In this study, we investigated the modeling and design of an Intelligent Agent System (IAS). To achieve this goal, we introduced several kinds of agents that exhibit intelligent features. These are the main agent, management agent, watcher agent, report agent and application agent. We applied the intelligent agent concept to two different application fields, i.e. the intelligent agent system for pattern classification and the intelligent agent system for bank asset management modeling.

Recently, due to the widely use of personal computers and internet, many computer users requested intelligent system that can cope with various types of requirements and user-friendly interfaces. Based on this background, researches on the intelligent agent are now activating in various fields. In this paper, we modeled, designed and implemented an intelligent agent system for pattern classification by adopting intelligent agent concepts. We also investigated the pattern classification method by utilizing some pattern classification algorithms for the common data. As a result, we identified that 300 3-dimensional data are applied to three pattern classification algorithms and returned correct results. Our system showed a distinguished user-friendly interface feature by adopting various agents including graphic agent.

This paper addresses an Intelligent Agent-based Open Architecture Cell Controller for Intelligent Manufacturing System(IMS). With an Intelligent Agent approach, the IMS will be a independent, autonomous, distributed system and achieve a adaptability to change of manufacturing environment. As the development methodology of Open Architecture Cell Controller, an object-oriented modeling technique is employed for building models associated with IMS operation, such as resource model, product model, and control model. Intelligent Agent-based Open Architecture Cell Controller consists of two kinds of dependant agents, that are the active agent and the coordinator agent. The Active agent is contributed to control components of IMS in real-time. The coordinator agent has great role in scheduling and planning of IMS. It communicates with other active agents to get information about status on system and generates the next optimal task through the making-decision logic and dispatch it to other active agent.

There are over a billion web sites on the Internet and the number of web sites is still growing. This paper describes an information system. We have designed Trigger Agent System based on RMI (Remote Method invocation) and distribution object system. In this paper, we introduce Trigger agent system which is one of Intelligent agent system.

Recently, there has been active research conducted on the intelligent agent in various fields. The results have been widely applied to intelligent user-friendly interfaces. In this system, we modeled, designed, and implemented an intelligent agent system that can be applied to stock and news. Some procedures such as login sequence to the web site, process to get stock information, setting stock in concern, intelligent news system module, news analysis module, and news learning module are modeled in detail and described in block diagram level. In our experiment on stock system, it showed quite a useful alarming screen avatar result and also on news system. it successfully rearranged the order of the news according to the user's preferences.

많은 양의 정보가 인터넷을 통해 제공되고 있다. 이 때문에 사용자는 쓸모없는 정보를 찾는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 사용자의 불편함을 해결하기 위하여 지능형 웹 에이전트 시스템을 제안한다. 이 지능형 웹 에이전트 시시스템은 사용자의 행동과 에이전트 방문을 키워드를 중심으로 각각의 사례로 저장하는 사례 기반 학습 방법을 이용하여 특정 개인 사용자가 웹상에서 검색하고자 하는 자료를 입력받은후부터 사용자의 방문 행동을 학습하여 보다 빠른 시간내에 원하고자 하는 자료를 검색할 수 있도록 도와주는 에이전트 시스템이다. 지능형 웹 에이전트 시스템은 인터페이스 시스템과 학습 시스템의 두 개의 부시스템으로 이루어져 있다. 실험 결과 지능형 웹 에이전트 시스템을 사용했을 때가 사용하지 않았을 때보다 훨씬 빨리 찾을 수 있었다.

In order to implement Artificial Intelligence, various technologies have been widely used. Artificial Intelligence are applied for many industrial products and machine tools are the center of manufacturing devices in intelligent manufacturing devices. The purpose of this paper is to present the design of Decision Support Agent that is applicable to machine tools. This system is that decision whether to act in accordance with machine status is support system. It communicates with other active agents such as sensory and dialogue agent. The proposed design of decision support agent facilitates the effective operation and control of machine tools and provides a systematic way to integrate the expert's knowledge that will implement Intelligent Machine Tools.

To get the items that a buyer wants in Internet auction. he must search for the items through several auction sites. When the bidding starts, he(the buyer) needs to connect to these auction sites frequently so that he can monitor the bid stats and re-bid. A reserve-price auction reduces the number of connections, but this limits the user's bidding strategy. Another problem is equity between the buyer and the seller. Both the buyer and the seller should profit together within proper limits. In this paper, we propose an auction agent system using a collaborative mobile agent and a brokering mechanism called MoCAAS (Mobile Collaborative Auction Agent System), which mediates between the buyer and the seller and executes bidding asynchronously and autonomously. This reduces connection costs. offers more intelligent bidding and solves the equity problem.

최근 들어 인간과 컴퓨터를 연결시켜주는 지능형 시스템에 대한 관심이 커지고 있으며, 컴퓨터 사용자들의 다양한 요구사항들을 수용할 수 있는 지능형 에이전트 시스템에 대한 연구가 가속화되고 있다 본 논문에서는 사용자 인터페이스의 역할을 담당하는 지능형 아바타 에이전트를 도입함으로써 사용자에게 보다 편리하고 친숙한 환경설정을 제공하며 다양한 분야에 응용할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다. 지능형 아바타 에이전트 시스템이 모델링 되었으며 이에 따른 몇 가지의 구현 결과 아바타 에이전트, 메일 체크 기능의 면에서 좋은 결과를 나타내었다.

The intelligent home network system integrates various devices in the home into one communication network to provide information sharing, control, and operation environment between devices. This intelligent home network system operates around a home server. Home appliances in the era of the 4th industrial revolution will have numerous home servers in logical areas as the intelligent home network in the home accelerates. Therefore, the need for systematic management of home servers is emerging. We propose an agent system for efficient intelligent smart home server management. The agent system monitors the home server and operating environment for home server management of the intelligent smart home network. By referring to this monitored information, the service module of the home server is managed, and the home server is dealt with whether it is normal or not. In addition, by referring to the information collected by the service agent created in the group management server while migrating the home server, it is possible to deal with integrated meter reading, crime prevention, and topics. And when a new service is applied to the home server, it is registered in the management server and distributed to the home server through the agent, so that the intelligent smart home network can be efficiently managed.
