Recently, According to increasing interest to original sound Karaoke instrument, MIDI type karaoke manufacturer attempt to make more cheap method instead of original recoding method. The specific method is to make the original sound accompaniment to remove only the voice of the singer in the singer music album. In this paper, a system to separate vocal components from music accompaniment for stereo recordings were proposed. Proposed system consists of two stages. The first stage is a vocal detection. This stage classifies an input into vocal and non vocal portions by using SVM with MFCC. In the second stage, selective frequency subtractions were performed at each frequency bin in vocal portions. Listening test with removed vocal music from proposed system show relatively high satisfactory level.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between body image, weight-control self-efficacy, and body mass index of high-school girls. Methods: Body image, gender role identity, weight-control self-efficacy, and body weight control behavior were measured by structured questionnaires. Date were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the t-test, the one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation, using the SPSS program. Results: Body weight control behavior was positively correlated with weight-control self-efficacy and objective body mass index. Body weight control behavior showed significant differences according to the interest in weight control, current weight control effort, reasons for weight control, secret method for weight loss, eating breakfast or not, and the amount of time exposed to mass media. In regard to the body weight control behavior according to the gender role identity type, the androgynous showed significantly higher tendency than other types. Conclusion: These findings suggest that health providers need to educate high-school girls about appropriate body image and weight control behavior. Also, more studies are needed to identify factors influencing weight control behavior.

As production, distribution, consumption and processing increase with the development of industrial societies, the importance of resource depletion and environmental problems is increasing day by day. This has led to increased research and interest in remanufacturing that can satisfy both environmental and economic aspects. Currently, the remanufacturing industry is progressed in Korea with automobile parts with as the central figure, and it needs to be expanded into various areas. In this study, the failure type analysis and FMEA were performed on the hydraulic pumps used in construction and industrial sites for the development of the standard remanufacturing process plan, and the actual disassembly and reassembly process was carried out. Remanufacturing products were manufactured through the analysis contents and drawing process, performance tests were conducted in accordance with RS B1501 criteria to evaluate performance, and all of these products passed the test criteria.

In this paper, we developed how to create MR from AR, recorded in stereo, by using the energy difference in the frequency domain and how to implement in DSP(TMS320C6713) were developed. At the output of the DSP board, 6-channel audio output interface designed for real-time stereophonic generating original sound, vocals removed MR, and separated vocals simultaneously. Real-time listening test using DSP show vocal separating and removal task successfully.

The purpose of this study was to compare clothing attitude and clothing purchase behavior of two age groups of adult men,- college students and middle aged. Four aspects of clothing attitude (fashion interest, status symbol, conformity, practicality/comfort) were assessed with 20 Likert type questionnaires adapted from the previous researches. Four aspects of purchase behavior(information sources used, store patronage, importance of store attributes, clothing selection creteria for occasions) were measured with forced choice questionnaire developed or adapted from previous researches. The questionnaire were administrated to 512 male college students and middle aged men. The data were analysed using frequency, percentage, and t-test. The major findings drawn from this study were as follows : 1. Clothing comfort among four aspects of clothing attitude according to the age group was that middle-aged men showed higher conformity than college students. 2. For the information source for apparel purchase, college students used consumer dominated information source while middle-aged men used market dominated information source. 3. For apparel purchase, students preferred brand franchise store, and factory outlet/off-price store, while middle-aged preferred department store and custom-made. Among six store attributes, convenience and price were the most important attributes to the students, while convenience and high quality to the middle aged. 4. The most important clothing selection creteria for formal occasion (job interview, wedding ceremony) was dignity. Comfort/practicality were important creteria for both of leisure occasion and daily attendance (office, school).

Experiments and the parametric based on finite element model were conducted to investigate the behavior and strength of a gussettube connection concerned with eccentricity and selenderness ratio. Because of limitations in loading capacity the specimens were fabricated with 1/3 scale of full size. Of primary interest here are the ultimate strength of connections having eccentricity caused by lateral loads. As a result the effect of eccentricity on the buckling strength was examined and the validity of the finite element model adopted in this study was verified through comparing with test results.

In this paper, Cu-metal was tested by using of erosion apparatus with water-jet type and was investigated under the behaviour of impingement erosion-corrosion according to various environmental conditions, and the properties of Cu-metal were evaluated through the measurement by weight loss, weight loss rate, protective efficiency. The results were compared with those obtained using Cu-metal applied to cathodic protection and Cu-alloys added to Zn or Al-metal. As a basis of those results, the best protective efficiencies could be taken as using cathodic protection method and Cu-alloy with Al & Zn material addings, and will be suggested as the fundamental data of the anti-impingement erosion-corrosion on Cu-metal of impeller material for oceanic centrifugal pump.

The automotive industry is showing widespread interest in belt-driven electric motor-assisted (e-Assist) systems. A belt-driven assist system (BAS) starts and assists the combustion engine in place of the conventional generator. In this study, a water-cooled wound rotor synchronous motor (WRSM) for the e-Assist system was designed and analyzed. The performance of the WRSM was compared with that of an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM). The WRSM efficiency can be improved for the BAS by adjusting the field flux at high speeds. The field current map to obtain the maximum efficiency based on the speed and torque was developed. To control the field flux via field current control in the WRSM, a general H-bridge circuit was added to the WRSM inverter to get the rapid current response in the high-speed region; the characteristics were compared with the chopper circuit. A WRSM developed for the belt-driven e-Assist system and a prototype 115 V power electronic converter to drive the WRSM were tested with a 900 cc combustion engine. The test results showed that the WRSM-type e-Assist system had good characteristics and could successfully start and assist the 900 cc combustion engine.

Recent national attention on English conversation continued, smartphone game has emerged into the mainstream of game industry. In this study, smartphone serious game that combines english conversation learning and smartphone game for learning english conversation was designed and implemented. English sentence patterns separated words, phrases, and sentences was able to learn step-by-step and repeatedly. Also, Throughout the game of different type by stage was to provide interested. Test results were discovered the problem not causing continuous user interest. To compensate for this, study of a game changes element and difficulty adjusting will be followed.
