A Study on the Secure Global Key Recovery System (안전한 글로벌 키복구 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Harn al proposed a GKRS(Global Key Recovery System) that combines the functions of the key recovery authorities and the public key certification authorities(CA), Among other features, user dominance(i.e, a user is allowed to select his own public-private key pair and especially a public element for verifying the validity of the public-private key pair)is proposed by [1] for wide acceptance of GKRS. In this paper, we attack the RSA version of GKRS by showing that its user-dominance feature and the corresponding key verification scheme employed by the CA allow for fraud by users against CA. We propose more secure GKPS than original GKPS, The proposed system makes the probability of user fraud negligible small.

  • The Internet continues to grow and develop, but there are going to generate a variety of Internet attacks that exploit it. In the initial Internet environment, the attackers maliciously exploited Internet environments for ostentations and hobbies. but these days many malicious attempts purpose the financial gain so systematic and sophisticated attacks that are associated with various crimes are occurred. The structures, such as viruses and worms were present in the form of one source multi-target before. but recently, APT(Advanced Persistent Threat, intelligent continuous attacks) in the form of multi-source single target is dealing massive damage. The performance evaluation analyzed whether to generate audit data and detect integrity infringement, and false positives for normal traffic, process detecting and blocking functions, and Agent policy capabilities with respect to the application availability.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the perceived risk which influences consumers' purchase attitudes so that consumers' participation in electronic commerce could be enhanced. Consumer behavior involves risk in the sense that any action of a consumer will produce consequences which one cannot anticipate, and some of which are at least likely to be unpleasant. The types of perceived risks are financial risk, performance risk, social risk, psychological risk, time loss, opportunity loss, privacy risk, fashion loss, delivery risk, seller's response risk and seller's fraud risk The findings are as follows: $\circled1$ The financial risk, performance risk, time loss, delivery risk, seller's response risk and seller's fraud risk have negative effects on the consumers' purchase attitudes. $\circled2$ There is no difference in the level of perceived risk according to the demographic factors such as age, education and income level.

  • In spite of advantages to using internet, but there are many adverse effects. The most well-known negative effects include internet addiction, personal information infringement, copyright violation, spread of harmful information, cyber bullying, online fraud, hacking and virus distribution, and online prostitution. Until now, the government and public organization strived to prevent and reduce the negative effects but have faced limitations. In accordance with, one of the measures the solve the problems caused by internet is to strengthen the internet ethics education. This study aims to consider and analyze the negative effects of internet and provide measures to promote internet ethics education to prevent and reduce such effects.

  • 인터넷의 모바일화에 따른 스마트폰 이용자의 증가는 모바일 기반의 다양한 서비스가 개발 보급되는 환경을 제공하였다. 그 중에서도 모바일 폰을 사용한 결제 서비스는 결제의 편리성이라는 이점으로 활성화 되고 있지만, 편리한 만큼 보안의 취약성을 가질 수 있다는 단점이 있다. 특히, 초기에 모바일 기반 소액결제 서비스가 활성화 되면서, 스미싱으로 인한 이용자 피해가 사회문제로 대두되면서 이를 해결하기 위한 대안들이 제시되었다. 전자금융거래로 인한 금전적 피해는 카드사에서 이미 진행되고 있었으며, 최근에는 이용자의 피해를 최소화하기 위해서 은행, 증권사에도 이상금융거래 탐지 시스템(FDS) 구축을 규제하고 있다. 이에, 논문에서는 모바일 소액결제 서비스 환경에서의 이상금융거래 탐지를 위한 시스템 개발에 대한 연구 방향에 대해서 제시하고자 한다.

  • Most of Koreans have smartphone. By using smartphone, they have done internet-banking, e-commerce and private scheduling. However, convenience of smart phone has been made side effect such as tool of fraud and crime. Especially, Smishing on smartphone has been increased rapidly since 2013. Smishing have utilized social-engineering technique with social issue such as Korean near-sea cruse ship, 'Sewol-Ho', Sinking and traditional thanks-giving holiday, 'Chu-Seok', etc. This paper proposed the oncoming trend of smishing on smartphone after 2014. This paper also analyzed the process and technique of smishing on internal financial fraud. It also covered smartphone forensic for using legal evidence. By discovering the connectivity of smishing and financial fraud, this paper could be reference for social security on smartphone.

  • Recently, We have many private information leakage cases through internet which cause social problems and it is impossible to change or update the leaked information, it is also used to the third crime such as identity theft, internet fraud. Hackers are interested in stealing private information for making money, in this point private information leakage problems are constantly increased hereafter. In this paper, I surveyed the authorization model on site registration which is currently used in Korea, and the problem of collecting personal identification number, I proposed policy model of useless method of private information, especially leaked information can not be used anymore in internet.

  • Smartphone, tablet PC, notebook, such as the Internet banking and electronic commerce using a mobile device, as well as process and to their work. Smishing smartphone accidents increased sharply from 2013, MERS infection cases, landmine provocative events, such as the delivery of Thanksgiving has occurred cleverly using social engineering techniques. In this paper, i analyze the trends in Smishing hacking attacks on mobile devices since 2014. With regard to social issues, it analyzes the process of hacking attacks Smishing leading to financial fraud to mobile users.

Mutual Authentication and Secure Session Termination Scheme in iATA Protocol

  • Ubiquitous mobile computing is becoming easier and more attractive in this ambient technological Internet world. However, some portable devices such as Personal Digital Assistant (PDAs) and smart phones are still encountering inherent constraints of limited storages and computing resources. To alleviate this problem, we develop a cost-effective protocol, iATA to transfer ATA commands and data over TCP/IP network between mobile appliances and stationary servers. It provides mobile users a virtual storage platform which is physically resided at remote home or office. As communications are made through insecure Internet connections, security risks of adopting this service become a concern. There are many reported cases in the history where attackers masquerade as legitimate users, illegally access to network-based applications or systems by breaking through the poor authentication gates. In this paper, we propose a mutual authentication and secure session termination scheme as the first and last defense steps to combat identity thief and fraud threat in particular for iATA services. Random validation factors, large prime numbers, current timestamps, one-way hash functions and one-time session key are deployed accordingly in the scheme. Moreover, we employ the concept of hard factorization problem (HFP) in the termination phase to against fraud termination requests. Theoretical security analysis discussed in later section indicates the scheme supports mutual authentication and is robust against several attacks such as verifiers' impersonation, replay attack, denial-of-services (DoS) attack and so on.
