통합적 간호시뮬레이션 실습교육 효과의 지속성 (Persistence of Integrated Nursing Simulation Program Effectiveness)

  • Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the persistency of effects of an integrated nursing simulation program on interest in learning, recognition of importance of communication, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Method: Forty-seven nursing students were recruited for this quasi-experimental design research. The experimental group (n=23) performed the simulation program for two weeks, and the control group (n=24) performed traditional clinical nursing practice for two weeks. Data were collected at baseline, immediately after the intervention, at 4 weeks, and finally at 8 weeks. Results: With respect to all variables, no significant differences were found between the experimental group and the control group. Interest in learning showed a significant increase in the control group (F=3.59, p=.018) at 4 weeks, and there was a significant increase in problem-solving abilities in the experimental group (F=4.98, p=.004) immediately after the intervention. Conclusion: Findings from this study suggest that the integrated nursing simulation program is as effective as the traditional clinical nursing practice, and the integrated nursing simulation program could be used as an alternative.

철도 통합무선망 운영관리 시스템의 모델기반 설계에 관한 연구 (Model-Based Design of Operational Management System for Integrated Wireless Communication Network of Korean Railway Systems)

  • 철도를 통한 승객 및 화물 운송의 수요가 증대함에 따라 철도 교통량 및 혼잡도가 증가하여 이에 따른 사고발생 가능성의 상승과 승객서비스 품질의 저하가 중요한 문제로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 문제들에 대한 해결책의 하나로 철도운영에 이용되는 통신서비스망의 통합을 통한 망의 고품질화가 최근에 많은 주목을 받게 되었다. GSM-R이 그러한 요구에 부응하는 유럽에서 개발된 통합 철도통신망인데, 망 자체의 속도 제한 때문에 다양하고 고품질이 요구되는 철도통신 서비스를 제공하는 데에는 제약이 있음이 알려져 있다. 이에 국내에서는 차세대 통신수단인 LTE 기반의 첨단 철도 통합무선망 구축에 관한 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 하지만 철도 통합무선망 자체에 대한 구축이 이루어진다 해도, 통합 통신망을 운영하고 관리하는 시스템이 필요한데 관련 연구가 미흡하다. 본 연구에서는 구축되는 철도 통합무선망을 위한 망의 운영관리 시스템에 대해 연구하는 것이 목표이다. 이를 위해 모델 기반 접근법을 통해 통신망 운영관리 시스템에 대한 개념설계를 수행하였다. 운영관리 시스템 설계에 있어서 먼저 운영관리의 개념을 명확하게 하는 것이 중요하기 때문에, 유스 케이스 다이어그램을 통해 시스템 컨텍스트 모델을 생성하였다. 또한 운영관리 개념의 명확성을 확보하기 위해서 모델링 표준언어인 SysML을 사용하여 운영 시나리오 모델을 생성하였다. 계속해서 SysML 모델들을 EFFBD 모델로 변환한 후 모델 시뮬레이션 및 검증을 수행하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서 보고된 연구 결과는 향후 운영관리 시스템의 개발 단계에서 상세설계를 진행할 때 기본 토대로 활용될 수 있다.

  • This paper presents a computing system, called MEDICOS. that enables Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) technology for engineering design on distributed environments. In MDO, various legacy softwares have to be Integrated, so dynamic configuration and seamless coordination between these legacy softwares must be supported. MEDICOS is designed to address these issues by the Linda shared memory model-based design and the agent-based wrapper technology. A prototype system for engineering designs is developed and tested with designing a super high temperature vacuum furnace.

Heterarchical SFCS를 위한 ICPL 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of ICPL for Heterarchical SFCS)

  • This paper deals with the design and development of a real-time integrated communication architecture for heterarchical SFCS(Shop Floor Control System). In autonomous agent-based heterarchical SFCS, each functional unit of parts and resources is equipped with an intelligent controller (agent) that acts as the representative of the entity. The controllers communicate and negotiate with other controllers on a real-time basis through message passing and bidding protocol to achieve mutual agreements for task sharing. ICPL(Integrated Communication Protocol and Language) is proposed for this purpose. ICPL is a language and a protocol for supporting communication among intelligent controllers. Based on the speech act theory, this paper proposes a semantic description for ICPL that associates the description of the cognitive states of controllers with the use of language primitives (message_type). Semantics for the basic set of ICPL messages is described. Eventually, an ICPL-based communication architecture can provide the implementation of the distributed and heterarchical SFCS, and makes the intelligent controller transparent to the negotiation problem.

  • WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments) 통신 시스템은 차량 간 무선통신을 가능하게 해주는 환경을 지원한다. 무선통신의 활용이 증가함에 따라 그에 따른 공격 방법도 다양해져, 패킷들은 통신 시 제3자에 의해 변조될 수 있다. 본 논문은 CA(Certificate Authority)와 차량이 통신 과정에서 ECIES(Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme)를 이용하여 자신이 적합한 호스트임을 인증 받고, AES(Advanced Encryption Standard) 알고리즘을 이용하여 패킷의 기밀성과 무결성을 보장하는 프로토콜을 제안하였다.

  • This Paper Proposes a new efficient system design strategies for the acoustic-based underwater multiple modem and media access control protocol. The system aims to establish the acoustic-based communication network of an underwater vehicles for deep sea mining, which ensures a certain level of maximum throughput regardless of the propagation delay of acoustic and allows fast data transmission through the acoustic-based multiple channel. A media access control protocol for integrated communication network and it's acoustic-based communication modems that allows 'peer-to-peer' communication between a surface mining plant multiple underwater system is designed, and the proposed media access control protocol is implemented for its verification. Furthermore, a proposed design strategies which make it possible to control the multiple vehicle for an underwater mining is presented in this paper.

  • We propose a taper-underlaid spot-size converter (TU-SSC) with an offset which consists of two vertically stacked taper layers. The designed TU-SSC reduces coupling loss of a high index-contrast waveguide with $1.5%{\Delta}$ to a single mode fiber from 1.5 dB to 0.27 dB. We also considered the effects of mask misalignment in the fabrication process of TU-SSC, and optimized the design of TU-SSC so that the additional loss of TU-SSC for the mask misalignment of $3{\mu}m$ in the photo-lithography process was as low as 0.13 dB.

  • A novel planar lightwave circuit(PLC) triplexer using a three-waveguide interferometer(TWI) is proposed and examined using the transfer matrix and the beam propagation methods. The proposed triplexer consists of two three-waveguide couplers and three waveguides connecting the couplers. Simulation for the TWI triplexer shows the excess losses of 0.03 dB and 0.94 dB with the crosstalks of -22.3 dB and -14.5 dB in reception, respectively, for the wavelength of 1490- and 1550-nm, while showing the excess loss of 1.75 dB in transmission for the wavelength of 1310 nm. The proposed design shows compact feature as short as 11.5 mm for the refractive-index contrast of 0.45%.

  • A small, highly-trained crew working on the ship's automation has contributed to the improvement of operation efficiency and the labor environment on board ship. However, at the same time, having a small crew adds more responsibility to the ship's officers to safely operate and manage the ship. Recently, development on the system to concentrate important information being scattered at the various pieces of navigational equipment has been actively studied, using information and computer technology. The purpose of this study is to set up and implement an integrated marine data networking and communication system on the training-research ship. Information relating to navigation, engine and office automation were investigated and analyzed, and implementation methods associated with navigation, engine and the management information system were designed and presented. In addition, the networking system and navigational signal interface unit for the integrated communication system, and the data communication method between the ship and land are also discussed.
