  • The current Metaverse phenomenon, a collective virtual shared space, has drawn attention to Metaverse marketing in the fashion industry. Metaverse fashion marketing refers to the promotion and sale of fashion products and experiences within this virtual environment, which simulates real-world experiences. This study conducted an online survey to identify research problems empirically. The study subjects were surveyed by domestic male and female consumers aged 35.69 on average, and the authors conducted an online survey, reminiscent of the fashion brand's virtual reality store presented in the questionnaire. Three hundred copies of the collected response data were analyzed using the SPSS 28.0 program. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that consumer experience factors in the fashion brand's Metaverse virtual reality store environment significantly impacted the intention to visit the actual store. As a result of the study, it was found that consumers' perceived presence in the fashion brand Metaverse virtual reality store had a significant effect on entertainment, esthetic, educational, and escapism experiences. Consumers' perceived social presence influenced entertainment, esthetic, educational, and escapism experiences but did not affect educational experiences. It was confirmed that the consumer experience factors in a fashion brand's Metaverse virtual reality store environment had a significant effect on the actual store visit intention. Through the results of this study, we contributed to the related research stream by empirically analyzing the impact of various dimensions of the Metaverse fashion experience, which needed to be improved so far, on consumers' actual store visit intention.

  • Purpose: In the post-COVID-19, many consumers still feel uncomfortable with crowding in closed spaces. This study investigates how non-crowding affects consumer satisfaction and restaurant visit intention. Research design, data, and methodology: The data were collected from 350 people aged 20 and above. A total of 347 respondents, excluding 3 unfaithful respondents, were analyzed using Smart PLS 4.0 program. Result: Both spatial and human crowding have significant effects on satisfaction. On the other hand, neither spatial nor human crowding directly affected dine-out intention significantly. In addition, spatial crowding was found to have a direct and significant effect on in-store dining intention, but human crowding did not have a direct and significant effect on in-store dining intention. It was found that satisfaction had a significant effect on both dine-out intention and in-store dining intension. Conclusions: This study has expanded the range of consumer behavioral intentions by applying a non-crowded environment (S) to the SOR theory. Also, Consumer behavioral intention was expanded by dividing visit intention into a dine-out and in-store dining intention. Therefore, we propose measures to minimize human crowding by introducing a system such as adjustment of store operating hours, reservation system, store opening time alarm system, and reduction of cooking time.

  • This study aims to prove the connection between satisfaction and re-visit intention of customers by examining shopping value and store image depending on product types purchased at Internet shopping malls. The finding of this study revealed that shopping value could be classified into hedonic and utilitarian value, while store image could be extracted into six dimensions such as reputation, product and information service, customer service after purchase, atmosphere, convenience, and safety. Both search goods and experience goods among store image factors were found to have stronger effect on utilitarian shopping value than hedonic shopping one. In addition, it was found that store image and shopping value had an effect on customer satisfaction and re-visit intention depending on product types, with a significant difference. These findings are expected to provide marketing complications for the understanding of differentiated market segments in the Internet shopping mall market, which is facing ever-growing market.

Although the growth and development of shopping mall in Korea, there are few academic and professional interests. Therefore, adopting expectancy-disconfirmation paradigm, this study examined the constructs of expectation, performance, disconfirmation, satisfaction and re-visit intention of shopping mall and tenant store in each context. The research model also considered the mutual effect of these constructs between shopping mall and tenant store as positing the path between them. Hence, main hypotheses were divided into two different ways from the constructs of shopping mall to tenant store's and vice versa. Then, three hypotheses exploring the direction of customer's evaluation shopping mall and tenant were also included in the research model. From the result of 461 mall-intercept survey, almost hypotheses were supported as expected. In the explorative approach to find direction, the path from disconfirmation of and satisfaction with tenant to disconfirmation of and satisfaction with shopping mall were supported. In addition, the path from satisfaction with shopping mall to re-visit intention of tenant store was also accepted.

  • In this study, the relationship between service quality and visit intention of unmanned cosmetics stores was investigated and whether there was a moderating effect of familiarity. To this end, a total of 190 questionnaires were collected and the main results of frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis using the statistical package SPSS 26.0 are summarized as follows. First, it was found that usefulness, ease, and playfulness, which are components of service quality in unmanned cosmetics stores, had a significant effect on the intention to visit. Second, familiarity was also found to have a significant effect on visit intention, and was found to have the greatest influence on visit intention. Third, as a result of examining the moderating effect of familiarity on the relationship between service quality and visit intention of unmanned cosmetics stores, usefulness, ease, and playfulness were all statistically insignificant, indicating that there was no moderating effect of familiarity. As a result of the above, in order to increase the familiarity, which has the greatest influence on the intention to visit, marketing should be presented emphasizing the promotion or advertisement of unmanned cosmetics stores.

  • With the full liberalization of distribution sector in 1997, both multinational and domestic discount retailers have been competing to gain more market share in Korea. Increased competition among domestic and international retail stores forces marketing academics and practitioners to understand the various factors affecting discount retail store satisfaction and loyalty. This study examines how store image of a retailer influences consumers' attitudes, satisfaction and intention to re visit that store. The data, collected from a sample of 416 customers in Busan, Korea, indicate that store image is exerting positive influences in the formation of attitude, satisfaction. But favorable store image does not have positive impact on the intention to revisit the store. Rather the impact of store image on intention to re visit is mediated by attitudes and satisfaction. And unlike the overall store image, attitudes have positive effect on the formation of consumers' intention to revisit, not mediated by satisfaction. And satisfaction also results in higher possibility of forming intention to revisit that same discount store. Based on these results, we provide theoretical and managerial implications, limitations of this research, and useful directions for future study.

  • Purpose - Generally, the consumer's decision-making process for restaurant selection is simple and familiar. However, online information becomes important because the decision-making process of consumers becomes complicated in new restaurants and special situations. Because consumers can search for information online, information retrieval is now possible in selecting new restaurants. In particular, consumers often make decisions based on online information when making restaurant reservations. Research design, data, and methodology - All items were measured based on previous studies. The data were collected from customers who had visited the store by visiting the web page of the food service franchise within the last 3 months for the panel of the online survey institute. The questionnaires were surveyed from July 2 to July 11, 2018 for about 10 days. A mail and a message were sent to 2,000 people, and 310 people were asked to complete the questionnaire. Total of 303 data were used in the questionnaire, excluding 7 insufficient data. Results - The findings of this study are as follows: Consensus, vividness, and neutrality have positive effects on enjoyment. Consensus have positive effect on anxiety, but vividness and neutrality did not have significant effect on anxiety. Also, enjoyment has a positive influence on intention to visit, and anxiety has a negative influence on visit intention. Conclusions - First, franchise companies online advertising in a variety of ways, but they are mixed with other customers' WOM and offered to consumers. In this case, the information provided by the company may be distorted. Therefore, a restaurant franchise company needs to operate an official online channel to provide accurate information to its customers. Second, it is necessary to make contents so that other customers can participate in online channels of food service franchise companies. Third, food service franchise company should produce enough online contents to experience indirectly even if the customer does not visit the store directly. Fourth, food service franchise company needs to prepare a way for many customers to participate in many official contents.
