so, we apply a factor analysis and analyse the relationship between the transaction pattern of players in two spaces using the ego-gram.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the trends of jjok-bang research based on the perspective of Community-Based Participatory Research and Social Ecological Model and to provide information for future public health interventions, policy designs, and policy implementations. Methods: Studies used in the systematic review are published from 1999 to 2014 and searched using key words such as 'jjok-bang' and 'single room occupancy' using domestic and international electronic databases. However, there were no studies from abroad published during this period. Search in domestic databases such as KCI, KISS, RISS generated 119 studies. In this paper, 20 cases which meet the criteria of the systematic review were included in the final analysis. Results: The contents of research included are the life of jjok-bang inhabitants(9 cases), the demand for welfare services(4 cases) and welfare need(2 cases), mental health(1 cases), and the history of jjok-bang formation(4 cases). Fourteen cases of empirical study were analyzed focusing Community-Based Participatory Research and Social Ecological Model. Some of research was carried out forming a partnership with various community partners and this trend increased since 2008. There are high frequency of intrapersonal level and interpersonal level studies. However, studies looking at the organization, community or policy level were relatively few. Conclusions: Future studies of jjok-bang area should consider the various social determinants which affect the health delivery system, community organization and policies, as well as individual or community level.
