Today, Internet is an everyone's tool for information searching and communication. Furthermore, with the wireless Internet, we can get connected while moving. The Internet, especially wireless Internet could be an excellent data Link for DGPS because of its interactive two-way communication capability and well-constructed network infra. The user with his own mobile communication device doesn't necessarily get equipped with the other specific data link for DGPS This paper will show that how the Internet based DGPS system could be constructed on the computer network in real time, Its performance is demonstrated by the field experiments. Comparing to the DGPS system with the conventional data Links, Like beacon and FM DARC, the Internet based DGPS could provide us a convenient and cost effect DGPS system.

The Purpose of this study is to Identify and analyze the factors that determine the survival or success of internet-based companies in the start-up phase. The reason why we focus on companies which are in the early stage of development is because internet business is still at its early stage, and statistics indicate that many internet businesses have failed during the start-up phase. Using the model of new product outcomes proposed by Cooper(1979), we have formulated a conceptual model for more successful internet business ventures. On the basis of this model, the relationship between the financial and non-financial performance and various variables in the model is analyzed. For collecting empirical data, a web-based survey questionnaire was designed. A total of 97 usable questionnaires were gathered from internet companies nationwide. The results showed that controllable variables such as the commercial entity and information acquired during the new business process are related to the non-financial performance, while environment variables such as the compatibility of the resource base of the firm with the business, including a few controllable variables, are related to the financial performance. Future research needs to explore more precisely how the success factors are different according to the types of internet businesses and/or the stages of growth of the business.

With rapidly growing of computer and internet technology, Internet-based tote-operation of robotic systems has created new opportunities in resource sharing, long-distance learning, and remote experimentation. In this paper, remote control system of a mobile robot through the internet has been designed. The internet users can access and command a mobile robot in the real time, receiving the robot's sensor data. The overall system has been tested and its usefulness shown through the experimental results.

This study examines the effects of Internet-based English practice on listening and reading. Out of a total of 16 students who took part in pre- and post-tests, 11 who had frequently practiced listening and reading on the Internet showed greater improvement in these skills than the 5 who had practiced less. The findings also suggest that summarization of listening and reading on the Internet was useful as it made students concentrate specifically on the content. This study suggests that English language teachers use a bulletin board to complement the use of Internet sites for listening and reading practice outside of the classroom in an EFL context.

With the expansion of internet usage and the advanced technology for information and communication, the international e-Trade environment gradually migrates from the VAN/EDI to the global Internet-based e-Traed on an ebXML framework. In an effort to provide a Internet-based e-Trade environment with a security and trust, this paper analyzes security components and proposed the SSL and ebXML security technologies in order to assure of the trust and security over Internet-based e-Trade. In addition, this paper presents 3-phase methodology to realize the secure and trustworthy Internet-based e-Trade. In summary, as the first phase, the e-Trade business processes are re-engineered and the digital signature council for mutual recognition is orgainzed. And as the second phase, the Internet-based e-Trade system and the concerned digital signature technology are implemented. Finally as third phase, the PKI mutual recognition agreement is signed by parties concerned and then the Internet-based e-trade business is started. Furthermore, this paper presents the promising Internet-based e-Trade models where the digital signature can be applied.

There are several application have been developed on internet-based speech recognition. Internet-based speech recognition is a distributed application and there were various techniques and methods have been using for that purposed. Currently, client-server paradigm was one of the popular technique that been using for client-server communication in web application. However, there is a new paradigm with the same purpose: mobile agent technology. Mobile agent technology has several advantages working on distributed internet-based system. This paper presents, applying mobile agent technology in internet-based speech recognition which based on client-server processing architecture.

The 4-20mA analog signal used in the various industrial fields to interface sensor in distributed process control has been replaced with relatively simple digital networks, called "fieldbus, and recently by Ethernet. Significant advances in Internet and computer technology have made it possible to develop an Internet based control, monitoring, and operation scheduling system for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems. The seamless integration of data networks with control networks allows access to any control point from anywhere. Field compatible field devices become so-called "smart" devices, capable of executing simple control, diagnostic and maintenance functions and providing bidirectional serial communication to higher level controller. The most important HVAC of BAS has received nationwide attention because of higher portion of more than 40% in building sector energy use and limited resources. This paper presents the Internet-based monitoring and control architecture and development of LonWorks control modules for AHU (air handling units) of HVAC in viewpoint of configuring BAS network. This article addresses issues in architecture section, electronics, embedded processors and software, and internet technologies.

The mobile Internet (M-Internet) service is a form of subscription-based information Systems (IS) services in which usage continuance is essential for the eventual success of the service providers. However, previous research on IS continuance has focused mainly on the technology user aspects despite the fact that the user plays a dual role of being a technology user and service consumer in many IS usage contexts. This study thus aims to examine IS continuance based on the theoretical foundation of dedication-based and constraint-based customer relationship development in the context of M-Internet service. Four customer relationship development factors (satisfaction, perceived value, familiarity, and switching costs) are identified and tested on how they affect continuance intention from a survey conducted on M-Internet service users. Then, the results of this study are discussed along with its limitations and implications.

This paper is concerned with the development of Internet-based robot system controlled on the remote site via the Internet. In order to draw the public attention into this exciting system, we built the simple system by which a robot is moved in response to answer for the given OX quizzes. As the primary research fer Internet-based robot control, this study focuses on the development of user-friendly interface by which a beginner achieves information for a robot on the remote site from the 3D virtual simulator and the real camera image. for the compensation of Internet time delay, position prediction simulator is implemented in the user interface.

Recently, internet-based applications can be found easily in various felds. Internet-based telerobot system becomes one of important applications of internet. Among many important technological issues on the internet-based telerobot, time-delay is inherently critical problem to be solved. Time-delay is classified as micro time-delay and macro time-delay in this paper. Algorithms for compensation of path-error and time-error are proposed for the both types of time-delays using fuzzy logic since fuzzy logic is one of the best tools to represent expert's knowledge. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed algorithms.
