Development of Intelligent Diagnostic System for Refrigerator (냉동기용 지능형 진단시스템의 개발)

  • This paper describes an intelligent diagnostic system for the refrigerator which is used for the cold-storage of farm produce. The propose method measures the temperature of the compressor, condenser and evaporator in the refrigerator and uses the measured values to diagnose the system. It is shown through the implementation that the developed system is efficient for the fault observation and diagnose of the refrigerator.

  • An intelligent digital redesign technique (IDR) for the observer-based output feedback Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy control system with unmeasurable premise variables is developed. The considered IDR condition is cubically parameterized as convex minimization problems of the norm distances between linear operators to be matched.

  • 최근 로봇에 지능을 부여하기 fl한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 지고 있으며, 생물학-곤충들의 행동과 지능에 기초를 둔 로봇 지능-행동 연구가 중요한 연구 줄거리를 형성하게 되었다. 이 글은 로봇의 제어구조-숙고형, 반사행동형-에 대한 소개와 각각의 장.단점에 대한 고찰, 생물학-곤충들의 행동과 지능-에 기초를 둔 로봇'지능-행동 연구 분야의 최근의 연구 성과들을 고찰하고 소개한다. 그리고 지능을 부여하기 위한 학습 방법으로서의 강화학습(reinforcement learning)의 연구주제를 소개하고 향후의 로봇 연구 방향에 대하여 고찰한다.

  • 지능형 디지털 재설계 기법의 중요한 가정은 퍼지 IF-THEN 규칙의 발화도가 샘플링 구간에서 샘플링 순간의 값으로 근사화 된다는 점이다. 본 논문은 퍼지 IF-THEN 규칙 발화도의 근사화 가정을 배제한 경우에 대하여 기존의 지능형 디지털 재설계 기법에 의하여 재설계된 디지털 제어기의 안정화 가능성을 조사한다.

  • Human driver monitoring system is one of the most important systems for the safety in driving vehicles, and therefore driver assistance system has gained much attention during the last decade. This paper proposed an intelligent driver assistance system which monitors human driver's states from bio-signals such as ECG and Blood Pressure. The proposed system used mamdani fuzzy inference to evaluate the driver's mental strain and generated warning signals to the driver. The approach using bio-signals in driver assistance system is the main issue of the related systems and the preliminary results showed the possibility of further research topics in developing more intelligent embedded systems with bio-signal feedback.

  • Profibus-DP is the performance-optimized version of Profibus, specifically dedicated to time-critical communication between automation systems and distributed peripherals. It is included into the International Fieldbus Standard IEC 61158. In this paper, The ASIC for Profibus-DP simple and intelligent slave is proposed and implemented. It can be fully compatible with Siemens LSPM2 as a pin-to-pin base and it also has a high-level function that can replace current intelligent slave boards with one chip. Also it can be used without special OS coding unlike SPC3 of Siemens.

Visual Bean Inspection Using a Neural Network

  • This paper describes a neural network based machine vision system designed for inspecting yellow beans in real time. The system consists of a camera. lights, a belt conveyor, air ejectors, and a computer. Beans are conveyed in four lines on a belt and their images are taken by a monochrome line scan camera when they fall down from the belt. Beans are separated easily from their background on images by back-lighting. After analyzing the image, a decision is made by a multilayer artificial neural network (ANN) trained by the error back-propagation (EBP) algorithm. We use the global mean, variance and local change of gray levels of a bean for the input nodes of the network. In an our experiment, the system designed could process about 520kg/hour.

Intelligent Soft Driving System for an Electric Four-wheeled Vehicle Eluding Dynamic Obstacles

  • There are electric four-wheeled vehicles to assist elder people. Because of the vehicles'dynamic characteristic such as impossible to move abeam, it is difficult for these people who has little experience and has little knowledge to drive. Also to judge the future state of dynamic obstacles and to decide how to elude them safely are more difficult. We installed the predictive fuzzy controller(evaluates the future states which several kinds of operation candidates were done and chooses the best one) that modeled humans'algorithms in the system. Human predicts the future states of dynamic obstacles and chooses an operation(wait, steer, go back, etc) to elude safely. To elude dynamic obstacles flexibly, we added expert's knowledge for safe driving to this controller. In this paper, we propose the intelligent soft driving system by the controller that can elude dynamic obstacles safely, and we confirm the effectiveness by a simulation.

  • This paper addresses a fuzzy controller for nonlinear systems control using a pole placement in a specified disk and fuzzy controller is redesign for Intelligent digital redesign method. for nonlinear system, we obtain continuous time state feedback gain that guarantee stability of globally TS fuzzy system. The feedback gain is satified pole placement in a specified disk region so that the closed loop system is stable, For digital control redesgin of continuous time TS fuzzy model, we does state matching and obtain feedback gain of digital controller. Finally, it is shown that the proposed method is feasible through a computer simulation.
