  • This research purposes on comparing some e-trailing models in character and presenting the obstacles of e-trailing activation and the solutions, e-trailing models this research has studied are 1) Bolero, 2) TradeCard, 3) BeXcom, 4) Identrus, and 5) TEDI etc. Comparing characteristic points of the e-trading models are as follows ; 1) Access ways as a global e-trading model, 2) Structural characteristic, 3) Functional characteristic, 4) Role as a global e-trading model, 5) Legal issues, 6) Application issues in practice, 7) Security issues for Technology.

한국과 주요 교역국 간 무역통계 불일치에 관한 연구 - 중국과 홍콩을 중심으로 - (A Study on Statistics Discrepancies in the Bilateral Trade Between Korea and Its Major Partners - Focusing on PRC and Hong Kong -)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the degree of discrepancies in the bilateral trade data between South Korea and its five major trade partners and to identify the key factors causing the discrepancies. By analyzing statistics based on the CIF/FOB ratio estimation and taking into consideration the trade flow via Hong Kong, the study finds that the discrepancies in South Korea's trade data with the US, Vietnam, and Japan are insignificant. In case of Hong Kong, however, the value of South Korea's import from Hong Kong is extensively inconsistent with Hong Kong's export to South Korea(i.e. the mirror data) while the value of South Korea's export to Hong Kong generally corresponds to its mirror data. Such discrepancies are caused by differences in recording re-exports, which are often found in the trade flow via entrepôt economics including Hong Kong. Meanwhile, discrepancies in reported bilateral trade flows between South Korea and People's Republic of China(PRC) remain relatively marginal. The discrepancy of statistics between South Korea as the exporter and PRC as the importer is mainly caused by the trade flow via Hong Kong. On the other hand, the discrepancy of statistics between South Korea as the importer and PRC as the exporter is assumably due to the differences in attribution of trade partners.

전자상거래무역 확산을 위한 법률개정방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Way to Amendment of the Law for Diffusion of CBEC)

  • 최근 급속히 확산되고 있는 '전자상거래무역' 혹은 '국경을 넘는 전자상거래(CBEC)'에 대하여 우리정부는 수출증대에 미치는 영향이 크다는 판단하에 적극적인 지원을 하고 있다. 그러나 다양한 부처에서 산발적으로 추진되는 지원은 효과적이지도 효율적이지도 못한 실정이다. 따라서 지원정책의 일관성과 효과성, 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 법률적으로 주무부처를 명확히 하고 타부처에 대하여는 협조의무를 부여하는 방안이 바람직하다. 이를 위해서는 기존에 부처별 업무영역에 따라 산재되어 있는 법률들을 각각 개정하거나 새로운 법률의 제정을 해야 한다. 그러나 이는 현실적으로 실행하기가 쉽지 않기 때문에 기존 법률 중 가장 유사한 영역을 규정하고 있는 '전자무역 촉진에 관한 법률'을 개정하는 것이 실현가능한 대안으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 CBEC를 확산하기 위하여 이 법률의 개정을 하는 것이 다른 방안에 비하여 합리적이라는 점을 다양한 문헌자료를 통하여 제시하여 우리나라 CBEC의 확산, 특히 CBEC 수출의 확대에 기여하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 삼는다.

피투자국의 부패에 따른 신흥국 다국적기업의 파트너 선택 (The Effect of Corruption in Host Country on Joint Venture Partner Selection of Emerging Multinational Enterprises)

  • Based on the existing OFDI (outward foreign direct investment) literature, this study endeavored to verify how the corruption of host countries affects the partner strategy of EMNEs (emerging multinational enterprises) when EMNEs enter global markets through joint ventures. Following the existing literature, this study classified corruption and partner strategies into two categories, respectively. First, the corruption of host country was divided into grand corruption and petty corruption. Second, EMNEs' joint venture partner strategy was divided into home country partner joint venture and host country (i.e., local) partner joint venture. Our hypothesis suggested that the greater the host country's grand corruption, the more EMNEs would choose the host country partner, while the strong petty corruption leads to the preference of home country partner in host country. The hypotheses were verified with a sample of 890 foreign direct investment cases of Chinese multinational companies from 2005 to 2015. As a result of the study, regardless of the degree of corruption, it was found that they prefer joint ventures with home country partners when EMNEs enter the global market through joint ventures.

  • e-Marketplace is a business concept which is importantly considered in the area of marketing. e-Marketplace provides the public field in which multi-purchasers can efficiently trade with multi-suppliers. Supply Chain Management(SCM) is being widely acknowledged by the development of information technology. SCM is well known as one of the key issues lately. The complexity of supply chains and the associated potential opportunities for gaining a competitive edge by designing a product and process to support supply chain management can be significant. In order to achieve successful implementation of supply chain management system, companies should understand some barriers in implementation and set up effective and integrated information system. Standardization of logistics is needed through the unification of EDI, Bar Code, Pallet and so on. It's effect is magnified on Efficient Consumer Response such as efficient store assortment, efficient replenishment, efficient promotion and efficient product introduction. International logistics management is the integration of key business processes from original suppliers to end user that provides products, services and information that add value for customers. e-Logistics is being used in managing the international logistics. In this study, three basic e-SCM models for the strategic implementation of supply chain management are suggested. Among them, the virtual company can be the best one we can develop in order to cope with the individualized customer needs.

수출마케팅에서 무역e-Marketplace 참여기업의 환경-활용-성과모형에 관한 연구 (Environment-Usage-Performance Model on Participating Firms of Electronic Marketplace in Export Marketing)

  • The purpose of this research is to study whether environments of participating firms of electronic marketplace(e-MP) have an influence on usage factors which are supplying from e-MP and usage factors affect usage performances. Based on the existing researches we found variables and executed a empirical study of environment-usage-performance model. Through this research we suggested useful factors for the performance of trade enterprises. Usage factors of e-MP will overcome geographical limitation and acquire new sales areas and simultaneously widen the relationships of global enterprises. Those firms could be accessible into global market promptly. To enhance usages of e-MP, service quality which can satisfy both buyer and seller at the same time should be strengtened. Finally, the usage of e-trade information should also heighten through usage factors.

SWIFTNet TSU BPO의 역할 (The Role of Bank Payment Obligation under SWIFTNet's Trade Service Utility)

  • 본 연구는 최근 전자무역의 대금결제에서 부각되고 있는 SWIFTNet TSU BPO를 탐색하기 위하여 먼저 SWIFT에서 진행되고 있는 SWIFTNet TSU BPO의 개관과 운영 메커니즘 검토를 통하여 업무 절차의 효율성 제고를 위한 진행 사항과 추이를 살펴보았고 아울러 기존 결제 업무의 분석과 함께 이를 위한 원활한 정보화의 개선 방향을 제시해 보았다. 이러한 분석 결과 얻어진 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 은행지급보증통일규칙(URBPO)을 통한 지속적인 법적 보완이 이루어져야 하며 SWIFT와 은행은 무역거래당사자의 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 제도적 개선이 요구된다. 둘째, SWIFTNet TSU BPO도 보안성과 안정성 및 편리성을 갖추고 단일화된 공유기반의 플랫폼을 갖추어야한다. 즉 지속적인 시장의 변화에 발맞추어 전자결제의 국제적 환경에 부합하는 서비스를 개발해야 한다. 셋째, SWIFTNet TSU BPO가 전 세계의 수출입업자들이 만족할 수 있는 글로벌 결제 솔루션으로 거듭나기 위해서는 기술적 표준화가 선결되어야 한다. 이와 함께 은행은 여러 형태의 협력적 제휴를 강화하고 무역업체의 업무 시스템과 연결되어 운영 효율성을 높이는 방향으로 나아가야 할 것이다. 끝으로 향후 연구 과제는 본 연구에서 도출된 결과를 확장하여 더 다양하고 실효성 있는 환경변수를 살펴볼 수 있는 분석틀을 발전시켜야 하겠다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine which factors are encouraging SMEs to participate in uTradeHub(focused on the uTrade search service) in terms of product characteristics and sourcing patterns. The three factors encouraging Trade e-Marketplaces are identified in this study. First, internal factors include the support of top management, mature of IT infrastructure. Second, external factors include the pressure of industry, industry competition, dependence of trading partners. Third perception factors are perceived Usefulness, perceived easy of use. The empirical analysis had the following results. First, it reveals that support of top management, mature of IT infrastructure, industry competition have significant influence upon uTrade Search Services. On the other hand, pressure of industry, dependence of trading partners, Perceived relative benefits are not significant variable of the participation in uTrade Search Services. Second, the factors affecting the participation in uTrade Search Services are differentiated in terms of product characteristics and sourcing patterns. And the support of top management, mature of IT infrastructure, Perceived relative benefits are emphasized very important factors affecting the participation of uTrade Search Services in SMEs. The industry competition is recognized as more important factor in horizontal market in which Spot sourcing just like Operating products is trading. On the other hands, the dependence of trading partners are significant factor in vertical market in which Systemic sourcing just like Manufacturing products is trading.

  • Innovation resistance toward technology products such as e-Marketplace is an important concept in business to business marketing. But most of researches and literatures have not been focused on innovation resistance. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to confirm key factors that effects on the innovation resistance. Additionally this study will be revealed the factors affecting the innovation resistance to information technology of trade according to adopting stage. Based on the past literatures, the innovation resistance of users can be viewed as dependent on two sets of factors came from the study of Innovation Resistance Model(Ram, 1987):perceived innovation(e-Marketplace) characteristics and user(trading company) characteristics. Perceived innovation characteristics consists of relative advantage, compatibility, perceived risk, complexity, inhibitory effect on the adoption of profitable innovation. The user characteristics consist of innovativeness, beliefs and attitude toward existing trade method. And user adoption stage came from the study of Innovation Diffusion(Roger, 1995). To make it simple, this study divides group1(knowledge/persuasion/decision) and group2(implementation/confirmation). In the result of the empirical study, the hypothesis 1, hypothesis 2, hypothesis 4 were supported partially and hypothesis 3 was completely supported.

  • ICC는 주기적으로 변화하는 국제무역환경에 대응하고자 Incoterms 등의 국제무역규칙을 개정하고 있으며, 최근에는 제8차 개정을 위해 Drafting Group을 구성하여 차기 Incoterms의 개정방향에 대해 논의 중에 있다. 최근 정보통신기술의 발달로 스마트워크에 대한 관심이 세계적으로 높아지고 있다. 스마트워크는 시공간적 제약에서 벗어나 업무를 수행한다는 개념으로, 모바일오피스는 스마트워크의 대표적인 업무형태이다. 스마트워크는 기업 종사자의 업무 수행 형태에 커다란 변화를 가져왔으며, 국제무역거래에도 적지 않은 영향을 미쳐 전자무역관습의 변화를 동반하였다. 본 연구는 정보통신기술의 발달이 전자무역관습에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 살펴보고 전자문서정보화에 대한 Incoterms의 개정과정을 분석하여 Incoterms 8차 개정에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.
