The referents of internet addresses are no longer limited to web sites. A new address service by the international organization for the internet address (ICANN) introduces an open space for the TLD (Top Level Domain) strings so that each service, content, product, and other linguistic expressions may be allowed. The open TLD addresses are more suitable for representing the address of service units, contents, or products. In this paper, as an alternative to static Internet address service to return a consistent mapping result regardless of a user-specific different requirements, we design a dynamic internet address mapping model that returns mapping result to suit user particular requirements. In addition, we propose a method for implementing a internet address service without any changes in the existing domain protocols. It may implement a dynamic internet address by attaching to a encoded user's metadata and environment data within a internet address representation, and adding the module for dynamic mapping to the name servers. Through this proposal, trying to expand the functions of internet address, it is expected to be able to provide customized informaiton retrieval services for each user by using just internet address.

The MANET(Mobile Ad Hoc Network) is an independent network that is oranized by only Mobile Hosts. MANET guarantees the mobility of the node and does not need a backbone network or a base station. Recently, there is a strong demand to connect MANET to the Internet. For the interconnection between MANET and Internet, Mobile hosts of MANET must have global IP address. The well known scheme of the address configuration for MANET is SAA(Stateless Address Autoconfiguration). SAA configurated IP address by node itself. The advantage of SAA is not requiring any server for address configuration. However the SAA has problems of unstable and inefficient interconnection on the AD Hoc Network. To solve this problem we propose a method that assigns an IPv6 Global address to the node through the Internet Gateway. The format of assigned IPv6 address is also defined. The simulation result demonstrates that the proposed method can support the host for fast getting of global IPv6 Address and Mobile IPv6 efficiently.
This article consists of 3 parts. Part I is multi stakeholder approach on Internet governance system. Part II is analysis of the Korean Internet governance system. In this part, I explain relevant laws in Korea, including Korean Internet Address Resources Act. Part III is my suggestion on Korean Internet governance system using a multi stakeholder approach. First of all, the keyword of the Internet governance system is decision making process: that is, consensus based versus top-down approach. Then who are major players in Internet governance in national level? Government, or Private sectors such as business and civil society. Korean legal system for Internet governance shows a top-down decision making process. Major players are the government (that is, Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning) and KISA affiliated with the government. Other players include Internet Address Policy Committee, Korea Internet Governance Alliance, and NGOs. The key statute for Internet governance in Korea is Internet Address Resources Act of 2004. Articles 3 and 5 require the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning to take a proactive role in Internet governance. The government shall consult with the Internet Address Policy Deliberation Committee for Internet governance. Yet this Committee is established under the control of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. All members of this Committee are also commissioned or nominated by the Chairman of the Ministry. Meanwhile, there are also non-official organizations, including Sub-committee on Address & Infrastructure of Korea Internet Governance Alliance. I suggest to reform decision making process of Korean Internet governance system based on BOTTOM-UP process for CONSENSUS BASED DECISION. My suggested system includes the following: (1) The government hands over a major role in Internet governance to INDEPENDENT Internet policy organization. And the government participates in such organization as ONE of the players. (2) Nomination of this committee member must be bottom-up process for a genuine multi-stakeholder model including civil society, commercial organization, end-users and experts. (3) The government should establish plan for supporting the private sector's international activity on the long-term basis.

A hybrid Ad-hoc network connected to the Internet needs an IP address configuration to communicate with the Internet. Most of proposed address autoconfiguration algorithms are node based. The node based address autoconfiguration algorithms waste bandwidth and consume much battery in mobile ad-hoc networks. In this paper, we propose the address allocation algorithm in hybrid Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET). The proposed algorithm reduces network traffic by transferring address configuration packet to the internet gateway by unicast method. Moreover, our IP address configuration algorithm also reduces battery consumption and address configuration time by decreasing number of configuration packets on internet gateway.
Internet GIS represents the GIS technique that, by integrating Internet and GIS technique, provides geographic information services through Internet environments, Internet GIS suggests that one can search and analyze spatial data through WWW under the dynamic client/ server computing environments, In this paper we introduce the development of a new address management system using GIS technique and a new address information system using Internet GIS, The new address system, which is based on stress name and building number along the street, is developed to complement the current address system which is based on cadastral system, The new address management system is developed for the management of address change due to establishment of roads, construction and destruction of buildings etc using a GIS, The new address information system presents the Internet GIS system which provides people with geographic and address information. By implementing the new address information system it is possible to share GIS data, increase the efficiency of implementation of GIS system, and maximize its usablity.
According as computer is supplied in a lot of homes and offices and Internet use increases, various service based on the Internet. Including wireless PDA in the future, many devices such as Internet telephone, TV, refrigerator and oven will be connected on the Internet and Internet address exhaustion will be raised to serious problem gradually. Today, the IPv4 address exhaustion problem has been solved partially using NAT (Network Address Translation) however, the transition to next Generation Internet will be accelerated because of advantages such as mobility, security service, QoS, and abundant IP addresses. In IPv6, all hosts are designed to create and set their address automatically without manager's intervention using Neighbor Discovery Protocol. But, when an IPv6 host sets its address automatically, there are serious security vulnerabilities. In this paper, we analysis security vulnerabilities in auto-configuration and provide security requirements for secure auto-configuration.
Recently most of the home and small-size company use ADSL(Asymmetric Digital subscriber Line) or Cable Modem for using Internet Services. The number of Internet IP Address in current Internet IP Address System(IPv4) that is consisted of 4byte is almost empty, so generally the IP Address assigned dynamically is used. This way is just OK in general uses, but not OK in Internet Servers operation. This paper designed the gateway(Gate-D) system which is enable any system that get IP Address assigned dynamically to serve Internet Server Services(Telnet, FTP, HTTP, Mail, etc …), and made sure the worth by using Telnet Server.
In this paper, we propose the address allocation algorithm in hybrid Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET). Most of proposed address autoconfiguration algorithms are node based. Node based address autoconfiguration algorithms are inefficient. Because the node based algorithms waste bandwidth and consume much battery in mobile ad-hoc networks. we present the address allocation algorithm using internet gateway based address autoconfiguration by modifing the IPv6 stateless address autoconfiguration protocol. We use the network simulator NS-2 in our experiments. The simulation result shows reducing network traffic and saving battery.

In spite of widely deploying information broadcasting services based on Internet, there are some limitations to use them due to the bound of Internet protocol. In this paper, a new Internet broadcasting technology for access network is proposed by employing IP address translation function in base station. There are some advantages such as; no need to allocate IP address to receiver, no need to know web site address, and reduction of traffic for server and network. Especially, this technology is very proper to wireless Internet local information broadcasting.
The Internet has been growing at unprecedented rates. The problem of an address shortage could act as a barrier on this growth. In principle, a new Internet standard, IPv6 solves the problem of the address shortage because it has a very large address space. But IPv6 is not yet compatible with the IPv4 and during the IPv4-to-IPv6 transition period IPv4 address will continue to be in demand. Thus for quite some time, the problem of IP address shortage will persist. To solve the problem, we propose the mechanism of secure IP address trading. This mechanism is based on the Resource PKI (RPKI). The RPKI is the working item of IETF. This proposed mechanism maximizes the trust of IP address trading using RPKI.
