This study is to investigate the relationships between R&D collaboration and competitive advantage in Korean international venture firms from the perspective of resource-based theory, organizational learning and network theory. The R&D collaboration is divided into vertical cooperation within the value chain and horizontal cooperation beyond value chain. The first key finding from empirical analysis is that both vertical and horizontal R&D collaborations have significantly positive impacts on technology based competitive advantages. The vertical R&D collaboration has more impacts on competitive advantages than horizontal R&D collaboration. This suggests that R&D collaboration with purchasers and suppliers plays a greater role for venture organizations' competitiveness. Second, the potential knowledge based absorption capacity and mutual goodwill trust also work significantly to reinforce the positive influences of R&D collaboration to the competitive advantage. This implies that mutual trust between partners participating in collaboration and absorption capacity within venture organizations would strengthen the effectiveness of R&D cooperation. This study provides the practical implications that the performance and effectiveness of R&D collaboration may rely on the nature of cooperation partners and internal organization capability.

The pilot GOBT program was carried out from November 17th - December 17th 2021 at KIMFT; self-isolation for 10 days, Basic Safety Training(BST) for 5 days and 2 weeks of on-board training(OBT) were conducted during the period. Total 20 cadets from 5 different Countries were participated under the financial support of IMO ITCP and Korean ODA program. The program aims to provide capacity-building courses focusing on on-board training and assisting future maritime officers in meeting the minimum standard of seagoing experience in accordance with the STCW Convention. In the meantime, the program itself can serve as a platform to share best practices of how the training including the curriculum can be organized on specialized training vessels. The questionnaire survey was carried out to evaluate the GOBT program, and the overall average score was 96.4 points which seems that the cadets were very satisfied with the Global On-Board Training program provided by KIMFT in 2021.

This paper attempts to assess the Basel Committee's bank supervisory standards and capital adequacy rules, and thereby rethink whether global convergence in banking regulation is desirable. To that end, it seeks to address the impetus for the creation of the Basel Committee, and explore driving forces behind the internationalization of bank regulatory and supervisory standards. Following the historical and theoretical analysis of the internationalization of bank regulatory standards, the movement toward global standards in banking is reviewed. More importantly, this paper seeks to explore the origins of the Basel Accord on bank capital adequacy. To do so, it largely relies on current theories on the process of negotiating the capital adequacy standards in the areas of political science and international political economy. At this point, this study takes a position as a break against the force of international market failure logic that has enjoyed an exceptionally positive reception among economists, political scientists, and legal experts. Nonetheless, it does not intend to freeze the international coordination and cooperation of banking regulation. Given the understanding of the politics behind the creation of the Basel Accord, this paper evaluates the Basel Accord of 1988 and the new capital adequacy framework(Basel II), and then moves beyond the assessment of the capital adequacy standards In doing so, this study draws lessons from Basel in search of a just world order in the global finance.

On February 18, 2019, the Chinese government officially released the Outline of the Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which will lead the country in a new round of reform and opening-up. The Greater Bay Area will become a dynamic world-class city cluster, an international scientific and technological innovation center with global influence, an important support for the development of the "One Belt And One Road", a demonstration area for in-depth cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao, and a high-quality living area for living, working and traveling. Non-Pearl River Delta(Non-PRD) cities in Guangdong Province are adjacent to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, so it is of practical significance to promote the high-quality development of urban tourism from an international perspective. Based on the panel data released in Guangdong Yearbook 2019, this paper uses the envelopment data analysis (DEA) method to explore ways to promote the high-quality tourism development of Non-PRD cities in Guangdong Province based on the perspective of international development.

It is childhood yet in uTradeHub system practical use. According as company's necessity of cost-saving is increased according to trade terms aggravation such as uncertainty of international money market, commodities prices rise, necessity of e-trade practical use in company is increased. Use is inevitable by state that link with e-Nego and e-B/L service with related presentation e-L/C banks is not made. At the present users are doing specification only service this main point, and practical use activation through public information and marketing about service is needed situation because most of, companies which is not using service, do not know about existence availability of uTradeHub system, usage, availability. This study presented five such as early materialization of user center's link and integration, medium and small enterprises e-trade participation extension, utilization ratio raising through government's public information, e-trade cooperation business activation between the country, electronic documents standardization etc. by prompting competition about practical use of uTradeHub system.

Notwithstanding Korea and P. R.China are located in the neighborhood each other geographically, the break of diplomatic relations of them continued a long term, and the difference of ideology and social structure of two countries was acting as a barrier to understand each other in many fields. Two countries established formal diplomatic relation in 1992, and then the interchange and mutual cooperation between both countries are being performed rapidly, but the field of fisheries education and research system is continuing in the early stage yet. It can be easily expected that the interchange and mutual cooperation in the field of fisheries through the ocean contribute not only to the international friendship, but to the rational management of fisheries resources. In accordence with the necessity mentioned above, the author considered the general situation of fisheries education and research system in P. R. China. P. R. China runs two kinds of fisheries education system which are regular and irregular system. The regular education system is the principal means of cultivating fisheries scientists and technicians. And there are three grade levels in regular education : the tasks of which are undertaken by the fisheries universities, fisheries colleges and fisheries high schools. Adult education system in fisheries are of the following types : fishery cadet training courses, evening schools, correspondence courses and broadcasting or TV programs. The fisheries research in P. R. China is undertaken by the research institutes under the Bureau of Aquatic Products, and the basic research of oceanography is undertaken by the oceanographic institutes under the Chinese Academy of Science.

This study analyzes the business strategy of fast fashion through Zara, a successful fashion brand from Inditex Spain. An in-depth case approach is adopted based on extensive secondary research that includes literature and press releases published in Korean as well as English. The findings of this research demonstrate a speedy and flexible process occurring in the supply chain of its fast fashion business and the cooperation between the company's headquarters and international subsidiaries. Zara's headquarters executes four representative strategies: competitive market research, an integrated organizational structure, small quantity batch production, and a specialized distribution system. Zara's international subsidiaries execute their own four representative strategies: differentiated international expansion, independent human resource management, small but fundamental IT, and maximization of store resources. These two core parts intimately work together to satisfy target customers all over the world by bringing competitive advantages to the fashion business and represent a key concept of Zara's business strategy. The main drawbacks of case studies are limited validity and representativeness restraining the potential for making generalizations. However this case is considered sufficient to provide valuable insight and improve the understanding of operation strategy in fast fashion.

Aims: We have examined and analyzed trends of acupuncture related patents to understand the status of acupuncture technology and research trends of acupuncture in major countries including Korea, the United States, European Union and Japan. Methods: To analyze the patents, we searched and analyzed the total of 1,048 on-line DB based patents under time limit of July, 2006. Results: According to the search results, Korea is mostly superior compared to the others in number of domestic patents. However, Korea patents is inferior in number of international patents and leave much to be desired in industrial applications because of low patents barrier of personal patents and the absence of prospective clients. In addition, in this study, we show an index of international competitiveness and preliminary data of necessity of international cooperation in a field of acupuncture researches. Conclusion: These data suggest that Korea has strong possibility to recover competitiveness for guaranteeing valuable patents, if there are international cooperation and intensive managements of industries in advanced country markets.

At present, the underlying impact of the international financial crisis, the protracted, arduous and complicated nature of the world economic recovery is manifesting itself, and the global economic structure and trade layout face in-depth readjustment. China will make new adjustments to its foreign trade, in an effort to turn foreign trade from scale expansion to quality and profit improvement, and from mainly relying on its low-cost advantage to enhancing its comprehensive competitive edge, thereby turning China from a big trading country to a strong trading power. China's foreign trade is still hampered by many uncertainties and is bound to meet new difficulties and challenges. During the 12th Five-year Plan period China will open itself wider to the outside world as a driver for further reform, development and innovation, make full use of its advantages, strengthen international cooperation in all respects. And at the same time China integrate itself into the world economy on a wider scale and at a higher level. China is willing to work with its trading partners to cope with the various challenges facing the world economy and trade, and promote its foreign trade to realize a more balanced, coordinated and sustainable development, and share prosperity and mutually beneficial results with its trading partners.

Recently, it's increasing to use the applied technology related to the quantitative and qualitative growth of industry area. One of them is software to be used in industry area, and software is the most important part in using the industrial equipments. Therefore, the quality of software in the industrial devices determines the performance of the devices. At this time, it's inspired an evaluation and measurement of software quality to have within industrial equipment, and it's forming the research and development in domestic and foreign. In this paper, we constructed evaluation metrics based on ISO/IEC 12119, the International Standard for the general requirements of software and ISO/IEC 9126-2, the International Standard for the evaluation of software qualify characteristics and sub-characteritics, and for this accomplishment, It has been designed and developed industrial software international standard compatible approval system which approve a quality based on quality test result of industrial software using the ISO/IEC 14598-6 that international standard for organization of evaluation module.
