다중 접합 기반 수신기의 I/Q 재생성과 I/Q 부정합의 정량적 분석 (A Quantitative Analysis of I/Q Regeneration and I/Q Mismatch in Multi-Port Junction-based Direct Receivers)

  • 본 논문에서는 새로운 해석을 통해서 RFIC에서 사용하는 범용 I/Q 부정합 보상기를 사용하여 다중 접합 기반 수신기에서 I 채널과 Q 채널 정보 신호를 생성할 수 있음을 증명한다. 이 증명으로 다중 접합 기반 수신기를 기존의 RFIC 기반 시스템에 추가적인 디지털 신호 처리 기능 없이 집적할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 다중 접합기의 I/Q 재생성 파라미터의 정확도와 I/Q 부정합 사이의 관계를 분석하고, 추정 결과와 모의 실험 결과가 거의 일치함을 보인다.

Effect of Neurotrophic Factors on Neuronal Stem Cell Death

  • Neural cell survival is an essential concern in the aging brain and many diseases of the central nervous system. Neural transplantation of the stem cells are already applied to clinical trials for many degenerative neurological diseases, including Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, and strokes. A critical problem of the neural transplantation is how to reduce their apoptosis and improve cell survival. Neurotrophic factors generally contribute as extrinsic cues to promote cell survival of specific neurons in the developing mammalian brains, but the survival factor for neural stem cell is poorly defined. To understand the mechanism controlling stem cell death and improve cell survival of the transplanted stem cells, we investigated the effect of plausible neurotrophic factors on stem cell survival. The neural stem cell, HiB5, when treated with PDGF prior to transplantation, survived better than cells without PDGF. The resulting survival rate was two fold for four weeks and up to three fold for twelve weeks. When transplanted into dorsal hippocampus, they migrated along hippocampal alveus and integrated into pyramidal cell layers and dentate granule cell layers in an inside out sequence, which is perhaps the endogenous pathway that is similar to that in embryonic neurogenesis. Promotion of the long term-survival and differentiation of the transplanted neural precursors by PDGF may facilitate regeneration in the aging adult brain and probably in the injury sites of the brain.

근린재생을 위한 동 주민센터의 리모델링 계획방향 연구 (A Study on the Remodeling Design Direction of the Community Center for Neighborhood Regeneration)

  • Recently, residents' community center is trying to combine with various program and facilities as the residents self-government program's development. This is due to the reduction of administrative tasks, the computerization of programs, the importance of community participation activities, the activation of community, and the increase of welfare projects. Therefore, previous studies on program complexity have been actively carried out. Nevertheless, spaces and programs studies of considering regional characteristics are lacking. Therefore, the community centers' program and spaces need to change. Therefore, this study propose an improvement direction through analyzing the situation of the residents' community center. For this study, the precedent research and institutional limitations are examined. In addition, this study selected and analyzed the 15 local community center. Thirdly, interviews were conducted with users and officials of the 5 residents' community centers on major changes. Finally, This study suggests direction of program improvement and architectural design direction. As a result of this study, integrated management measures with overlapping agencies should be sought. Surplus space will have to be rearranged into a new program through prior examination. Above all, the proposed remodeling guidelines require user requirements to be reflected and designed with the residents.

중국 경진당(京津唐) 지역 산업 이전적지(移轉跡地) 재생 전략 연구 (A Study on the Landscape Design Strategies for Regeneration of Post-Industrial Sites of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Region in China)

  • 산업구조의 변화와 함께 도시공간구조가 재편되는 것은 세계적인 현상이고, 중국은 대표적인 국가 가운데 하나이다. 중국의 수도권이라고 할 수 있는 북경-천진-당산으로 이어지는 경진당(京津唐) 지역은 공장과 공업단지들이 이전하고 남겨진 산업 이전적지들의 재생 프로젝트가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 경진당(京津唐) 지역의 산업 이전적지 재생 사례들을 분석하여 사업의 특징과 목표, 설계 철학과 전략을 정리하고 시사점을 도출하여 향후 유사한 프로젝트를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 연구 방법은 경진당 지역의 산업 이전적지 재생 프로젝트를 현지 답사를 통해 조사, 분석하고 문헌연구를 통해 귀납적으로 결과를 도출하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경진당 지역의 산업 이전적지 재생프로젝트는 산업 유산 보호, 문화적 창의성, 공동체성 증진 같은 다원화된 목표를 추구하고 있다. 둘째, 대상지의 공간적, 장소적 특성과 산업유산을 존중하는 디자인 전략을 통해 새로운 디자인 내용과 대상지의 고유성이 조화되어 장소적 특징과 경관 효과를 최대화하고 있다. 셋째, 산업 이전적지의 생태적 복원에 초점을 두어 오염된 토양에 적응성 있는 식물과 자생식물을 위주로 식재하고 있다. 넷째, 조경 디자인은 조각이나 그래피티 같은 현대예술과 결합하여 대상지를 풍요롭게 하고 활성화를 촉진한다. 다섯째, 재생된 장소의 활성화 측면에서 도시적 이벤트와 대중 활동 프로그램을 적극 도입하고 있다.

Plastid Transformation of Soybean Suspension Cultures

  • Plastid transformation was attempted with soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] leaves and photoautotrophic and embryogenic cultures by particle bombardment using the transforming vector pZVII that carries the coding sequences for both subunits of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii Rubisco and a spectinomycin resistance gene (aadA). Spectinomycin resistant calli were selected from the bombarded leaves but the transgene was not present, indicating that the resistance was due to mutations. The Chlamydomonas rbcL and rbcS genes were shown to be site-specifically integrated into the plastid genome of the embryogenic cells with a very low transformation efficiency. None of the transformed embryogenic lines survived the plant regeneration process so no whole plants were recovered. This result does indicate that it should be possible to insert genes into the plastid genome of the important crop soybean if the overall methods are improved.

  • In this research, we consider an integrated manufacturing/distribution planning problem in supply chain (SC) which has non-integer time lags. We focus on a capacitated manufacturing planning and capacity allocation problem for the system. We develop a mixed binary integer linear programming (MBLP) model and propose an efficient heuristic procedure using an adaptive genetic algorithm, which is composed of a regeneration procedure for evaluating infeasible chromosomes and the reduced costs from the LP-relaxation of the original model. The proposed an adaptive genetic algorithm was tested in terms of the solution accuracy and algorithm speed during numerical experiments. We found that our algorithm can generate the optimal solution within a reasonable computational time.

자동차 냉각수 폐열회수 열전발전 시스템의 성능에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on Thermoelectric Generator Performance for Waste Coolant Recovery Systems in Vehicles)

  • This study indicated the possibility of energy regeneration from waste coolant heat, by using thermoelectric generation integrated with heat pipe. The internal combustion engine rejects more than 60% wasteful energy to the atmosphere by heat. The thermoelectric generator has recently been studied, to convert the energy from engine waste heat into electricity. For coolant waste heat recovery, a thermoelectric generator was investigated, to find out the possibility of vehicular application. Performance characteristics were conducted with various test conditions of coolant temperature, coolant mass flow rate, air temperature, and air velocity, with the thermoelectric generator installed either horizontally or vertically. Experimental results show that the electric power and conversion efficiency increases according to the temperature difference between the hot and cold side of the thermoelectric generator, and the coolant flow rate of the hot side heat exchanger. Performance improvement can be expected by optimizing the heat pipe design.

  • 본 논문은 원인천의 중심이었던 경인선 동인천역 및 동인천역세권을 대상으로 20세기 도시성장에 따른 원인천의 쇠퇴와 함께 불합리한 민자역사 개발로 낙후된 지역을 재활성화하기 위하여, 철도에 의해 양분된 지역생활권의 단절 해소 및 철도시설 연변부지의 효율적 토지이용을 통한 입체적인 철도 환승시스템을 제안함과 동시에 철도 이용객의 편의를 도모하며 기존 지역상권의 복원 및 활용을 통한 지역활성화 방안을 모색하는 것에 있다.

  • This study was carried out to estimate the seed crop of Carpinus forest in Piagol of Mt. Chiri for six years and the results obtained were as follows; Upper two layers of Capinus forest were dominated by C. tschonoskii and Subfall tree layer ranging from 15.40 to 17.20 m in height. The distribution of seed weight of C. tsconoski was skewed to light weight classes. Most seeds fall in November. The best crop was shown in 1984, while virtually no crops in 1985. Since 1985, annual seed crop increased gradually.

  • 석탄가스화 복합발전 시스템의 주요 단위 공정인 고온건식 탈황공정에 사용되는 탈황제의 개발을 위한 연구의 일환으로 국내산 철광석과 호주산 철광석에 대해 환원, 황화 및 재생 반응을 수행하였다. 실험 장치로는 TGA와 시료 제조용 고정층 반응기를 이용하였고, BET 표면적, SEM, 탈황/재생 cycle 실험, 반응 온도 변화 및 탈황제의 질량변화곡선 등을 이용하여 세가지 철계 탈황제에 대한 기초반응 특성을 규명하였다. 500-$700^{\circ}C$ 구간에서 반응온도 증가에 따라 탈황반응의 H$_2$S 제거율과 재생반응의 재생율이 증가하였다.
