The introduction to this study of the technology for contemporary Architecture give us the opportunity to state what we consider to be the two essentials to adopt as guiding principle behind the current debate on Architecture and Technology. Technology dealing with scientific and industrial methods and their practical use in practical science for the human being. There are several aspects of the application of technology in Architecture. This study analyzed the formal expression of Technology in Korean-contemporary Architecture by the actual expreimentatiov. Therefore a study of Technology is essential in order to find potential possibility of Korean Achitecture and Interior Desigv.

The optimization of the production of a fusion protein containing the antigenic domain 1 (AD-1) is of a great importance, considering its use in diagnostic tests. The fusion protein is produced by the fermentation of a recombinant strain of Escherichia coli containing the plasmid Mbg58, which expresses the AD-1 (aa 484-650) of human cytomegalovirus glycoprotein B as a fusion protein together with aa 1-375 of ${\beta}-galactosidase$. An important characteristic of promoters (lac and derivatives) used in recombinant protein production in E. coli is their inducibility. Induction by IPTG is widely used for basic research; however, its use in large-scale production is undesirable because of its high cost and toxicity. In this work, studies using different inducers and carbon sources for the production of a fusion protein containing the AD-l were performed. The results showed that lactose could be used as an inducer in the fermentation process for the production of this protein, and that expression levels could exceed those achieved with IPTG. The use of lactose for protein expression in E. coli should be extremely useful for the inexpensive, large-scale production of heterologous proteins in E. coli. Addition of sucrose to the fermentation medium improved the yield of recombinant protein, whereas addition of fructose or trehalose decreased the yield.

This study investigates and analyzes Catholic cultural traits in Gaudi's architectural designs on the assumption that the cultural identity of Spain has been built heavily on Catholic cultural tradition. Through examining thoroughly six residential buildings Gaudi designed, Catholic cultural traits were found in their interior ornaments, space formation, and expression of form. This study shows, first, that by making good use of interior ornaments, Gaudi sought to Catholic cultural uniformity among buildings that have different cultural characteristics. Second, with regard to space formation, he tended to build a chapel or an oratory inside structures which encouraged residents to worship in their home. Also, as for expression of form, his designs, expressing Catholic cultural features in various ways, succeeded to form visual uniformity among buildings and structures with a variety of styles. Lastly, by using properly Catholic cultural elements explained above and making those traits easily recognized even from a long distance, his architectural works represent very well the importance of Catholic culture as a foundation of Spain culture.

Current architecture can receive support of and command various ways of expression by more advanced technology of the present time, this means the formation of changeable external design of building, and has the tendency to be interactive non-rheological shape. Accordingly surface of building is decorated not only by the basic function and the expression of information, but also by complex narrative image structure or text, so far as recognizes human as the subject of communication, and is trying the artistic expression interacting with the general public. In various expressive tendency of current architecture surface design, such an approach from a view of an interactive art trying the communication between architecture, art, and human has the meaning of suggesting the direction of directing emotional architecture giving a present to the morderners who are growing more and more an earnest desire for experiencing culture and art in their daily life.

Skin Architecture', which has been an important topic of architectural discourse in the recent past, is playing an even greater role in the design expression of architectural materials nowadays. The purpose of this study is to define the epidermal conception about material matter and to discover the various modes of visual effect in the use of architectural materials.Epidermal thought is expressed in different forms, ranging from a simple covering made up of materials of all kinds , removable or technological wrappings. Analyzing the recent experiments from the works of Bernard chumi, Herzog & de Meuron, Peter Zumthor, Gigon & Guyer , it can be argued that the skin is a good emotional approach in the design expression of architectural material matter as epidermal concept since the 1980's.

Today, brands are transforming into a strategic structure which emphasize brand image more so that the product itself, and the brand identify that factors in personal preference and taste assume important positions. In particular, space where brand identify is factored in is increasingly in importance these days, which means that it is no longer about selling products themselves, but selling brand image. Accordingly, it is necessary to approach in a strategic manner when it comes to the space that factor in brand value in terms of selling brand image. Accordingly, this research examines the relationship between brand identity and space components through the space in coffee shops where brand identity is applied, to identify how indoor expression trend is utilized.

A church architecture which has an important meaning as a place which is for worship God, relationship, education, evangelism, service and formative meaning that express as a specific form. It has been changed by age or changes of theology, also its structure and form has been changed so as to change of a rutual. the church architecture that has been authorized as a architecture which is a representation of the age does not represent the age and it has weaknesses for expression of unique identification church has. Also, because it is lacking thoughts about regional viewpoint, it loses the characteristic of regional "landmark" like the past. In addition, a place of worship has been changed materiality of space like auditorium or seats so as to change of consciousness of worship, and it is exposed problems of expression of identification. Therefore the church architecture of twenty first centry needs to holy and be able to deliver their new standards and needs that fit original purpose of church for users.

In modem days when architectural materials have grave impacts on overall design expression, materials for architecture, especially finishing materials have become the most essential elements for the design expression, as architectural space and form have been. This study closely verifies the concept of tensity analyzed in preceding studies by quantifying it through experimentation and questionnaire, and suggests possible alternatives which verified concept of tensity applies into the architectural design. It was examined how architects consider the finishing materials through a questionnaire. With a questionnaire, the possibility of quantificative analysis for tensity is evaluated by SPSS program. Moreover, a questionnaire about the social image that the architectural finishing materials have was also conducted. This questionnaire results In the actual methods to apply quantificated psychological tensity and social images into the architectural design and recommends better plan to select finishing materials for each spacial function and usage, Due to the great influence of social images in design expression, the application mechanism of the tensity should follow the general and individual principles together. With the tensity figure and application of social images we can find more resonable method for material selection.

The interest in natural environment as a new living culture is turning to the programs that give us direct experience rather than indirect one. This change demands new sort of analysis on space in order to design hotel lobby space which satisfies contemporarians' emotion. Hereupon, this article has its purpose of studying the characteristics of environment-friendly expression as a means to approach to the space design of hotel lobby space in which men and nature can coexist and men can be richer in their emotion. Moreover, through the flow and types of environment-friendly design, this study intends to emphasize the importance of introducing natural factors and suggest the possibility of diversification in environment-friendly expression.
