  • By the developing of Internet. the environments of the company have rapidly been changed. Especially. managers in the Internet shoppingmall have been try to provide excellent e-Services to their customers. e-Service i~ defined comprised of all interactive services that are delivered on the Internet uSing advanced telecommunications. information, and multimedia technologies. but according to study of e-Satisfy. com[2000]. customer service through internet is still neither effective nor efficient and poor service will impact on company's profit but excellent service can improve their value and quality of the service or product. In order to customer-oriented e-Services. this study suggested the QFD linked with e-Service quality model for the Internet shoppingmall service system. which can help determine design characteristics being relevant to customer's e-Service quality requirements. this hybrid model have two stages. In the first stage. we do measure service quality and find priorities of service quality attribute by purchase process. and in the second stage. on the basis of priority of e-Service quality attributes, we find design characteristics to maximize customer satisfaction. From this study, we provide internet shoppingmall managers with the implications for improvement of service quality, measuring quality of e-service, providing design characteristics for customer-oriented service quality.

  • Theoretically, both of fund transfer and balance inquiry which are typical Internet banking services are influenced by the beliefs on the use of Internet banking such as perceived risk and convenience, which have been shown as in the other studies. However, the use of fund transfer can be more sensitive than that of balance inquiry by the beliefs on Internet banking use since the former is not only more risk involved but also more complicated in using than the latter. The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the use of two Internet banking services-fund transfer and balance inquiry-and the beliefs on Internet banking use-security risk, convenience and social Influence. For this purpose, we provide the research model for explaining the difference between balance inquiry and fund transfer in the degree of influencing by security risk, convenience and social influence and test it empirically by collecting data from surveying for 206 internet banking users. In result, we show validity of the suggested model by Partial Least Square(PLS) approach.

Network Topology Generation Algorithms Reflecting Internet Evolution (인터넷의 변화성을 고려한 네트워크 위상 생성 알고리즘)

  • Studies of Internet algorithms or policies require experiments on the real large-scale networks. But practical problems with large real networks make them difficult. Instead many researchers use simulations on the Internet topology models. Some tried to find out abstract topological properties of Internet. And several models are proposed to reflect Internet's topological characteristics better. But few studies have been performed on how to model the evolution of Internet. We propose algorithms for modeling addition and removal of nodes and accompanied change of topologies. We analyze the topologies generated by our algorithms to observe that they obey the power-laws better than those generated by existing ones. These algorithms are also expected to be helpful in predicting future topologies of Internet.

The Effects of the Service Quality on the Customer Satisfaction and the Intention to Repurchase in Chinese Internet Shopping Mall (중국의 인터넷 쇼핑몰 품질이 고객 만족 및 재구매 의향에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, there are two research objectives. First, we identified the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction and intention to repurchase in the Internet shopping mall. Second, we tried to analyze the mediating effects of the customer satisfaction on the relationship between service quality and intention to repurchase. Based on past research and theoretical discussions, we developed a research model in terms of service quality and intention to repurchase in the Internet shopping mall. In order to verify our research model, we analyzed 492 survey data of consumers who had experiences in the Internet shopping mall in China. We found that sub-factors of the service quality in the Internet shopping mall have positive effects on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention through the survey data analysis. Among the five factors of service quality in the Internet shopping mall, except assurance, the positive effects of tangibility, responsiveness, empathy and reliability on repurchase intention are statistically significant. In addition, we found mediating effects of customer satisfaction in the Internet shopping mall on the relationship between service quality and intention to repurchase.

A Dynamic Internet Address Model for Providing Customized Information (사용자 맞춤형 정보 제공을 위한 동적 인터넷 주소 모델)

  • The referents of internet addresses are no longer limited to web sites. A new address service by the international organization for the internet address (ICANN) introduces an open space for the TLD (Top Level Domain) strings so that each service, content, product, and other linguistic expressions may be allowed. The open TLD addresses are more suitable for representing the address of service units, contents, or products. In this paper, as an alternative to static Internet address service to return a consistent mapping result regardless of a user-specific different requirements, we design a dynamic internet address mapping model that returns mapping result to suit user particular requirements. In addition, we propose a method for implementing a internet address service without any changes in the existing domain protocols. It may implement a dynamic internet address by attaching to a encoded user's metadata and environment data within a internet address representation, and adding the module for dynamic mapping to the name servers. Through this proposal, trying to expand the functions of internet address, it is expected to be able to provide customized informaiton retrieval services for each user by using just internet address.

  • The growth of the internet shopping mall has led to a critical mass of consumers and firms participating in a global online marketplace. This study is devoted to providing a conceptual framework for describing and analyzing the characteristics of internet shopping mall. We proposed a model which classifies internet shopping mall into four types, including (1) general intermediary (2) general direct-sales (3) specialized intermediary (4) specialized direct-sales. Our framework facilitates greater understanding of the internet shopping mall as commercial medium and allows examination of internet shopping mall in terms of the opportunities and challenges firms facing online business.

  • There have been many research papers and practical implementations on the various EC(Electronic Commerce) aspects such as merchant system, security, payment gateway, legal and policy issues. However, it is very hard to find the systematic approaches and business process models from the viewpoint of the company willing to start B2C(Business-To-Customer) EC. Therefore, we develop business process models for the planning, systems analysis and design, implementation, and operation of internet shopping mall to suggest a guideline and reference model for the realization of successful B2C EC.

A Strategy of Assessing Climate Factors' Influence for Agriculture Output

  • Due to the Internet of Things popularity, many agricultural data are collected by sensors automatically. The abundance of agricultural data makes precise prediction of rice yield possible. Because the climate factors have an essential effect on the rice yield, we considered the climate factors in the prediction model. Accordingly, this paper proposes a machine learning model for rice yield prediction in Taiwan, including the genetic algorithm and support vector regression model. The dataset of this study includes the meteorological data from the Central Weather Bureau and rice yield of Taiwan from 2003 to 2019. The experimental results show the performance of the proposed model is nearly 30% better than MARS, RF, ANN, and SVR models. The most important climate factors affecting the rice yield are the total sunshine hours, the number of rainfall days, and the temperature.The proposed model also offers three advantages: (a) the proposed model can be used in different geographical regions with high prediction accuracies; (b) the proposed model has a high explanatory ability because it could select the important climate factors which affect rice yield; (c) the proposed model is more suitable for predicting rice yield because it provides higher reliability and stability for predicting. The proposed model can assist the government in making sustainable agricultural policies.

Internet Worm Propagation Model Using Centrality Theory

  • The emergence of various Internet worms, including the stand-alone Code Red worm that caused a distributed denial of service (DDoS), has prompted many studies on their propagation speed to minimize potential damages. Many studies, however, assume the same probabilities for initially infected nodes to infect each node during their propagation, which do not reflect accurate Internet worm propagation modelling. Thus, this paper analyzes how Internet worm propagation speed varies according to the number of vulnerable hosts directly connected to infected hosts as well as the link costs between infected and vulnerable hosts. A mathematical model based on centrality theory is proposed to analyze and simulate the effects of degree centrality values and closeness centrality values representing the connectivity of nodes in a large-scale network environment on Internet worm propagation speed.

User Acceptance of the Mobile Internet Services (무선 인터넷 서비스의 사용자 수용)

  • Despite their potential value, the mobile Internet services in the domestic market have not been widely accepted as industry experts have expected. To understand why, this study uses the TAM, Technology Acceptance Model, and explores the factors affecting the usage behavior of the end-users. Based on statistical analysis of survey data, we show that social influence and perceived ease of use affect perceived usefulness, and that self-efficacy and focus significantly influence perceived ease of use. Furthermore, perceived usefulness is shown to play a significant role in explaining actual usage of the mobile Internet services. However, contrary to the hypothesized relationships, service quality, focus, and innovativeness of users turn out to have little impact on the traditional endogenous TAM variables such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and actual usage behavior. Based on these results, we attempt to provide managerial implications for the domestic mobile Internet service providers and to suggest future research directions in this domain of research.
