  • After approval, the drug should be manufactured and maintained with uniform quality. To assure the quality of drugs, the drug companies should comply with GMP guidelines and regulatory authorities should assess their compliance. In this article, I want to review the definition of drugs as well as the quality surveillance system. To be controlled as drugs, they ought to have their own specifications and test methods. • The International System for Education and Qualification of Welding Personnel has been implemented based on the harmonized European System for education and qualification of welding personnel. This paper gives an overview of the International System focusing on the training guidelines and the quality assurance system developed. Systems for harmonization of Certification of Welding Personnel and for supporting companies using welding to implement ISO 3834 have been developed by EWF and are presently being transferred to IIW in line with the EWF/IIW agreement established in 2000.

  • The service industry has been acknowledged as a critical part of mobile banking services in recent years. This study examines the impact of e-service quality and loyalty on the intention to use and use behavior of mobile banking services in Mongolia, a Central Asian country. As a result, based on past research, a conceptual model was suggested. This study comprises 209 completed questionnaires from young Mongolians who own a bank account and a smartphone. The data was collected based on convenience sampling, and it was analyzed with SmartPLS software using a partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings indicate that system quality, interface design, and security assurance have a significant positive impact on service quality; service quality has a positive impact on loyalty. Moreover, the results reveal that service quality and loyalty have a significant influence on the intention to use mobile banking services. The findings of this study suggest that local or international banks and financial institutions in Mongolia should consider system quality, interface design, and security concerns as key successors to building perceived security quality to retain current mobile banking users and attract new customers.

  • Service quality is still a new concept to those who works in shipping lines services since it has not been identified as a mandatory factor to increase competitiveness. Most carriers are currently offering services at the same level of price, transit time, equipment, etc. Thus offering a high quality service is the best way for a carrier to differentiate itself from its competitors in the market. The research aims to conduct an assessment on service quality at Wan Hai Lines (WHL) outbound services based on the SERVQUAL model, form of dimension-by-dimension analysis. This study was based on a survey of 135 people. The outcome is the service quality of WHL outbound services can be identified by three dimension(s): Empathy and Responsiveness, Assurance, and Reliability. It would help management to have an overall picture about the current service quality, and to find solutions to improve service quality following the recommendations. WHL managers need to recognize that "Reliability" has the strongest influence on customers' expectations, then come "Empathy and Responsiveness" and "Assurance". Therefore, board of managers should spend time looking carefully at each of the three dimensions, especially for the biggest gap between perceptions and expectations of three dimensions as well. Then the recommendations were raised.

  • 3-dimensional information for anatomic stucture plays a role as integral part in clinical aspect of dental practice. CBCT(cone beam computed tomography) has been accepted as useful diagnostic tool offering Volume data and images for evaluating teeth and jaws in lower radiation dose than conventional CT. CBCT equipment is essential for the quality assurance of it to ensure continued satisfactory performance and result of adequate images. Dental practitioner and oral and maxillofacial radiologist should have a responsibility and critical thinking to deliver this technology to patients in a responsible way, so that diaganostic value is maximised and radiation doses kept as low as resonably achievable. CBCT imaging modality should be used only after a review of the patient's health and imaging history and the completion of a thorough clinical examination. Clinical guidelines are systematically developed statements to assist practitioner and patient decisions about appropriate health care for specific clinical circumstances Dental practitioners should prescribe CBCT imaging only when they expect that the diagnostic yield will benefit patient care, enhance patient safety or improve clinical outcomes significantly. Knowledge of patient dose is essential for clinicians who are making the decision regarding the justification of the exposure. There are some limitation in the measurement of patient dose in CBCT for the approval and adaptation of conventinal methodolgy in CT. It is also important to ensure that doses are optimised and in line with any national and international guidelines. The higher radiation doses of CBCT compared with conventional radiography, mean that high standards must be maintained. The Quality Assurance(QA) programme should entail surveys and checks that are performed according to a regular timetable. QA programme should be maintained by staff to ensure adherence to the programme and to raise its importance among staff.

  • The claim that the quality assurance measures towards teacher education institutions tend to be deviated from its original purposes has been raised among international scholars, especially in those countries where prospective teachers are oversupplied. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of evaluation systems of teacher's colleges in South Korea and China from a comparative perspective. Based on six areas such as evaluation authority, purposes, cycle, criteria, methods, result utilization, we describe current practices to draw similarities and differences of the two systems. The analyses revealed remarkable similarities despite the slight differences. First, the evaluation was deviated from the quality assurance and support of the teacher's colleges. Second, the evaluation focused on supervision of the institutions and control of quantitative aspects of teacher's colleges instead of quality assurance. Based on the findings, we suggested some policy recommendations to recover the original purposes and functions of teacher education institutional evaluations in South Korea and China.

  • This study focuses on the issue of improving safety management of elevators. The role of certification and supervision in reducing the associated accidents is specifically addressed. The results of simple statistical analysis suggests that a certification procedure emphasizing the quality assurance during manufacturing and supervision during assembly and installation of elevators are needed and can be effective in minimizing the associated accidents.

  • The assurance of software product. which Is different to other products. is very complex because of Its characteristics. The use of objective development standards or guidelines and the confirmation to meet user's requirements are Important to achieve the software quality system. Moreover correct understanding of qualitv standards and continuous applications of check-points for qualify audit are necessary. ISO 9000 series. which are International standards. were made for the qualify assurance. Among them. ISO 9000-3 is the quality management and quality assurance standards for applying ISO 9001 to the design. development. supply. installation and maintenance of software. The newly revised ISO/CD 9000-3:1995 contains a lot of enforced changes within ISO 9001 framework - quality standards for manufactured products. This paper analyses the revised ISO 9000-3 by comparing it to ISO 9001. and derives quality audit points to use for qualify audit In future.

  • The endeavor of this paper focuses on designing a monitoring system to provide a cost-effective solution on quality assurance for construction projects. The construction site monitoring system integrates a long-range wireless network, network cameras, and a web-based collaborative platform. The users of the system could obtain the most updated status of construction sites, such as behaviors of workers, project progress, and site events anywhere with Internet connectivity. It was carefully configured in order to maintain the reliability under the reactive conditions of the construction sites. This paper reports the architecture of the monitoring system and reviews the related technologies. The system has been implemented and tested on a construction site and promising results were obtained.
