Motivations for Internet Pornography Search and Perception on Cybersex: Focusing on Gender and Internet Pornography Use (대학생들의 인터넷 포르노그래피 탐색이유와 사이버섹스에 대한 인식: 성별과 인터넷 포르노그래피 이용량을 중심으로)

  • This study investigated the motivations for internet pornography search and perception on cybersex focusing on the role of gender difference and previous internet pornography use with 203 college students. The motivations included sexual relationships, masturbation, and sexual curiosity factors. Males searched for sexual relationships and masturbation, but females searched for satisfying sexual curiosity. The perception on cybersex included 2 factors-alternative sex and real sex. For males and females, no differences were found in the perceptions of engaging in sexual behavior exchanging sexual messages online similarly. The implications of the research were discussed in terms of sexual health.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristic of mobile commerce based on mobile internet and diagnose obstacles and suggest promotional plans in terms of for mobile commerce. First of all, this study defines the concept of mobile internet and mobile commerce as on, and then analyzes the characteristic and the status quo of mobile commerce in the aspect of technology and business and customer. In conclusion this study there are many problems to overcome to expand mobile commerce environment. However, the environment of internet is moving from online to wireless and the volume of e-commerce through internet is growing rapidly. Thus, mobile commerce will be a matter of course in information society.

  • Multi-homing mobile router separates network for user connection and network for internet access using various interfaces for internet access. This paper proposes a load balancing metric in order that multi-network mobile router distributes its traffic to one of several heterogeneous network interfaces. To evaluate the performance of the load balancing metric, experiments on traffic balancing is performed on real commercial networks were used in Korea and Hong Kong.

Simulation for the Propagation Pattern Analysis of Code Red Worm (Code Red 웜 전파 패턴 분석을 위한 시뮬레이션)

  • It was well known that how much seriously the Internet worm such as the Code Red had an effect on our daily activities. Recently the rapid growth of the Internet speed will produce more swift damage us in a short term period. In order to defend against future worm, we need to understand the propagation pattern during the lifetime of worms. In this paper, we analyze the propagation pattern of the Code Red worm by a computer simulation. In particular, we show that an existing simulation result about the number of infectious hosts does not match the observed data, and then we introduce a factor of revised human countermeasures into the simulation. We also show the simulation results presenting the importance of patching and pre-patching of the Internet worm.

The Effects of Interactivity on Consumer's Repurchase Intention in Internet Shopping Mall According to Fashion Involvement and Internet Familiarity (패션관여와 인터넷 친숙도에 따라 인터넷 쇼핑몰과의 상호작용성이 재구매 의도에 미치는 인과모형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interactivity on consumer's affective commitment, trust, and repurchase intention according to fashion involvement and internet familiarity. The survey was limited to the respondents over 20 years old males and females living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping mall. The questionnaire was collected from February 1, 2012 to February 12, 2012 and 562 useful data were analyzed using Amos 19. The results of this study were as follows: After respondents were divided into four groups including the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the high fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the path model was verified according to each group. All the paths except 'affective commitment ${\rightarrow}$ repurchase intention' were accepted for the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group. Comparing the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group with the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, contents-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in high internet familiarity group while people-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in low internet familiarity group. Also 'trust' showed stronger effects on repurchase intention than 'affective commitment'.

  • The purpose of this paper was to design and implement effective learning model for internet ethics education, following the learning principle and procedure of PBL(Problem-Based Learning) which is one of the constructivism teaching-learning theories(, and to apply it). In this learning model, online learning and face-to-face classes were systematically combined for achieving the teaching-learning goals and the main module for online learning run on Moodle, an open source LMS(Learning Management System). It is possible for learner to participate actively in creation of micro-contents and reorganize contents using various SNS(Social Network Service). The learner can achieve the learner-oriented learning and select micro-contents in order to reorganize the personalized learning contents to take advantage of SNS among learners. To examine educational effectiveness of the proposed learning model, an experimental study was conducted through the education content and method to the subjects of two classes in the second-grade of university located in OO city. 60 students(treatment group=30, control group=30) participated in the experiment. The result statistically verified that the proposed learning method is more effective in cultivating consciousness of internet ethics than the face-to-face PBL learning method. The results of this paper also showed that a lecture using blended learning is efficient in achieving learning performance and that learners responded positively(, which are indicating that the higher effectiveness of learning would be expected) by forming connectedness among learners using SNS.   • School library concentrates its focus on how information literacy is implemented through the collaborative efforts of classroom teachers and teacher librarian. The role of teacher librarian and the competencies they need in order to succeed have changed over many years. However, current LIS education for teacher librarian has limitations in terms of institution, curriculum. In this research, I designed and implemented an Internet-based educational contents development and evaluation for teacher librarian's competency. This system was development by lecture authoring tool(LectureMAKER v2.0). This study tested the effectiveness of the system was verified by survey by 51 college students. The test paper consisted of 20 items(5 scale) for measuring teaching competencies of college students. This study verified effectiveness of the Internet-Based Educational Contents by two dependent samples t-test, Levene test.

  • Mobile service is able to offer the elastic service to anyone regardless of the place and the tin. With this characteristics, the ubiquitous service could be also provided even to the place which the access was limited with the existing line service, which could improve the mutual connection and could result in the service extension Mobile communication companies, which realized the limit of sale only by telephone conversation, have made an effort to develop wireless internet with concentration as its alternation. Especially concentrating their effort both to the development of distinctive and various contents and to tin development of system for mobile service such as the mobile banking, mobile game and etc., they have done their best to secure the number of the people using the wireless internet. This study is to propose the electronic account system based on the mobile as a case study of contents production for such a mobile service. This system has its advantage to perform the financial management immediately when the income and outcome happen without limitation of the time and space. The information could be stored, searched and modified by using of the mobile phone for this system was made up for the weak point of the financial management for wired internet.

  • Video services have been widely generalized thanks to the progress in compression streaming technologies. In spite of the innate difficulties in guaranteeing quality of service(QoS) of the Internet, the quality of service that is experienced by users have been improved considerably with overall bandwidth growth over the Internet and new compression and streaming technologies. For further sophisticated management scheme from the current homogeneous one, it should consider the characteristics of video contents. This paper investigates that the Quality of Experience(: QoE) for video services can vary according to the characteristics of video contents for the same compression method and transmission environments. It is expected that this result contributes to establish a new and advanced scheme to manage QoE for video services over the Internet.
