인터넷 쿠키은 HTTP에 내재된 비연결성 문제를 해결하고 인터넷 서버에서 사용자의 상태를 파악할 수 있게 하여, 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 해주는 유용한 기술이다. 하지만 제 3자 쿠키와 슈퍼 쿠키와 같이 인터넷 쿠키 기술이 보다 정교해지고 쿠키에 포함시킬 수 있는 정보를 이용하여 광고나 타깃 마케팅에 응용하게 되면서, 사용자 개인의 다양한 정보가 과도하게 수집되는 문제가 발생하고 있다. 하지만 쿠키 정보는 우리 법률상에서 개인정보로 취급받고 있지 못하여, 사용자는 자신의 쿠키 데이터에 어떠한 정보가 저장되고 있는지 혹은 어디에 응용되는지 명확히 확인할 수 없는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인터넷 쿠키로 인해서 발생하고 있는 문제를 해결하기 위해서, 먼저 인터넷 쿠키에 대해서 알아보고 이로 인해서 발생하는 프라이버시 및 잊혀질 권리에 대한 침해에 대해서 살펴본다. 그리고 인터넷 쿠키 정보와 법률상의 개인정보와의 관계에 대해서 분석하고, 이를 통하여 인터넷을 편리하게 이용하기 위해, 인터넷 쿠키를 안전하게 사용하기 위한 필요한 기술상 및 법률상의 개선사항에 대해서 알아본다.

기술은 다양한 차원에서 잠재적 용도를 가지고 있고, 그것을 둘러싼 사회적 맥락에 의해 끊임없이 변화한다. 따라서 기술이라는 인공물의 내적 논리체계에는 정치적 함의가 투영되어 있다고 할 수 있다. 이것은 인터넷 규제기술에도 동일하게 맥락화 될 수 있는데. 어떠한 기술이 채택되느냐에 따라서 정보통제권 관계는 매우 가변적이다. 본 논문은 인터넷 내용등급제를 사례로 이용자 정보통제권에 정합하는 인터넷 규제기술 구조와 원리 및 그 사회적 함의를 고찰한다

This paper depicts a study conducted on the behavior of physical education students towards Internet usage at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Specially, the study aims to know the purposes for use of Internet resources and services, frequency of use, places and means of use, student's satisfaction level toward the Internet, and problems faced while using the Internet. A survey was carried out with a sample of 100 physical education students of Kurukshetra University and the response rate was 88%. A well-designed questionnaire was distributed to the students' sample. Amazingly, the results of the study reveal that usage of the Internet in research and education was not favored, whereas email, chatting, and sports websites were commonly used among students. The study also found that too much information on the Internet, slow access speeds, and finding relevant information were the main problems in using the Internet.

It is quite a necessity for the small and medium corporations(Abbre : SMC) to have information technology in order to survive in ever changing global business environment . Especially recently, the importance and uses of Internet have greatly increased by SMCs facing changing environment. This thesis aims to propose various application alternatives of Internet through the analysis of the Internet uses by SMCs. For the analysis, questionaires were distributed nationally to 126 small and medium corporate entities, and 64 out of 82 retrived questionaires have been used for the analysis. The analysis revealed several notable points related with Internet applications by SMCs that , although SMCs strongly feel the need for the use of Internet. -the level of recognition for the existence of the Internet was relatively low -the time used was also at low level -the job which uses Internet was mainly marketing related -and the fields applied were concentrated in those of search and e-mail. The benefits which are derived from the use of Internet include swift provision of technological information to SMCs ,improvement of active interchanges of information through the whole relate networks, strengthened promotion of products made by Internet to promote smooth communications (among related divisions or personnels), to automate work systems , and to systemizestrategic management planning process etc. Consequently, it is expected that, althgough the level of application of Internet is quite low, Internet can be served as a source of information technology and futher as a weapon to better combat strong competition through various supports at government level, since small and medium corporations feel its strong need for Internet.

컴퓨터기술과 통신기술이 결합하여 정보통신기술이 비약적인 발전을 하면서, 그 산물인 인터넷의 사용인구가 급증하고 있다. 정보화사회를 대표하는 인터넷을 통해 인간의 정보활용 능력이 획기적으로 증대되었다. 이에 따라 인터넷 이용자가 폭발적으로 확산됨에 따라 인터넷이용자들과 소비자들을 보호하는 법제들이 제정되고, 개정되고 있음에도 불구하고 인터넷이용자들의 피해가 날이 갈수록 증가하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 인터넷 이용자 보호를 위한 제도 개선방안을 도출하기 위하여 인터넷 이용자보호 관련 주요 이슈를 공정한 정보의 제공, 계약체결단계의 의무 등 개별서비스유형별 이슈로 세분화하여 현황 및 문제점을 분석한 후 개선방안을 도출하여 보았다.

인터넷은 도서관정보서비스에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 본고는 인터넷의 개요과 인터넷정보자원을 활용하여 부가가치정보서비스를 개발한 사례를 살펴보았다. 전자메일을 통한 신착 정보서비스의 사례로서 미국워싱턴대학의 Zephyr, 독일 베링거맨하임사의 BM-SwetScan, 한국과학기술원의 Jcontents를, 웹기반 통합시스템으로서 미국의 HarperSource, Ei Village, IPL, 그리고 한국전자통신연구원의 ETLARS를 소개하였다. 인터넷정보자원을 탐색하여 평가하고 조직적으로 체계화하는 것이 큰 과제이다.

센서 데이터 스트림 처리 기술은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 기술로 그 중요성이 날로 증대되어, 현재 산업계는 물론 학계에서도 그 역량을 이에 집중하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 센서 데이터 스트림에 대한 특징 및 이를 처리하기 위한 산업계와 학계의 동향을 알아본다. 그리고, 대용량 센서데이터 스트림을 처리하기 위해 요구되어지는 기능을 정리하고, 이를 기반으로 센서 데이터 스트림처리 시스템의 구조를 설계한다.

This research aims to analyze the general trend of the patent by systematical, multilateral and segmented analysis of the technology's flow and trend, the present technological position of status and the distribution map of the technology by country, technology area using chart and graph.

There is a need for research to identify the integrated, rather than fragmented, factors that determine users' acceptance of Internet shopping. Using the newly revised technology acceptance model (TAM) as a theoretical framework, this study investigates the effect of a set of information systems quality (information quality and system quality) and trust on intention to use Internet showing through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Using structural equation modeling, the results strongly support the utilization of TAM in predicting users' intention to use Internet shopping, and demonstrates the effects of critical external variables on behavior intention through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Systems quality such as response time, accessibility, and usability has significant effects on perceived ease of use of Internet shopping. Futhermore, trust has also a significant effect on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, intention to use Internet shopping, and actual usage of Internet shopping. Based on these results, this study suggests managerial implications of new Internet shopping strategies, focusing on the integration of information systems quality and trust in order to achieve sustainable competitive advantage in Internet shopping.

As baby boomer generations become older, these "New-age elderly" have emerged as an important consumer segment for apparel products. These young-minded elderly have positive attitudes to technology and enjoy many of high technology tool in their everyday life, which signals a huge market potential for internet apparel retailing targeting these elderly consumers. Internet apparel businesses are required to provide various consumer information to its consumers to facilitate the decision making process. For elderly consumers, who might have different shopping behaviors from the younger consumer segments, different kinds of information with higher quality would be required. As a preliminary step to develop internet consumer information model for elderly consumers, this study seeks to investigate the current practice of information offerings of internet apparel businesses for elderly consumers. Ten internet sites carrying apparel products for elderly consumers were selected and analyzed their offerings of consumer information by five researchers. This study found that internet apparel businesses targeting elderly consumers were still small-sized and lack of sophisticated technology to support these elderly consumers. Most web sites provided basic product information and service information but not fashion and trend related information. Managerial implications were discussed.
