  • Ad hoc network is self-organized network powered by battery. The reliability of virtual user identification and channel security are reduced when SNR is low due to limited user energy. In order to solve this problem, a joint virtual user identification and channel security en/decoding method is proposed in this paper. Transmitter-receiver-based virtual user identification code is generated by executing XOR operation between orthogonal address code of transmitter and pseudo random address code of receiver and encrypted by channel security code to acquire orthogonal random security sequence so as to improve channel security. In order to spread spectrum as well as improve transmission efficiency, data packet is divided into 6-bit symbols, each symbol is mapped with an orthogonal random security sequence. Subspace-based method is adopted by receiver to process received signal firstly, and then a judgment model is established to identify virtual users according to the previous processing results. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method obtains 1.6dB Eb/N0 gains compared with reference methods when miss alarm rate reaches 10-3.

  • The utilization of GPUs on general-purpose computers is currently on the rise due to the increase in its programmability and performance requirements. The utility of tools like NVIDIA's CUDA have been designed to allow programmers to code algorithms by using C-like language for the execution process on the graphics processing units GPU. Unfortunately, many of the performance and correctness bugs will happen on parallel programs. The CUDA tool support for the parallel programs has not yet been actualized. The use of a dynamic analyzer to find performance and correctness bugs in CUDA programs facilitates the execution of sophisticated processes, especially in modern computing requirements. Any race conditions bug it will impact of program correctness and the share memory bank conflicts to improve the overall performance. The technique instruments the programs in a way that promotes accessibility of the memory locations accessed by different threads well as to check for any bugs in the code of a program. The instrumented source code will be used initiated directly in the device emulation code of CUDA to send report for the user about all errors. The current degree of automation helps programmers solve subtle bugs in highly complex programs or programs that cannot be analyzed manually.

  • The 5th revision of Korean Classification of Diseases(KCD) became effective on January 1, 2008. It has reflected the changes made to the tenth revision of International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) between 1998 and 2005 and the suggestions of academic and related societies in Korea. Two important alterations seem to have a major implication in the insurance industry. One would be the official introduction of a Korean version of International Classification of Diseases for Oncology, third edition(ICD-O-3). The borderline ovarian tumor is classified as a borderline neoplasm, which was classified as a malignant neoplasm in the previous edition of International Classification of Diseases for Oncology. The other would be the appearance of non-C-code malignant neoplasm for the diseases, such as polycythemia vera, newly classified as a malignant neoplasm by the current edition of International Classification of Diseases for Oncology. The National Office of Statistics(NSO) adopted the way of implementation used in the Australian Modification of International Classification of Diseases(ICD-10-AM), instead of assigning them into corresponding C code. Overall, the changes made in this revision doesn't seem to have a serious impact on the insurance industry since it has only reflected updates made to ICD-10.

  • The software industry is so important to the 21C information society Not only the digital content control but the technology of software source code for the intellectual property is so much mean to international competition. On occurring disputation property of software source code, we have to prove the fact, there is a problem to discriminate the original software source code. In this paper, we make a study of the digital licence prototype for discriminate the original source code. Reserved words of software source code by parsing express to XML file that have hierarchical structure. Then, we can express node pattern and architecture pattern of software source code by tree structure form instead of complex software source code. And we make a simulation of discrimination possibility of digital license and propose CRYPTEX model.

  • Program plagiarism is widespread due to intelligent software and the global Internet environment. Consequently the detection of plagiarized source code and software is becoming important especially in academic field. Though numerous studies have been reported for detecting plagiarized pairs of codes, we cannot find any profound work on understanding the underlying mechanisms of plagiarism. In this paper, we study the evolutionary process of source codes regarding that the plagiarism procedure can be considered as evolutionary steps of source codes. The final goal of our paper is to reconstruct a tree depicting the evolution process in the source code. To this end, we extend the well-known bioinformatics approach, a local alignment approach, to detect a region of similar code with an adaptive scoring matrix. The asymmetric code similarity based on the local alignment can be considered as one of the main contribution of this paper. The phylogenetic tree or evolution tree of source codes can be reconstructed using this asymmetric measure. To show the effectiveness and efficiency of the phylogeny construction algorithm, we conducted experiments with more than 100 real source codes which were obtained from East-Asia ICPC(International Collegiate Programming Contest). Our experiments showed that the proposed algorithm is quite successful in reconstructing the evolutionary direction, which enables us to identify plagiarized codes more accurately and reliably. Also, the phylogeny construction algorithm is successfully implemented on top of the plagiarism detection system of an automatic program evaluation system.

  • The movement towards sustainable building design can result in unique fire protection challenges and concerns, especially with super tall buildings in relationship to traditional prescriptive code compliance. Different countries haves different code requirements as well as local best practices and may cause conflict with the design features when designing green buildings. These include, but not limited to green roofs, sprinkler water quality and testing, fire department access and areas of refuge with direct or indirect impact by the perspective code compliance. The solutions to these prescriptive code challenges and fire safety concerns can range from simple alternatives to more detailed engineering performance-based design analyses with good solid practice.

  • An approach for composing a performance optimized computational code is suggested for the latest microprocessors. The concept of the code optimization, termed localization, is maximizing the utilization of the second level cache that is common to all the latest computer systems, and minimizing the access to system main memory. In this study, the localized optimization of the LU-SGS (Lower-Upper Symmetric Gauss-Seidel) code for the solution of fluid dynamic equations was carried out in three different levels and tested for several different microprocessor architectures widely used these days. The test results of localized optimization showed a remarkable performance gain of more than two times faster solution than the baseline algorithm for producing exactly the same solution on the same computer system.

  • In this paper, provisions related with the seismic design and equipments of fire protection system are being considered. The provisions from various international codes on seismic design fire protection system were reviewed. The codes, reviewed are, Japanese code, NFPA guideline and Korean code. It is noted that all the codes excepted to korean code consider earthquake effect to evaluate seismic forces and behaviors. But, korean provision are not covered in seismic response in all. A brief description on limitations in korean code is also presented.

  • Reliability analysis for a proposed limit state bridge design code is performed. In order to introduce reliability concept to design code, the proposed live load model is based on truck weight survey. Test data of domestic material strengths are collected to model statistical properties of member strengths. Sample RC and PSC girder sections are designed following the safety factor format of the proposed code and compared with the current design practice. Reliability indexes are calculated and examined for material and member resistance factor formats and sample calibrations of safety factors are presented. It is concluded that the proposed code provides reasonable level of reliability compared to the international design standards.

  • A hybrid mesh based finite volume compressible flow code (PolySim) has been developed recently. Instead of the simple average method for the gradients of variables at each face, the volume average is applied for the calculation of the viscous flux. What is more, an improved Green Gauss method for the calculation of the gradient is also presented. These two techniques will improve both the accuracy and robustness of the code. The aerodynamic performance of this in-house cell centered code is examined by several widely-used bench-mark test cases. These cases include flows over flat plate and RAE 2822 etc. The comparisons on results between calculation and experiment are conducted. They show that the code can produce good numerical results which agree well with the corresponding experiment data.
