Since geographic information systems (GIS) began to emerge as an effective spatial information processing technology, there also has been growing interest in integrated use of GIS with other decision support systems. As various spatial-related problems such as urban development planning and natural resource management require more analytical and interpretive solutions, it is viewed that the supportive role of GIS to complement or reinforce the counterpart decision tools will be increased. This study examines the major situations that have needed the integration methodologies in the past decade to derive research trends relating to this integration agenda and, hence, to elicit the possible underlying principles from those experiences. According to the kinds of decision tools linked with GIS, alternative methodologies and viewpoints are categorized and compared.

Recent Internet Service Environment has been moved to provide geographic information based on location as well as existent various information. In this paper, we develop an integrated software connecting GIS information to Internet. In the other hand, in GIS S/W, it is important that rapid output of Digital Map and effective trnasmission of specified Digital Map about moving area. To achieve the purpose, we propose a reduced digital format to diminish original digital maps. Also, we develop a GIS-based software engine with functions connecting location information to URL as well as map viewer and map handling. Futhermore, our developed GIS S/W is based Module in LBS application using GPS sensor.

급속한 도시화와 더불어 도시화의 기반이 되는 막대한 사회기반시설물이 필요하게 되었다. 현재 시설물 관리기관별로 관리되고 있는 전화, 전기, 가스, 상하수도 등과 같은 사회기반시설물이 전체적인 입장에서 조정될 수 있다면 응급상황발생시 효율적으로 대처할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 이들 시설물의 유지관리시 발생되는 공사비 중복 및 주민의 불편을 상당부분 해소할 수 있게 될 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 사회기반시설물을 관리하고 있는 기관의 시설물 관리업무를 조사하여 GIS구축시 기초자료가 되는 기관별 업무수행시 조사항목을 체계적으로 정리하였으며, 기관별로 활용하고 있는 도면 및 장부를 함께 조사분석하여 시설물 관리에 필요한 수치코드 표준화방안, 기본도에 포함되어야할 사항, 기본도의 축척, 기본도 관리기관 및 기본도 운영방법 등을 제시하였다.

The high prices of satellite images prevent researchers from studying remote sensing and most non-professional people doesn't have the simple and easy solutions for the manipulation of satellite images. "Integrated Management of Satellite Imagery Information" project which will be promoted by ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) will provide the solutions for the above mentioned problems. We will introduce the archiving center in this study. This includes the data construction, storage, management and distribution. We first review the background for this archiving center and introduce the interior and foreign institutes which archive and distribute satellite images. We review our H/W system and S/W system briefly. Finally, the further service of our project will be suggested. Since we will distribute the satellite images (Landsat, SPOT, JERS, Corona, Kompast-1) and will receive Landsat7 ETM+ in 2003 you, this will help the professional work dealing with the satellite image and attract the non-professional people for simple and easy manipulation solutions of satellite image.

수질 및 유량 등에 관한 하천유역의 종합적이고 체계적인 관리를 위하여 GIS의 도입을 통한 물통합관리시스템의 구축 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 물통합관리에 필요한 각종 정보요소를 파악하여 GIS와 연계할 수 있는 DB의 주요 항목과 주제도의 내용을 제시하였다. 개별 오염원의 공간적인 위치정보와 함께 다양한 조건에서 발생하는 오염부하량, 유역 내수문변화를 모의하고 이로 인한 하천의 유량 및 수질변화 추적을 위한 DB의 종류 및 구성 내용도 제시하였다. 위치자료와 속성정보의 연계, 관측 자료의 검색과 시계열 분석, 각종 위치관련 정보를 시각적으로 확인할 수 있는 기능 등 GIS와 연계된 물통합 정보 제공 기능도 정리하였다. 또한 기존의 물환경정보시스템, 오염총량관리지원시스템, 각 시군구에서 자체적으로 추진하고 있는 수질 및 수량 측정자료들과의 연계와 통합 DB 구축 및 물통합관리 데이터 웨어하우스 구축을 제안하였다.

최근 이상기후 등의 영향으로 도시침수로 인한 인적 물적 피해가 증가하고 있다. 침수위험지역 관리를 위해 SWMM 등의 유출모형과 GIS (Geographic Information System) 기술을 결합하여 위험지역의 정보를 사전에 제공하려는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 대부분의 침수위험지역 관리 시스템의 GIS는 유출모형 등을 통한 수문분석결과를 가시화하는 정도로 활용되고 있으며, 침수관리 시스템을 통한 침수위험지역의 예방/대응 등의 통합된 방재정보를 제공하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 도시침수 통합관리 시스템 구축을 위한 모듈로 공간DB기반의 Map Viewer 시스템의 프로토타입을 설계하고, Shape File 포맷의 지도정보를 공간DB로 변환하는 모듈을 구현하였다.

The National Institute of Environmental Research(NIER) launched a research about Framework of Environmental Health Information System for Industrial Complex in 2001, with the goal of finding out measures to establish an integrated management system(IMS) for environmental health information. Based on the research results, NIER started to build integrated information system. The process will continue from 2006 to 2008. As the first step, in 2006, NIER outsourced the job of setting up the specific plan. In 2007, based on the plan created in the previous year, computerization work began. During 2008, the $3^{rd}$ year of the process, the integrated system will be compatible to conventional GIS system and statistics analysis system to deliver funker efficient and useful services. In this vein, the objective of the study is to identify data collection procedure, data utilization, and overall goal of the system. In addition, It will illustrate digitalization process and recommendation about how to utilize the system.

지자체 GIS 정보화가 확산되어감에 따라 구축된 공간정보의 활용확산, 타 정보와의 연계 등의 요구가 증대되고 있다. 특히 지자체 행정업무의 70-80%가 공간정보와 연계되어 있는 만큼, 지자체 GIS 통합 연계가 지자체 정보화의 핵심으로 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 현 지자체GIS 통합 연계 현황과 기존연구에서의 지자체 GIS 통합 연계 이슈사항을 파악하고, 이를 기반으로 지자체 GIS 통합 연계 이슈정립 및 해당이슈를 해결하기 위한 지자체 GIS 통합 연계 고도화 모델을 제시하였다. 지자체 GIS 통합 연계 고도화모델은 지자체 지리정보 담당부서 중심의 통합연계에서 확대하여, 지자체 전 부서 및 국가적 차원에서의 통합연계를 고려한 모델이다. 지자체 GIS 통합연계 고도화 모델을 위한 추진전략으로 자료공유방안, 지자체GIS 공통기반 데이터정비, 지자체 GIS 통합DB구축 및 연계구조 기반의 아키텍쳐 개선, 시스템 및 DB 구축 및 개선, GIS DB 통합인프라 표준정비, 지자체 GIS 통합연계 정보화 기반조성이라는 전략을 제시하였다. 결론으로, 제시된 모델의 구현을 위해선 협업의 개념이 바탕이 된 제도적인 뒷받침이 우선시되어야 함이 강조되었다.

In this paper, we design and implement an integrated management system for geographic data and vehicular images using a Geographic Information System (GIS). Integrated management of geographic data and vehicular images is very important to manage and to provide them to users effectively because of a large volume of vehicular images. To manipulate these data together, we consider a vehicular image as a polygon which is a type of popular geographic data types. The polygon represents a region in which spatial objects appear the vehicular image.

GIS는 다양한 영역에서 유용한 도구로서 자리잡고 있으나, 한편으로는, 복잡한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 GIS가 수학, 공학적인 모델링툴과 결합되는 것이 필요하다는 견해와 연구결과가 등장하고 있다. LP(Linear Programming)는 주어진 자원을 최적으로 배분하는 문제에 사용되는 수학적인 기법이다. LP는 공간적인 표현을 포함하지 않기때문에 GIS의 기능들과 결합될 때 그 유용성이 높아질 수 있다. 그러나 전통적인 LP는 명료하게 조건이 주어질 경우에만 적합한 방법이므로, 토지이용계획과 같이 결정요소가 명확한 값으로 주어질 수 없는 경우에는 현실적으로 적용하기 어려워진다. 이 연구에서는, 이와 같이 불명료한(fuzzy) 상황을 다루기 위해 Fuzzy logic을 사용한 fuzzy-LP를 개발하고, 이를 GIS와 통합하는 방법론을 제시한다. 통합시스템에서 GIS는 Fuzzy-LP과정으로 데이터를 공급하거나 Fuzzy-LP의 결과값을 표현하는데 이용된다. 이 시스템을 토지이용배분문제에 적용하는 경우를 예시하였다.
