PACS is an integrated communication network system which is consists of image acquisition devices, storage archiving units, display stations, computer processors, and database management systems. In medical industry, they have been introduced the medical equipments through PACS systems based on the DICOM standard. In this paper, we have reviewed the visual quality performance of various JPEG and JPEG2000 compression options for medical images. Through the realized the transmission mode on DICOM standard, the developed DICOM viewer has been shown in medical applications.

Information Technology has extended its scope to the medical field as well as dental field. Like medical field, network ststem for dental field requires acquisition, storage, and display of images. However, unlike the medical field, the system to integrate several information including medical images has not been developed according to industrial standard for management of digital image for medical use, so called DICOM conformance. which makes the digital environment in dental field more and more difficult and expensive for this standardization and comfortable communication in LAN and WAN. To solve this problem, the DICOM encoder and server has to be developed because the DICOM file can be easily retrieved with patient's information from the DICOM server in the system as DICOM file has the standard specification to integrate the patient's information. The information including image and other discrete data can be easily integrated in DICOM file and can be used without any difficulty for precise diagnosis and for contribution to the decision making for each treatment protocol. Therefore, the system composed of DICOM encoder and server in dental practive for DICOM file must be developed with prudent consideration of the several strategic factors: I) Enhanced diagnostic capability through the integrated information of image and clinical data. ii) Clinician-friendly interface to simulate the systemic treatment procedure in clinical practice iii) Implementation of multidisciplinary treatment protocol The development of DICOM encoder and server based on these strategic considerations will provide paperless and filmless hospital environments by the seamless integration and management of patient's history, several clinical data and clinical images through image processing for quantitative analysis. The system also allows clinicians to provide more predictable dental care for the patients.

과거와 다르게 최근의 병원들은 정보화로 인해서 상당한 양의 의료 데이터가 저장되어 있어서 이의 효과적인 이용에 관심을 가지고 있다. 그러나 기존 통합병원정보시스템 (Integrated Hospital Information System)은 아직까지 일반관리와 원무관리 중심에서 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 품질 좋은 의료 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 환자 중심의 진료 및 진료지원, 임상연구 등을 종합적으로 지원하기 위한 데이터 웨어하우스 (Data Warehouse)의 필요성이 대두되기 시작했다. 이에 본 연구는 병원 전체 차원에서 데이터 웨어하우스의 아키텍쳐를 설계하고 개발하는 데 주안점을 두었다. 특히, 임상 데이터 웨어하우스 (Clinical Data Warehouse)에 초점을 두었으며 이에 대한 프로토타입은 J 병원에 적용되어서 개발되었다.

In the case of an agile-based project, it was inadequate to perform a comprehensive inspection and evaluation on the establishment and operation of an information system by performing audit only with the audit and inspection elements provided by the existing information system audit and inspection system. In particular, in the case of the test activity area, it was necessary to improve the test activity audit check items to comprehensively check the agile-based development process by applying the existing audit system. To this end, a test activity improvement check model of the agile methodology audit model was presented by applying the repetition concept, a characteristic of the agile methodology. In order to empirically verify the model of this study, a survey was conducted for auditors and designers/developers who have experience in performing agile-based projects and auditing information systems. As a result of the questionnaire on the integrated test and system test in the test stage, more than 70% of the respondents were found to be suitable. More than 80% of the respondents judged that it was appropriate as a result of the questionnaire on "improvement and regression test progress according to integrated test and system test results" and "integrated test and functional actions of components and subsystems".

An analytical of throughput and delay on reverse link in a cellular slotted CDMA system with integrated voice and World Wide Web (WWW) traffic is presented in this paper. Our results show that the Gaussian approximation it was found that the voice traffic can have a significant impact on the WWW traffic. It was also found that the different mobiles velocity and number of resolvable paths is impact each other the system performance.

In order to provide appropriate decision supports in medical domain, it is required that clinical knowledge should be implemented in a computable form and integrated with hospital information systems. Healthcare organizations are increasingly adopting tools that provide decision support functions to improve patient outcomes and reduce medical errors. This paper proposes a process centric clinical decision support system based on medical knowledge. The proposed system consists of three major parts - CPG (Clinical Practice Guideline) repository, service pool, and decision support module. The decision support module interprets knowledge base generated by the CPG and service part and then generates a personalized and patient centered clinical process satisfying specific requirements of an individual patient during the entire treatment in hospitals. The proposed system helps health professionals to select appropriate clinical procedures according to the circumstances of each patient resulting in improving the quality of care and reducing medical errors.

본 논문에서는 현재 대학 한방병원에서 운영하고 있는 통합의료정보시스템의 외래환자 인구학적 정보와 진료기록 정보를 이용하여 고객세분화를 실시하고, 그 결과를 활용하여 외래환자 고객만족도 증진을 위한 고객관계관리 시스템 구축 모형을 제안하였다. 제안된 고객 관계관리 시스템 모형은 최선 정보기술과 인프라를 이용하기 보다는 현재 구축된 병원정보시스템의 부분적 수정을 통해 구축이 가능하므로 즉시 실현이 가능한 실용적인 모델이 될 수 있다. 또한 마케팅 전략에 따라 적절한 변수와 세분화 방법을 활용할 경우, 외래환자 고객만족 증진뿐만 아니라 다양한 형태의 마케팅 전략을 지원할 수 있는 고객관계관리 시스템 구축이 가능할 것이다.

의료시장의 무한경쟁과 의료 경영환경을 극복하기 위한 최선의 방안은 병원 업무의 전산화를 통한 시스템 간의 효율적인 정보교환의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 또한, 처방전달시스템, 전자의무기록시스템, 검사정보시스템, 의료영상 저장 및 전송시스템 등의 이기종간 의료정보 시스템의 통합 시스템을 구축하여 진료환경을 구축하고 진료의 효율성을 개선해야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 업무 시스템 간에 상호 연계가 보장된 표준정보연계체계 구축 및 최적화된 응용시스템 구축으로 환자 서비스 개선과 진료 및 경영 효율을 증대시킨 통합의료정보시스템의 구축방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

의료 정보가 데이터베이스에 집적되고 다수의 연구자 혹은 의료인에 의해 무작위로 이용되는 경우에는 개인의 사생활에 대한 중대한 침해가 될 수 있다. 의료 정보 서비스는 시간의 경과에 따라 통합의료 정보 시스템으로 발전할 것이고 전체적 및 부분적으로 정보 보안의 요구는 필연적으로 대두될 것이다 본 연구는 의료 정보 시스템에서 보안 위협 요소를 고찰하고 PDA 등의 모바일 디바이스를 통한 의료 정보 서비스 모델을 제시한다. 제안된 모델을 중심으로 처방전 전자 서명 관리에 중심을 둔 보안 구조를 제안하였다 제안된 구조는 의료진의 책임 있는 처방을 유도하며, 신뢰성 있는 의료시스템의 구성, 의료 분쟁 발생 시 적절한 데이터로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
