The Environmental problem solving model is an instructional strategy to accomplish the aim of environmental education through investigation of environmental problems and issues of the community. This study is intended to compare the instructional effect of the structured model with the unstructured model of environmental problem solving. The experimental group received the structured instruction and the control group received the unstructured instruction. There did not appear to be any significant difference between the groups in regard to knowledge but in regard to knowledge of environmental issues, the experimental group was more effective than the control group. No significant differences existed between the groups in attitude. In regard to investigating skill and evaluation of environmental issues, the experimental group was significantly more effective than the control group. The experimental group was significantly more effective than the control group in regard to environmental action skills. To foster responsible environmental behavior, environmental education a number of methodologies must be considered and learners must be trained to become problem-solving citizens. It was noted that the structured instruction was more effective than the unstructured instruction in middle school where environmental issues were not taught as an independent subject. We conclude that environmental education must be systematically constructed and taught in a manner which takes into account both its goals and the characteristics of the various learners. This research introduces a new method to attenuate flip-over vibration generation in the flat blade windshield wiper by adjusting the contact pressure between the windshield glass and the blade. The knocking force in the flip-over action of the blade is decreased by inducing gradual tilting-over along the rubber strip of the blade. This gradual tilting-over is induced by introducing a non-uniform contact pressure distribution between the blade and windshield glass. The contact pressure distribution is adjusted by controlling the unloaded profile of the body spring in the blade using a procedure proposed in a previous study. Two blades, one blade designed to generate a uniform pressure distribution and the other designed to generate non-uniform pressure distribution, are developed using the procedure. Contact pressure distributions of the developed blades are measured using a special device and compared with the intended distributions confirming the similarities between the two groups. Vertical and lateral vibrations of the two blades are measured under realistic operating condition simulated by a wiper test rig. The vertical vibrations of the blade with non-uniform contact pressure are substantially smaller than corresponding vibrations of the blade with uniform contact pressure over the entire rubber strip.

Marine casualties of vessel are serious problems on social and national aspects, because it results in sacrifice of lives, a great lose of properties and marine pollution. According to recent statistics of marine casualties of vessel, fishing boats are more likely to be ended in the casualty, and especially, small fishing boats cause much more accidents than any other big vessels. Most of marine casualties were caused by the human factors such as poor watch keeping, inadequate manoeuvering and negligent action for engine, etc. This study is intended to provide navigator of small fishing boat with a specific information of necessary to assist both the manoeuvering and the avoidance of capsizing. The manoeuvering characteristics of ship can be adequately judged by the results of typical ship trials manoeuvres. For this purpose, the author measured the roll responses of a small fishing boat in waves using the real sea experimental measuring system, and analyzed the experimental data by the statistical and spectral analyzing methods to get the characteristics of the roll motion responses of the small boat through the wave directions and the ship's speed.

The modular robot is one which was developed to get over limit of the space movement for the mobile robot. The chain type robot in particular is connected by series each other and this form expression method is simple and easy to really make a docking method efficiently. However, the related studies were focused on the movement that used to be combination, and the movement of a cell independent mainly does not consist and have a problem to dock only in a direction, not to be connected with all directions. Therefore, we suggested a modular structure for quick, independent movement to solve such a problem and had own autonomy. In addition, we are intended to get some effectiveness for connection mechanism using one locking motor. In this paper, we dealt with the design for the mechanical and electrical points and docking algorithm including communication method. All of the structure is verified with real action experiment through the shape expressions of various application platform.

The purpose of this study is to develop education programme on climate change for elementary students which is based on student activity. The programme is intended to raise children's awareness and to build positive attitudes towards climate change. Ten programmes are developed. The main themes of the contents are 'a meteorological observation', 'a change of season', 'the monitoring climates of the past', 'the climate and life', 'the climate and human lives', 'the causes of climate change', 'the influence of the climate change' and 'the action on climate change' which are selected from the survey of previous domestic education programmes. Each programme consists of 5 steps: Introduction, Concrete experience, Reflective observation, Abstract conceptualisation and Active experimentation. We expect that this programme would enhance children's awareness and attitudes on climate change and induce positive and active response to climate change.

The development of selective targeting of drug molecules towards the mitochondria is an important issue related to therapy efficacy. In this study, we report that gallic acid (GA)-mitochondria targeting sequence (MTS)-H3R9 exhibits a dual role as a mitochondria-targeting vehicle with antioxidant activity for disease therapy. In viability assays, GA-MTS-H3R9 showed a better rescue action compared to that of MTS-H3R9. GA-MTS-H3R9 dramatically exhibited cell penetration and intercellular uptake compared to MTS and fit escape from lysosome release to the cytosol. We demonstrated the useful targeting of GA-MTS-H3R9 towards mitochondria in AC16 cells. Also, we observed that the antioxidant properties of mitochondrial-accrued GA-MTS-H3R9 alleviated cell damage by reactive oxygen species production and disrupted mitochondrial membrane potential. GA-MTS-H3R9 showed a very increased cytoprotective effect against anticancer activity compared to that of MTS-H3R9. We showed that GA-MTS-H3R9 can act as a vehicle for mitochondria-targeting and as a reagent for therapeutic applications intended for cardiovascular disease treatment.
There are many joint fissures distributed in the engineering rock mass. In the process of geological history, the underground rock mass undergoes strong geological processes, and undergoes complex geological processes such as fracture breeding, expansion, recementation, and re-expansion. In this paper, the damage-stick-slip process (DSSP), an analysis model used for rock mass failure slip, was established to examine the master control and time-dependent mechanical properties of the new and primary fractures of a multi-fractured rock mass under the action of stress loading. The experimental system for the recemented multi-fractured rock mass was developed to validate the above theory. First, a rock mass failure test was conducted. Then, the failure stress state was kept constant, and the fractured rock mass was grouted and cemented. A secondary loading was applied until the grouted mass reached the intended strength to investigate the bearing capacity of the recemented multi-fractured rock mass, and an acoustic emission (AE) system was used to monitor AE events and the update of damage energy. The results show that the initial fracture angle and direction had a significant effect on the re-failure process of the cement rock mass; Compared with the monitoring results of the acoustic emission (AE) measurements, the master control surface, key blocks and other control factors in the multi-fractured rock mass were obtained; The triangular shaped block in rock mass plays an important role in the stress and displacement change of multi-fracture rock mass and the long fissure and the fractures with close fracture tip are easier to activate, and the position where the longer fractures intersect with the smaller fractures is easier to generate new fractures. The results are of great significance to a multi-block structure, which affects the safety of underground coal mining.
This study investigated the relation between social worker's reflective thinking levels and the usage of social work practice skills. Dewey definded reflective thinking as active, persistent and careful consideration of any belief. And social work practice skills refer to those purposeful intervention activities, that are intended to alleviate client's distress, enhancing a client's coping abilities. Reflctive thinking levels consists of intensive reflection, reflection, understanding and habit action. The key of social work practice skills can be categorized into three major categories: supportive skills, therapeutic coping skills and case management skills. These categories were designed to apply to a diverse range of client populations. This paper proves that social work's reflective thinking ability and interactions with other workers have an effect on the intervention activities. In conclusion, this research indicates that if social works have a higher reflective thinking levels, they will creat practice siklls and social work practice knowledge.
This study was intended to investigate the effects of after-school forest healing programs on the pro-social behavior and self-efficacy of young children using the attributes of forest and the forest healing factors. The children attending a kindergarten located in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ - dong, Cheongju city were divided into a test group which participated in the forest healing program activities and a control group which participated in the regular programs of the kindergarten but not in the forest healing program. Each group consisted of 20 boys and girls aged 3 to 5 years. The forest healing program was conducted once a week from 10 April to 10 July in 2017 for a total of 12 sessions, and each session lasted one hour (60 minutes). The pro-sociality behavior and self-efficacy test of the children was conducted before and after the forest healing program, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. The result showed that the pro-social behaviors that indicated the ability to execute the positive action and the self-efficacy that indicated the self-confidence were statistically significant (p<0.05). The young children who participated in the forest healing program improved their self-esteem through positive thoughts from being with their peer in nature. Moreover, they increased not only ecological knowledge but also consideration for others and cooperative spirit. They also greatly improved the ability to control personal emotion and the ability to form the personal relationship which are the sub-factors of pro-sociality, the ability to adapt to the early childhood education institution, and the physical efficacy which is the sub-factor of self-efficacy. It was concluded that the after-school forest healing program had a positive impact on pro-social behavior and self-efficacy.
The intent of this longitudinal descriptive correlational study is to investigate the change of the mother - infant interactions over the periods of one month, three months and six months of the infant's age. This study is also intended to explore the interrelationships among three major factors- the perception of pregnancy, the mother -infant inter-action and the maternal attitude. The samples participated are 36 pairs of mother and infant from two university hospitals in Seoul. A data collection was made, from October in 1988 to September in 1989, for each subject at five periods of time ; prenatal period (after 36 weeks in pregnancy), postpartum two or three days, one month, three months and six months of infant's age. The research tools used in this investigation are Mother - Infant Play Interaction Scale (MIPIS), Prenatal Self- Evaluation Questionnaire and Cohler's Maternal Attitude Scale. Some of the findings are as follows ; 1. There is a significant increase in the mother - infant interaction from one month to three months and six months of infant's age. The highest score of the mother - infant interaction during three periods is at the time of three months. 2. The primipara's mother -infant interaction is not affected by the demographic characteristics, such as age, education and vocation of mother, types of delivery, or sex of infant. 3. Among seven categories of the perception of pregnancy, the most positively perceived categories by primiparas are acceptance of pregnancy and identification of. a motherhood role : whereas the negative ones are preparation for labor, concern for well -being of self and baby, md fear of pain, helplessness and loss of control in order of negativity. 4. There is no significant relationship between the perception of pregnancy and the mother - infant interactions. 5. There is no significant change in the maternal attitude over the period of one month, three months, and six months of infant's age. 6. There is no significant relationship between the maternal attitude and the mother - infant interactions. 7, The significant relationships are (end between the perception of pregnancy and maternal attitude, especially in the categories of concern for well -being of self and baby, accetance of pregnancy, identification of a motherhood role, fear of pain, helplessness and loss of control, and relationship with husband. In conclusion, it is confirmed that primipara's mother-infant interactions change over time period, and that perception of pregnancy and the maternal attitude do not affect the mother-infant interactions despite a significat relationship between those two variables. The implications of this investigation include a suggestion that nurses need to teach and demonstrate to mothers how to care for and interact with their infants, with a view to improving the mother-infant interactions which can be obtained through the improvement of maternal sensitivity to their infants.
