  • 기상이변과 사회구조의 복잡화에 따라 재난의 유형이 다양화되고, 발생 빈도와 피해 규모가 증가함에 따라 정부는 안전관련 법령의 정비, 소방방재청의 신설 등 “국민이 편안한 안전사회”를 건설하기 위해 재난관련 각종 정책, 조직 및 정보시스템을 정비하고 있다. 본 연구는 범국가 차원에서 안전관리 관련 기관간 업무 및 유기적 연계와 정보 공동 활용을 위하여 국가안전관리정보시스템 구축시 이식성과 상호운용성 확보를 위한 기술참조모델과 표준프로파일을 설계한다.

Sharing e-Learning Object Metadata Using ebXML Registries for Semantic Grid Computing

  • To facilitate the processes of e-learning resource description, discovery and reuse, e-learning objects should be appropriately described and classified using standard metadata that need to be published in a registry to reduce duplication of effort and enhance semantic interoperability. This paper describes how standard ebXML registries can be used for semantic grid computing for annotating, storing, discovering and retrieving e-learning object metadata. For semantic annotation of e-learning objects, IEEE Learning Object Metadata (LOM) is adopted as the metadata ontology. In order to support the e-learning metadata ontology in interoperable ebXML registries, a mapping scheme between LOM and ebXML Registry Information Model (RIM) is proposed. The usefulness of sharing e-learning object metadata is demonstrated by prototyping a semantic registry based on the scheme.

  • 지금까지 발표된 상호운용성 측정모델은 점대점(Point-to-Point)으로 단위시스템간 상호운용성을 평가하는 모델부터 네트워크중심(Network-Centric)의 복합시스템(System of Systems)간 상호운용성을 평가하는 모델까지 여러 모델들이 있다. 그중 SCOPE 모델은 네트워크중심의 복합시스템간 상호운용성을 평가하기 위한 모델이고, NCAT은 SCOPE기반의 상호운용성 평가 도구이다. 본 논문은 SCOPE를 기반으로 NCAT의 상호운용성 평가 방법과 다른 상호운용성 평가 방법론을 제시한다. 제시된 방법론은 SCOPE 모델을 기반으로 복합시스템의 상호운용성을 평가 할 때 서비스별 우선순위를 부여하지 않은 기존 방법과 달리 우선순위를 부여한 방법이다.

Deriving the Properties of Object Types for Research Data Relation Model

  • In this study, the properties of the object types required to describe the relationship among research data resources, which may be generated during the life cycle of the research, are derived. The properties of Fedora Commons and DSpace, which are open source software used for resource management, and schema properties published in DataCite were analyzed. Based on relation names of Fedora Commons, nine new relation names were derived. Thirty-eight object type properties consolidating the target properties of the analysis were derived. The result of this study can be used as basic material for crosswalk research studies of object type relation terms to ensure interoperability among the systems.

  • There are some limitations in the analysis and evaluation for area traffic control systems. The area traffic is consist of several intersections interconnected which are very complicated and many traffic strategy are adopted for the control system. This paper features an effective area traffic control system by High Level Architecture(HLA) which is a new developed simulation tool. In this paper, we discuss the design of HLA-based area traffic control simulation. We describe technical motivations for the HLA, the key elements of the architecture and how they are minimum and essential to the goal of reuse and interoperability in simulation arena.

SEDRIS를 이용한 디지털 생산 시뮬레이션과 합성 환경 매핑 (Mapping Digital Manufacturing Simulation to Synthetic Environment using SEDRIS)

  • The goal of a distributed simulation such as battle field simulation is to combine all kinds of simulations in the same synthetic environment and to make people interact at the same time. It is a key issue to share the same synthetic environment among simulations. To support reusability and affordability in the modeling and simulation area, DMSO(Defense Modeling and Simulation Office) of USA developed concepts such as HLA(High Level Architecture) and SEDRIS (Synthetic Environmental Data Representation and Interchange Specification). In the industrial simulation area, the digital manufacturing is the main stream. To reduce cost and to reuse simulation environment, the standardization becomes the focus of digital manufacturing. This study proposes to use SEDRIS to improve interoperability of manufacturing data. The simulation data of DELMIA, which is a leading commercial digital manufacturing solution, is mapped and translated into the SEDRIS transmittal format. Mapping of the manufacturing simulation data and the synthetic environment are implemented and verified through experiments.

Broadcasting System Compliant with MPEG-2/4 IPMPX

  • In this paper, we present an intellectual property management and protection (IPMP) system in a broadcasting environment to provide mechanisms for copyright and contents protection that are compliant with the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 IPMP Extension (IPMPX) specifications. The technology for processing IPMP related information was exploited, and a terminal model has been successfully designed and implemented. In addition, interoperability, which is the main objective of MPEG-2/4 IPMPX, has been addressed in detail. The experimental results show that the implemented system performs the IPMP process well, meeting the requirements of a broadcasting environment.

  • In this paper, we present a practical implementation of the MPEG-21 multimedia framework for broadcasting and communication convergent services. MPEG-21 standard technology was exploited to build a convergent service framework. Using this framework, a service model and several scenarios have been successfully designed and implemented. In addition, interoperability, which is the main objective of a multimedia framework, especially in a convergent environment consisting of heterogeneous networks and various types of devices, has been addressed in detail. The experimental results show that the implemented test bed provides a next-generation multimedia service; that is, universal multimedia access (UMA), meeting the requirements of a broadcasting and communication convergent environment.

  • There are plenty of optimization models for the signal-system of a single intersection and area traffic. Some of those models are adopted for the real traffic signal control system. The simulators for a single crossroad have been developed, so that we could evaluate optimization models and traffic control systems. However, the simulators for the area traffic are still being developed.   • 본 연구에서는 중소기업들이 중견기업으로 성장할 때까지 필요로 하는 경영, 자금, 기술, 마케팅, 물류 등 Total Solution 차원의 중소기업지원시스템 중 마케팅ㆍ유통과 관련 협력상거래(collaborative commerce)라는 개념을 도입하여 오프라인과 온라인이 결합되어 대전ㆍ충남 중소기업간의 협력, 제휴를 지원하고, 나아가 대기업, 학계, 벤처캐피탈들이 참여하여 교류할 수 있는 정보공유와 만남의 장을 제공함으로써, 협력상거래 포탈 사이트를 구축하기 위한 이론적 모형을 제시ㆍ구축하고자 한다. 협력상거래 포탈의 기술적 정의는 중소기업간에 인터넷을 통하여 마케팅ㆍ유통과 관련한 기업핵심정보와 비즈니스 프로세스를 공유함으로써 효율적인 협업 전자상거래를 가능하게 하는 모든 기술적 요소의 집합이라 할 수 있다. 협력상거래 포탈의 협업적 프레임워크 기능 요구사항은 \circled1Integration of product & process information, \circled2Extensibility and flexibility of framework, \circled3Platform independence, \circled4Interdependence and modularity of services, \circled5Interoperability among services, \circled6Accessibility of legacy system(ERP, SCM, CRM) 등이다.
