Applying Ismailov and Rossi (2018), I newly construct the Korea FX uncertainty based on the density distribution of historical forecast errors. This uncertainty index properly captures the rare but significant events in the Korean currency market and provides information distinct from other uncertainty measures in recent studies. I show that 1) FX uncertainty arising from unexpected depreciation has a stronger impact on Korea-U.S. exchange rates and that 2) macro variables, such as capital flows or interest rate differentials, have predictive ability regarding Korea FX uncertainty for short horizons. These findings enable us to predict the events of sudden currency crashes and understand the Korea-U.S. exchange rate dynamics.
Gardens are known to provide relaxation, including psychological stability and mental rest. Recently, social interest in gardens has been growing in various ways, including the increase of groups sensitive to environmental pollution and a rising interest in the overall management of natural resources. In reality, however, the owners of housing gardens lack fundamental knowledge for creating and maintaining the gardens, directly and indirectly. This limitation presents a number of problems and challenges. Therefore, this study conducted an analysis of various aspects relating to the creation and maintenance of housing gardens, reflecting the sense of ownership. The study aimed to examine the current status, and based on this, it was intended to present improvement measures for practical and efficient creation of housing gardens and their maintenance in the future.
Purpose: This study uses 'Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model' to predict the impact of a sharp drop in the base rate due to COVID-19 at the present time when government policies for stabilizing house prices are in progress. The purpose of this study is to predict implications for the direction of the government's house policy by predicting changes in house transaction prices and house rental prices after a sharp cut in the base rate. Research design, data, and methodology: The ARIMA intervention model can build a model without additional information with just one time series. Therefore, it is a time-series analysis method frequently used for short-term prediction. After the subprime mortgage, which had shocked since the global financial crisis in April 2007, the bank's interest rate in 2020 is set at a time point close to zero at 0.75%. After that, the model was estimated using the interest rate fluctuations for the Bank of Korea base interest rate, the house transaction price index, and the house rental price index as event variables. Results: In predicting the change in house transaction price due to interest rate intervention, the house transaction price index due to the fall in interest rates was predicted to change after 3 months. As a result, it was 102.47 in April 2020, 102.87 in May 2020, and 103.21 in June 2020. It was expected to rise in the short term. In forecasting the change in house rental price due to interest rate intervention, the house rental price index due to the drop in interest rate was predicted to change after 3 months. As a result, it was 97.76 in April 2020, 97.85 in May 2020, and 97.97 in June 2020. It was expected to rise in the short term. Conclusions: If low interest rates continue to stimulate the contracted economy caused by COVID-19, it seems that there is ample room for house transaction and rental prices to rise amid low growth. Therefore, In order to stabilize the house price due to the low interest rate situation, it is considered that additional measures are needed to suppress speculative demand.
In this paper I tried quantitative measures of the rent-seeking for budgetary allocations in Korean fisheries. There is a great deal of ignorance about the level of rent-seeking that takes place as a consequence of government expenditures and the potential for influencing their allocation, and so the attempt by Kats and Rosenberg(1989) to measure this in terms of the extent of annual changes in these allocations was a significant step forward. The opportunity to concentrate net public expenditure benefits within the fiscal function of the state gives rise to rent-seeking by special interest taxpayer-citizens through government budget allocations, special interest groups and coalitions of special interest groups. There are several important implications of budgetary rent-seeking. Budgetary rent-seeking is composed of 'income' and substitution effects, the budgetary 'income' effect is the general increase in government expenditures from one period to another. According to result of this analysis, average expenditures were 17.0% of total fisheries budget in 1966-2005. Therefore, distribution of fisheries budget should be converted by indirect support systems to reduce these rent-seeking behaviors.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of domestic research ethics and to draw implications for the limitations of existing research and future development directions through this. Research design, data and methodology: To this end, this study first examined the concept of research ethics and research area to derive an analysis frame. In addition, 72 academic papers published in domestic journals from 2000 to November 2020 were analyzed according to the research period, research area, research subject, research field, research method, and the nature of the journal. Results: As a result of the analysis, it is judged that social interest in research ethics led to academic interest after the 2005 Hwang Woo-seok incident. These characteristics show that the interest of academia is changing and increasing significantly when issues related to research ethics are raised socially. Of the 72 papers to be analyzed, 29 (40.3%) conceptual and theoretical studies on research ethics and 43 (59.7%) studies on practical measures were surveyed. Conclusions: In the case of published journals on research ethics, the proportion of publications in humanities and social sciences and pedagogical journals was high, and in research methods, literature and theoretical studies were the highest.

There has been a massive increase in household debt in China, especially in the last five of years. Learning from past experiences, the country needs careful forecasting that may help to form new policies or make amendments to the existing ones. This research paper aims to highlight the impact of the monetary policy on household debt in China. The study covers the time period from 1996 to 2020 The study employs a cointegration test, Autoregressive Distributed Lag Bound Test (ARDL) approach, a Augmented Dicky Fuller (ADF) and PP test (PMG) and time series data. The findings suggest on a quantitative analysis using a time-series model in which gdp per capita and interest rate has a positive impact on household debt whereas, cpi doesn't have significant impact. In a short-term variables relationship, household debt responds more to an increase in income than in the long-term. Also, the impact of interest rate changes on household debt is lower than income in the short run.The research suggests that there should be some restrictions on household debt and consumer financing provided to citizens and for this, appropriate leverage measures should be taken in order for the central bank to sustain robust macroeconomic conditions.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between Perception of self anp Clothing Interest, and to determine the difference of Clothing interest and Perception of self by the demographic variables. Perception of self was measured with Perception of self test from Choi's Perceptual Orientation Scale. Appearance, Clothing comfort, Fashion, Psychological dependence, Clothing economics were measured with items from Gurel's Study and Creekmore's for method of measuring clothing variables, items were drawn from preceding measures and, slightly modified. Data were affected from 305 purposively selectee! elderly women over sixty dwelling in Seoul by means of interview and questionnaire. For statistical analyses, frequency distribution, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple Range test, Pearson's Correlation coefficients were used. The results were as follows; 1. The three groups classified, by Perception of self were Positively Correlated to Appearance, Fashion and Psychological dependence. 2. There was partially significant difference between clothing interest and demographic variables. Education and socioeconomic status affected Psychological dependence. Demographic variables not affected Clothing comfort. 3. There was partially significant difference between Perception of self and demographic variables. Age, education, marital status and socioeconomic status affected Perception of Self. 4. There was partially significant relationships among subscales of the Clothing interest. Appearance was positively correlated to clothing comfort, Fashion and Psychological dependence, clothing comfort was positively correlated to Appearance, Psychological dependence. Fashion was positively correlated to Appearance, Clothing comfort and, Psychological dependence.
Consumers' need for uniqueness reflects individual differences in counterconformity and related to the attitude toward brands as well as purchase behavior. To understand the relationship between consumer's personal characteristics and purchase behavior, the study investigated the effect of consumers' need for uniqueness and clothing interest on the brand consciousness, loyalty and purchase intention. Survey was utilized to collect the data and subjects were 271 college students. Measures consisted of five main constructs: Consumer's need for uniqueness, clothing interest, brand consciousness, brand loyalty, and purchase intention. The measurement and structural models were evaluated using PRELIS 2 and LISREL 8.53. Consumer's need for uniqueness was confirmed to have three constructs: creative, unpopular, and avoidance. The researcher tested Model 1 and developed five other models-Models 2 through 6-based on the results from Model 1 evaluation. The additional Models 2 through 6 were nested in Model 1. To select a best model, the researcher compared the value of chi-square, RMSEA, GFI, AIC, and ECVI. Since Model 6 also illustrated conceptually or theoretically reasonable relationships among constructs as well, it was finally selected as a best model. In the Model 6, the creative dimension of consumer's need for uniqueness had a negative relationship with brand loyalty, while the avoidance dimension of consumer's need for uniqueness had positive relationship. The unpopular dimension of consumer's need for uniqueness and clothing interest had significant positive effects on the brand consciousness. The brand consciousness was significantly related to brand loyalty and brand loyalty to purchase intention.

Spatial data are usually obtained at selected locations even though they are potentially available at all locations in a continuous region. Moreover the monitoring locations are clustered in some regions, sparse in other regions. One important goal of spatial data analysis is to predict unknown response values at any location throughout a region of interest. Thus, an appropriate space model should be set up and their estimates and predictions must be accompanied by measures of uncertainty. In this study we see that a space model proposed allows a best interpolation to annual rainfall data in South Korea.
