A Study on the Internet and Teenagers' Culture

  • Internet has become an important part of teenagers' life and has changed the life style of teenagers. Internet can be an useful tool for educating teenagers and also can be misused as a cyberspace for social problems. Recognizing that teenagers spend most of their free time enjoying internet and they form their own new life culture, it is needed to develop practical strategies for maximizing the positive effect of internet on the teenagers' culture. The purpose of this research is to suggest a desirable way for forming teenagers' healthy internet-based culture. The research was conducted by the survey of teenagers in the city of Pyongtaek on their use of internet and their problems The survey shows that most of teenagers are using internet in order to release the stress and most of them are hooked on it. It also indicates that cyber police and volunteer groups should be formed to help the desirable teenagers' internet-based culture.

위험지각이 인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰 이용 소비자의 구매행동의도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Perceived Risk on Purchasing Behavioral Intention of Internet shopping Mall Shoppers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of perceived risk of Internet shopping and the impact of perceived risk on purchasing behavioral intention of Internet shopping mall shoppers. A self-administrated questionnaire was e-mailed to INR research (www.inr.co.kr) panel who had purchasing experience of fashion product through Internet shopping mall. The perceived risk was reduced when the innovativeness increased and purchasing experience in Internet shopping mall increased. The financial risk had an effect on purchasing intention, and social/psychological risk had impact on revisiting intention and word-of-mouth intention negatively. The performance risk perception had significantly negative influence on word-of-mouth intention. Internet using time per week, purchasing experience and Internet innovativeness were positive impact on purchasing behavioral intention of Internet fashion product.

인터넷 중독과 정보윤리에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 - 자아특성 및 인터넷 인지특성을 중심으로 (Factors Influencing Internet Addiction and Information Ethics : Centering on Self Characteristics and Cognitive Characteristics toward Internet)

  • Recently, negative sides of internet, internet and/or game addiction and unethical behavior over internet, have been largely publicized in our society. There have been numerous studies to explore the problems and solutions, but these lack considering broader set of research variables. Therefore, this research investigated how i) internet users' self characteristics and ii) cognitive characteristics toward internet influence iii) internet addiction and iv) information ethics respectively. Especially, this study focused on college students, more mature beings than elementary, middle and high school students with whom most other researches have dealt so far. Major findings of this study are as follows: (1) Willingness to develop relationships over internet, usefulness of internet use, a degree to perceive the cyber space as real, and a degree to express self over internet have significant effects on disabled life style. Self respect willingness to develop relationships over internet, usefulness of internet use, a degree to perceive the cyber space as real, and capability of using internet have significant effects on the lack of control over internet. Willingness to develop relationships over internet, self control, and a degree to express self over internet have significant effects on the lack of control over internet. 2) Regarding the effects of independent variables(self characteristics and cognitive characteristics) on information ethics through internet addiction factors, self respect self control, a degree to perceive the cyber space as real, and capability of using internet have directly and indirectly significant effects on information ethics through internet addiction. Then we suggested four approaches to reduce the internet addiction and improve the information ethics based on the findings.

  • 본 논문은 웹 응용 서버 및 모바일 응용 서버 시스템을 위해 개발된 보안 프레임워크의 설계 및 구현과 관련된 내용을 다루고 있다. 본 논문에서 설명하는 보안 프레임워크는 레거시 보안 시스템과의 연동, J2EE 보안 지원, JAAS 지원, Kerberos 지원 등 응용 서버 시스템들이 요구하는 다양한 보안 기능을 제공하도록 모듈화하여 설계 개발된 것을 특징으로 한다.

Demonstration of Mobile Fronthaul Test Bed Based on RoF Technology Supporting Two Frequency Assignments and 2 × 2 MIMO Antennas

  • We demonstrate a next-generation high-capacity mobile fronthaul based on radio over fiber (RoF) technology, which links between a digital unit and a radio unit supporting two frequency assignments and $2{\times}2$ multiple input, multiple output antennas. To confirm the technical feasibility of a mobile fronthaul, we experimentally investigate its down- and uplink end-to-end performances including the optical and radio frequency (RF) signal path. Frequency-dependent performance deviations, error vector magnitude variations, overall system performance variations caused by optical to electrical conversion, and intermediate frequency to RF conversions are examined. Experimental verifications on multiple LTE uplink signals are performed for the first time. We also demonstrate several commercial mobile Internet services, YouTube video streaming, and file transfers using off-the-shelf mobile devices, through a mobile fronthaul based on RoF.

  • 차세대 인터넷 서버는 인터넷을 통하여 여러 사용자에게 HDTV 급 고품질 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하고자 개발된 시스템이며, 이를 위하여 디스크 연결 및 네트워크 기능을 정합 시킨 특화된 NS 카드를 개발하였다. Contents Container 파일 시스템은 NS 카드 전용으로 개발된 멀티미디어 파일 시스템이며, 본 논문에서는 Contents Container 파일 시스템에 대한 개발 내용을 기술하고, 개발 시스템의 장단점을 파악하고자 EXT3 파일 시스템과 비교 분석하였다.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate whether customer perception on internet fashion shopping mall characteristics influences positive emotion on internet shopping and relationship formation. For data collection, a questionnaire was administrated from February 20th to March 3th in 2012 to 362 adults who have purchased the products from internet fashion shopping mall. The analysis explores the effect of internet shopping mall characteristics on positive shopping emotion and relationship quality. It also tests the mediation effect of positive shopping emotion for the influence of internet fashion shopping mall characteristics on relationship quality. The results are as follows. First, the perceived internet fashion shopping mall characteristics had positive effects on relationship quality. Second, the perceived internet fashion shopping mall characteristics had positively effects on positive shopping emotion. Third, the effect of positive shopping emotion had positive effects on relationship quality. Fourth, the effect of perceived internet fashion shopping mall characteristics on relationship quality, mediated by positive shopping emotion, was shown to be none.

인터넷을 통한 패션상품 구매행동의 탐색적 연구 (Consumers’Purchasing Process of Fashion Products on the Internet: A Qualitative Approach)

  • Although interest in the potential and actual usage of the Internet as a transaction medium is increasing, the market for fashion merchandise on the Internet in Korea has yet to take off. As the Internet environment is expected to bring about a transformation of conventional consumer buying behavior, the purpose of this exploratory research is to investigate the buying behavior of fashion products on the Internet to identify relevant concepts and generate hypotheses for further empirical research. The research methods selected for the study were observation and in-depth interview. Twelve subjects who had purchased fashion products on the Internet were selected and interviewed. Those who could not participate in face-to-face in-depth interviews because of the geographic locations were interviewed on-line. The results are as follows: First, subjects went through the stages of shopping motivation stage, site choice behavior stage, in-site behavior stage, and postpurchase behavior stage. Second, a model was extracted for each shopping stage, and a final model was completed based on comparisons with the participants processes. The information content of each phase was discussed. Finally, each participant was classified using their purchasing process, revealing six possible mixed usage patterns of the Internet marketing system and the traditional marketing system.

  • Internet is now changing the paradigms of traditional commercial activities. As more and more companies are actively involved in electronic commerce using Internet, it is becoming more imperative to understand the customers' perception of electronic commerce to foster healthy growth of Internet electronic commerce. However, research on customer satisfaction in electronic commerce has been scarce. This research investigates the factors affecting customer perception of electronic commerce and suggests the models and the results of the empirical study.

  • To develop and validate an instrument to measure user satisfaction in Internet shopping environment, the EUCS instrument by Doll and Torkzadeh (1988) was used for this research. The results of the study shows how the main constructs of the model that will eventually interact for the user satisfaction in internet commerce environment. This research will present significant progress towards keeping the End-User Computing Satisfaction instrument relevant and applicable under the Internet shopping environment.
