With skyrocketing number of people who use smartphone, the technology of wireless internet that is mobile-phone, Wi-Fi, Wibro, HSDPA has been developed remarkably. The environment that one can use wireless internet easily and inexpensively anywhere has been made. So, the customer of railway have needs and desire that could use the wireless internet network as travelling in rolling-stock. Although KTX, KTX-II and some subway agency has built-up wireless internet network and serviced it, it's closed infra and inconvenient environment has been criticized. So, we survey the wireless internet network that is serviced at present and the way to build wirelee internet infra to satisfy the needs of customers.

In this research, we proposed a quality evaluation standard model which is suitable for the internet shopping mall based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award model. A 7-Point Likert Scale was used based on the seven categories within the 2008 Malcolm Baldrige Criteria : Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer and Market Focus, Measurement Analysis and Knowledge Management, Workforce Focus, Process Management, and Result. Furthermore, we analysed the validity and causal relationship among the factors within the model. The goal of this research is to find a rational standard to evaluate internet shopping malls nationwide and help the structuring and the operation of these malls. The results may be used not only as a tool to evaluate internet shopping mall sites but also as a guideline to improve the quality of a internet shopping mall site that is under development.

Recent increase in accessibility to the internet makes it easy to use the internet-connected devices. The internet could allow any user can reach and command any device that is connected to the network. But these teleoperation systems using the internet connected device have several problems such as the network time delay, data loss and development cost of an application for the communication with each other. One feasible solution is to use local and external network line for the network time delay, transmission control protocol for data loss and Java language to reduce the development period and cost. In this study, web-based remote control system using Java language is newly proposed and implemented to a pneumatic servo control system to solve the time delay, data loss and development cost. We have conducted several experiments using pneumatic rodless cylinder through the internet and verified that the proposed remote control system was very effective.

This paper presents the development of a knowledge-based control system operating via the Internet. With the synergy provided by the Internet, the central expert controller with its knowledge-base has the potential to serve a multitude of front-end clients located anywhere in the world provided they have Internet access. In this way, the operational span of the knowledge-based control system can be expanded to virtually anyplace within the reach of the Internet. This configuration has positive implications in improving the efficiency of distributed operations, thereby enabling plantwide optimization and costs savings. Datasocket technology is adopted to facilitate a more efficient data exchange between the knowledge-based central server and the front-end clients. A specific application in the remote monitoring and fault diagnosis of machines using the proposed control configuration is presented in the paper.

Internet telephony provides voice communication services with added flexibility for multimedia extension at a lower cost compared to traditional telephone systems. We implemented an internet telephony system as an overlay network without a centralized server, using a distributed hash table (DHT). Compared to the current server-based internet telephony system, our system is fault-tolerant, scalable, and can be flexible extended to various services and advanced to integrated service. To demonstrate the high flexibility of our DHT-based internet telephony system, we made our system cooperate with web servers. Web users can check up others' online stales and establish voice communication sessions to online users at a mouse click. This technology can be applied to more complex services such as multimedia messaging or video conference service.

본 연구는 전자상거래가 활성화 되면서 증가하는 국내외 인터넷을 통한 보험거래에 대한 상황을 분석하여 보고, 인터넷을 통한 보험거래상의 여러 법적 문제점을 규명한 후에 그 해결방안을 함께 제시함으로써 보험에 관한 문제를 연구하는 전문가들에게 정보를 제공하여 이해를 도모하고 보험업계의 발전에 기여하고자 하였다.

We have designed an Internet voting system applicable for worldwide voting which is based on Ohkubo et. al,'s scheme[9] combined with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first trial to serve secure Internet voting system to the world. In our system, voter's privacy is guaranteed by using blind signature and mix-net, and robustness is provided through the threshold encryption scheme. By employing Java technology, we propose a way of typical implementation for internet voting system. Furthermore, PKI permits worldwide key distribution and achieve “one certificate/one vote” policy. Therefore, anyone can participate in the voting if he gets a certificate from Certificate Authority (CA). By the joint work between Korean and Japanese teams, the implementation aims to select MVPs in 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea-Japan$\^$TM/ in easy and friendly manner for any Internet user to participate and enjoy Internet voting.

This study investigated the effects of maternal parenting behaviors and preschooler's emotional regulation on their internet-game addictive inclination. The participants were 129 mothers of 5 and 6 year-old preschoolers and their teachers from two day dare centers and one kindergarten in Seoul and Kyung-gi province. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and hierarchical regressions by SPSS program (12.0 version). The major findings were as follows: (1) Boys showed higher score of internet-game addictive inclination than that of girls. (2) mother's consistent parenting behaviors and preschooler's other-regulation behaviors significantly explained preschooler's internet-game addictive inclination. In conclusion, maternal parenting behaviors and preschooler's emotional regulation have influenced on preschooler's internet-game addictive inclination.

본 논문은 호텔의 웹사이트에 대한 인터넷 사용자들의 평가는 호텔의 등급, 규모, 소유권, 그리고 고객의 유형에 따라서 다를 것이라는 가설을 갖고 연구하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 호텔의 위치와 고객의 유형은 인터넷을 이용한 마케팅에서는 전략적 이점이 점차적으로 약해지고 있으나 호텔의 등급, 규모, 그리고 소유권 구조는 인터넷을 이용한 비즈니스 환경에서도 우위를 점하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 연구를 통하여 알 수 있었던 것은 인터넷으로 하여 도심지 호텔과 지방호텔 간의 차이가 점점 좁혀지고 있으므로 지방 호텔의 마케팅의 기회가 확대될 가능성이 있다는 것이다.

Due to the rapid increase In the Internet traffic volume, ISPs are faced with the definite need of the expansion of server capacity. In order to Provide prompt services for customers and still prevent excessive facility cost, it is critical to determine the optimum level of internet server capacity. The purpose of this Paper is to provide a simple but effective strategy on the expansion of servers capacity according to the increase in internet traffic. We model an internet server as an M/G/m/m queueing system and derive an efficient method to compute the loss probability which, In turn, Is used as a basis to determine proper server capacity. The Process of estimating the traffic parameter values at each server based on log data analysis is also given. All the procedures are numerically demonstrated through the process of analyzing actual log data collected from a game company.
