  • The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated teaching model that integrates mathematics and ethics with social justice theme centric approach. To solve the research problems, the investigator conducted literature studies on the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum, 2015 revised mathematics 3rd to 6th grade textbooks, and the 2015 revised ethics curriculum.. Based on the results of analysis, the mathematics and ethics integrated model for social justice was devised by using the three axes of mathematics subject, ethics subject, and social justice. The integrated class of mathematics and ethics for social justice consists of the steps of problem recognition (ME 1), analysis (ME 2), discussion (ME 3), inquiry and practice (ME 4), and it can be implemented in a total of 27 ways. In order to confirm the effectiveness of the integrated model, two classes of sixth grade were selected as experimental and comparative classes. As a result of the study, the integrated class of mathematics and ethics can be used as a tool to improve the value perception of mathematics, However, it should be conducted with full consideration of students' mathematical tendencies in advance. Also, it can improve students' social consciousness. However, practice and experience-oriented classes are effective to overcome 'reserved agency' problem. Finally, it can improve students' perception of integrated classes and their creative thinking and critical thinking skills.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the implications of the integrated support through the 'health - medical - welfare' network and the specific context of the operation through the experiences of the users who participated in the 301 network project of Seoul northern municipal hospital. To do this, In-depth interviews were carried out with 10 research participants. The data was analyzed by general qualitative research methods. As a result of analysis, users lost their willingness because of living in a vicious cycle of poverty and illness before participating in 301 network services, but through the participation of the service, they were able to receive the integrated support of 'cure-care-life stability'. These experiences ultimately led to the regeneration of the will of their lives. At the basis of this experience were operating strategies and conditions such as the formation of a diverse professional team, the establishment of a linkage system within and outside the hospital, the establishment of a treatment linkage system through the acquisition of treatment subsidies, and the linkage of resources at mediation level. As the attempt to integrate 'health, medical and welfare' with well-coordinated strategies and conditions showed the possibility of complementing the limitation of the health welfare support system in Korea, the extension of the related business was suggested. For this, it suggested the more stable stabilization of the linkage system and the improvement of the institutional aspect.

  • An INS is a composite navigation system providing "added value" so defined if work stations provide Multi-Function Displays(MFDs) integrating information and functions for navigational tasks. Even though the minimum requirements for an INS are defined by IMO performance standards, a generic list of the devices and functions that constitute an INS does not exist, so the configuration of the INS is different for each manufacturer, and guidelines based on users' perspectives are also insufficient. This study was conducted to enhance the usability of the INS by analyzing the information required by users according to the ship's operating status and tasks and effectively structuring it in the MFD of the INS. By analyzing INS-related international standards and manufacturers' component equipment lists, mandatory navigation information was selected and card sorting tests were conducted on ship operators with experience in using MFDs to group the information required for each INS task. The results of the study can serve as a basic guideline for manufacturers to structure information based on users' experience when designing products.

  • Live commerce has recently received substantial attention due to the spread of the non-face-to-face consumption culture driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. Live commerce has a higher purchase conversion rate than other forms of commerce. Accordingly, the likelihood of impulse buying in a live commerce environment is expected to be high. However, there is a shortage of research on consumer impulse buying in the live commerce environment. This study designs a scenario-based experiment using the integrated model of consumption impulse formation and enactment. Through this method, this study validates the influence of the characteristics of live commerce (i.e., vicarious experience and real-time interaction) on consumers' likelihood of impulse buying and further examines the moderating role of a live commerce host feature (i.e., professionalism) in these relationships. The results of this study confirm that both vicarious experience and real-time interaction have a positive effect on consumers' likelihood of impulse buying and that professionalism strengthens the impact of vicarious experience on the likelihood of impulse buying. This study's scenario-based experimental design is meaningful because it analyzes the likelihood of impulse buying in the context of live commerce shopping. Additionally, it provides live commerce service and platform providers with practical insights into how to maximize profits and operate services more efficiently.

  • This research is a case study to make sure the enhancement of students' imagination and creativity through developing and applying the Literature-Art-Science Integrated Education Program. Its research object was totally 25 persons of 29 students of the 1st to the 4 th Grades from Gunsan Sulsan Elementary School. Its research period lasted for 4 months from September to December, 2017, and I, as the research place, used the art room at Gunsan Sulsan Elementary School. The programs were totally 10 sessions with a unit of 1 session per each grade for 2 hours from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon from Monday through Friday. I fixed ten themes of this program-eight plane modeling, and two solid modeling, and finished the work of storytelling during summer vacation. And I arranged their levels as low:middle:high(3:5:2) ones. The former was 'A Film of Monster Gorilla'(L), 'Learning the Spirit of Gyeongju Choi's Family'(M), 'A Tale of My Friend Made of Natural Materials'(L), 'The Reading of My Dream'(M), 'Gathering the Objects in My Mobile'(M), 'A Mock Trial of Marrying Off'(M), 'Painting My Favorite Children's Poem'(H), and 'Painting My Favorite Children's Song'(H), and the latter was 'Seeking for a Bluebird in My Mind'(L), and 'Making My Cherished Object' (M). Then I used the unique art expression technique per each theme, which were in sequence marbling, Korean paper art, combine painting, collage, imaginary painting, imaginary painting, play dough art, imaginary painting techniques. And I delivered to the students the scientific knowledge in terms of growing or manufacturing processes of materials used for making artworks. Prior to and after the processing this program, I surveyed about the students' ability of integrated thinking and emotional experience by 'Figure B Type' and 'Figure A Type' of The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking, and took statistics with the resultant data. And I executed a paired t-test in order to verify the significance of mean difference in the result of investigation with those data. From the analyzed result according to the elements of creativity and the mean quotients of creativity, there showed a significant difference (t=3.47, p<.01) in 'fluency', and also a significant difference(t=3.59, p<.01) in 'creativity.' Judging from the statistic values of two fields such as the student's ability of integrated thinking and emotional experience, I estimate that over the majority of the students showed the enhancement in self-confident creative expression as well as higher interest and concern through this program. The result that I arranged and analyzed the making process of artworks, the photos of the resultant, etc. as such is as follows : Firstly, from this program being proceeded as art-centered STEAM class, the student's systematic problem-solving ability was improved in his ability of integrated thinking to transform the literary contents into artistic one. Secondly, the student obtained the emotional experience such as interest in the class, self-confidence, intellectual satisfaction, self-fulfillment, etc. through art-centered STEAM class using ten art expression techniques. Thirdly, the student's mind willing to cooperate, communicate with his friends, and care for them was ripened in the process of problem-solving. Fourth, the student's self-confidence was further instilled when presenting famous artists and their artworks in the introduction and finale of ten art expression techniques. Likewise, the statistic values on the fields of student's ability of integrated thinking and emotional experience illustrate that over the majority of the students showed improvement in the ability of creative expression with confidence as well as higher interest and concern upon this program.

  • This study examined human rights perception, cultural diversity perception, level of character perception, and influencing factors for university students in order to prepare basic data on integrated education methods of character, human rights and cultural diversity and education program models. The research questions are as follows. 1. What are university students' perceptions of character, cultural diversity and human rights? 2. What is the status of the experience of family life education on character, cultural diversity, and human rights, and is it related to the level of perception? 3. What variables affect character perception, cultural diversity perception, and human rights perception? The survey targeted 407 students at two universities in Seoul and used IBM PASW Statistics as a tool to analyze data. The study results are as follows. First, university students' character, cultural diversity and human rights perception were above average; however, empirical education is still required because they had low scores in the area of action. Second, male university students have less experience in family life education on character, cultural diversity and human rights compared to female university students. Third, it is necessary to integrate education for character, cultural diversity and human rights because the most influential factors in character perception, cultural diversity perception and human rights perception were character education. The role of family life education should be considered important because personality education in the home showed a relatively high correlation.
