  • Current research on Internet of Things (IoT) has primarily addressed the means to enhancing smart resource allocation, automatic network operation, and secure service provisioning. In particular, providing satisfactory security service in IoT systems is indispensable to its mission critical applications. However, limited resources prevent full security coverage at all times. Therefore, these limited resources must be deployed intelligently by considering differences in priorities of targets that require security coverage. In this study, we have developed a new application of Cognitive Radio (CR) technology for IoT systems and provide an appropriate security solution that will enable IoT to be more affordable and applicable than it is currently. To resolve the security-related resource allocation problem, game theory is a suitable and effective tool. Based on the Blotto game model, we propose a new strategic power allocation scheme to ensure secure CR communications. A simulation shows that our proposed scheme can effectively respond to current system conditions and perform more effectively than other existing schemes in dynamically changeable IoT environments.

  • Due to the prolonged infectious disease of COVID-19 worldwide, there are various security threats due to network attacks on Internet of Things devices that are vulnerable to telecommuting. Initially, users of Internet of Things devices were exploited for vulnerabilities in Remote Desktop Protocol, spear phishing and APT attacks. Since then, the technology of network attacks has gradually evolved, exploiting the simple service discovery protocol of Internet of Things devices, and DRDoS attacks have continued to increase. Existing SSDPs are accessible to unauthorized devices on the network, resulting in problems with information disclosure and amplification attacks on SSDP servers. To compensate for the problem with the authentication procedure of existing SSDPs, we propose a hash-based SSDP that encrypts server-specific information with hash and adds authentication fields to both Notify and M-Search message packets to determine whether an authorized IoT device is present.

  • Recently, several research studies on things abstraction framework have been proposed in order to implement the multi-service Internet of Things (IoT) system, where various IoT services share the thing devices. Distributed things abstraction has an IoT service duplication problem, which aggravates power consumption of mobile devices and network traffic. On the other hand, cloud server-centric things abstraction cannot cover real-time interactions due to long network delay. Fog server-centric things abstraction has limits in insufficient IoT interfaces. In this paper, we propose Smart Fog which is a fog server-centric things abstraction framework to resolve the problems of the existing things abstraction frameworks. Smart Fog consists of software modules to operate the Smart Gateway and three interfaces. Smart Fog is implemented based on IoTivity framework and OIC standard. We construct a smart home prototype on an embedded board Odroid-XU3 using Smart Fog. We evaluate the network performance and energy efficiency of Smart Fog. The experimental results indicate that the Smart Fog shows short network latency, which can perform real-time interaction. The results also show that the proposed framework has reduction in the network traffic of 74% and power consumption of 21% in mobile device, compared to distributed things abstraction.

  • IOT has evolved from the internet for human oriented, therefore our life is more advanced growth smartly. IoT is the network of physical objects or things embedded with electronics, software, sensors and connectivity to enable it to achieve greater value and service by exchanging data with the manufacturer, operator or other connected devices. Until now many researches have been studied for centering keyword for detecting emerging technology of future and scientometric analysis among the papers. This paper propose searching method of emerging technology for the IOT (internet of things) and smart device which are recently interesting area via dynamic analysis for keyword mapping.

  • Recently, Internet of Things (IoT) have become popular for research and development in many areas. IoT makes a new intelligent network between things, between things and persons, and between persons themselves. Social network service technology is in its infancy, but, it has many benefits. Adjacent users in a social network tend to trust each other more than random pairs of users in the network. In this paper, we propose recommendation technique using social network in Internet of Things environment. We study previous researches about information recommendation, IoT, and social IoT. We proposed SIoT_P(Social IoT Prediction) using social relationships and item-based collaborative filtering. Also, we proposed SR(Social Relationship) using four social relationships (Ownership Object Relationship, Co-Location Object Relationship, Social Object Relationship, Parental Object Relationship). We describe a recommendation scenario using our proposed method.

  • The basic idea of IoT(Internet of Things) is interconnection and cooperation with a variety of things in real life such as Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID) tags, sensors, mobile phone, etc, through internet. IoT technologies which applied to these fields consist of sensor network technology and middleware, application. Currently, IoT technology is applied to various fields such as health care, home care, automotive, transportation, construction, agriculture, environment, food, and etc, based on its technologies. This paper focuses on discussion of the IoT development trend in game field. In order to achieve this purpose, first, the IoT technologies for game development based on sensor network technology and middleware, application is mentioned. Second, covers serious game and gamification that is expected to be a growing that is expected to be a growing, by applying IoT technologies to the game field. It can help for game developers by using IoT technologies.

  • The growth of mobile devices in Internet of Things (IoT) leads to a number of remote and controlling system related IoT applications. For instance, home automation controlling system uses client system such web apps on smartphone or web service to access the home server by sending control commands. The home server receives the command, then controls for instance the light system. The web service gateway responsible for handling clients' requests attests an internet latency when an increasing number of end users requests submit toward it. Therefore, this web service gateway fails to detect several commands, slows down predefined actions which should be performed without human intervention. In this paper, we investigate the performance of a web server-side platgorm based event-driven, non-blocking approach called Node.js against traditional thread-based server side approach to handle a large number of client requests simultaneously for remote and controlling system in IoT remote monitoring applications. The Node.JS is 40% faster than the traditional web server side features thread-based approach. The use of Node.js server-side handles a large number of clients' requests, then therefore, reduces delay in performing predefined actions automatically in IoT environment.

  • Product-service systems (PSS), integrating physical products and services, currently play a crucial role in sustainable economies. In addition to the highly competitive global economy, the emergence of new digital paradigms is supporting the shift toward servitization. Although the great potential of such paradigms is recognized by both practice and research, their implications for PSS are not yet clear. In particular, features of Internet of Things (IoT), such as total connectedness and ubiquity of smart sensors and actuators, provide various new opportunities for PSS. This study explores such opportunities by conducting structured literature review and 13 interviews. We organize the findings in two folds: First, we introduce four degrees of IoT involvement in PSS business models and elaborate the opportunities that they create for different types of PSS. Second, we present the key technologies and approaches that IoT provides concerning PSS lifecycle management.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new concept associated with the future Internet, and it has recently become a popular concept to build a dynamic, global network infrastructure. However, the deployment of IoT creates difficulties in satisfying different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and achieving rapid service composition and deployment. In this paper, we propose a new QoS control scheme for IoT systems. The Markov game model is applied in our proposed scheme to effectively allocate IoT resources while maximizing system performance. The results of our study are validated by running a simulation to prove that the proposed scheme can promptly evaluate current IoT situations and select the best action. Thus, our scheme approximates the optimum system performance.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) environment must be able to meet the needs of users by providing access to various services that can be used to develop diverse user applications. However, QoS issues arise due to the characteristics of the IoT environment, such as numerous heterogeneous devices and potential resource constraints. In this paper, we propose a QoS prediction method that reflects trust between users in SOA based IoT. In order to increase the accuracy of QoS prediction, we analyze the trust and distrust relations between users and identify similarities among users and predict QoS based on them. The centrality is calculated to enhance trust relationships. Experimental results show that QoS prediction can be improved.
