TV White Space 송수신기의 스펙트럼 센싱을 위한 RF 에너지 검출 회로 설계 (Design of RF Energy Detector for Spectrum Sensing in TV White Space Transceiver)

  • TV 대역 White Space 송수신기에서 스펙트럼 센싱을 위한 RF 에너지 검출기 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 에너지 검출기는 RF 능동 필터 구조에 기반하며, RF 저잡음 증폭기에 고역통과필터를 포함하는 피드포워드 루프를 추가함으로써 원하는 RF 주파수 성분만 통과시키고 그 외의 대역은 감쇄시키는 동작을 수행한다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 구조가 갖는 단점인 단측파 대역만 억압할 수 있는 문제를 해결하고자 양측파 대역을 동시에 억압할 수 있는 새로운 구조를 제안하였고, 간단한 시스템 모델링을 통해 구성요소의 Non-ideality에 의한 RF 에너지 검출기 성능에 대한 영향을 평가하였다. 또한, 시스템 시뮬레이션을 통해 양측파대역이 효과적으로 감쇄되어 RF 에너지 검출기로서 동작할 수 있음을 보였다.

우유 및 유제품 중 잔류항생물질 분석법에 대한 연구 (Overview of Analytical Methods for Detection of Antibiotics in Milk and Dairy Products)

  • Antibiotic residues are undesirable in milk and milk products for a number of reasons. In particular, they can have harmful effects on public health and harm to the manufacturer of the cultured milk products, e.g. MRSA etc. Although government regulatory agencies and the dairy industry have been successful in decreasing the presence of high concentrations of antibiotic residues, violations still occur and lead to contaminated products. As a result, several rapid and reliable methods for the detection of antibiotic residues have been developed, including microbiological and instrumental analysis methods. The conventional methods are time consuming, but recent improvements have allowed for better detection time, sensitivity, and accuracy. An example of an advanced detection instrument is the biosensor, which has several applications in food and environmental science, e.g. food-born pathogen detection, antimicrobial residues etc. In the present review, the recent trends in the methods used to test for antibiotic residues in milk and dairy products, as well as their specific applications, have been discussed.

고등학교 청소년의 적응유연성 영향요인 (Predictors of Resilience for High School Adolescents)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to find out the relationship among resilience, coping mechanism, social support and family strengths and to explore the predictors for school adolescents' resilience. Method: The subjects of this study were 296 high school adolescents residing in two urban area in Korea. The subjects completed self-report questionnaires measuring Resilience(Jew, et al., 1997), Coping Mechanism(Carver, et al., 1989), Social Support(Lee, 1997) and Family Strengths(Olson 1982). Results: Socio-demographic characteristics of school adolescents influencing resilience, coping mechanism, social support and family strengths were revealed. The results showed that resilience, problem-focused coping, social support and family strengths were correlated positively and self-esteem support, problem-focused coping, sibling's and mother's help, and instrumental support were the predictors of resilience of school adolescents. Conclusion: We found out the specific attributes of individual, social and family factors which predict resilience for school adolescents. These results may suggest further studies to investigate the relationship between stress and resilience, find out other predictors of resilience for Korean school adolescents, examine whether protective factors for adolescents' problem behaviors influence similarly on resilience.

구조물(構造物)의 동적해석(動的解析)을 위한 한반도(韓半島)의 인공지진파(人工地震波) 작성(作成) (Generation of Artificial Acceleration-Time Histories for the Dynamic Analysis of Structures in the Korean Peninsula)

  • 본 논문에서는 시간이력곡선법에 의한 구조물의 동적해석이 가능하도록 한반도 지진 특성을 고려한 인공지진파 작성에 관한 연구를 시도하였다. 인공지진파 작성에 유용한 포락함수와 유효지속시간은 관측지진파의 분석 결과를 적용하고, 가속도는 지진구역도에서 평가된 최대 값으로 결정하였다. 특히 인공지진파는 지반조건과 진원지 거리에 따라 형태가 다르게 나타나는 특성을 고려했다. 추계학적 방법으로 작성한 인공지진파의 최대가속도는 0.2g 이고, 유효지속시간은 24초이다. 그리고 인공지진파의 신뢰성 검토는 지진파의 포락함수 비교와 설계응답스펙트럼에 도시된 지진파의 응답 결과로 확인되었다.

의류제품유형 및 성별에 따른 구매후 만족에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Post-purchase Satisfaction of Clothing related to Clothing Type and Sex)

  • The type of product and consumer characteristis have known to play an important role in the post-purchase behavior. The issue related to the effects of clothing type and sex on the process of consumer satisfaction formation, would be helpful to understand the past-purchase consumer behavior. Therefore, the objective of this study was to clarify differences in the process of satisfaction formation in relation to clothing type and sex. The study was conducted in three steps. Through the two steps, measurement instruments were developed. At the last step, judgement sampling method was utilized to collect the data and subjects were 614 university students. Factor analysis and path analysis were used to analyze the data. The process of consumer satisfaction formation in formal wear and casual wear showed some differences. In the case of format wear, only expressive product performance was found to play an important role in the process of consumer satisfaction formation. However in the case of casual wear, both expressive and instrumental product performances had influence upon clothing satisfaction directly or through consumption emotion. The results revealed a similar tendency in the process of satisfaction formation between male and female groups. However in the male group the consumption emotion had a greater effect on the process of consumer satisfaction formation than in the female group it did.

도시지역 여성노인의 우울, 주관적 신체증상 일상생활 수행능력에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Depression, Somatic Symptom, Activities of Daily Living for, the Elderly Women in an Urban Area)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among depression, somatic symptoms, and activities of daily living of elderly women in urban areas. Method: After obtaining participant's consent forms, a one-time, face-to-face, and private interview was conducted with each participant from Sep, 2006 to Jan, 2007 by trained graduate-level students. The questionnaire consisted of K-GDS, PHQ-15, Barthel Index, and Instrumental Activity of Daily Living. The collected data was analyzed with the SPSS/PC 12.0 program, which was used for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results: The major findings of this study were as follows 1) 34.1% of participants belonged to the depression group. 2) There were significant relationships between depression and monthly income, somatic symptoms, ADL, IADL, and number of chronic disease. 3) Significant factors influencing depression were somatic symptoms, ADL, and monthly income. Conclusion: The results of this study give useful information for designing interventions and program development for appropriate depression management and care for elderly women.

조경이론으로서의 환경미학 (Environmental Aesthetics as a Landscape Architectural Theory)

  • This essay addresses the role of environmental aesthetics in landscape architecture : how can environmental aesthetics enrich landscape architectural theory and practice\ulcorner It begins by criticizing the predominant notions toward theory : theory as an instrumental design method, theoretical vacuum in modernism of landscape architecture, and the intimate relation of theory and practice in 18th-century England. It suggests that the expulsion of theory in landscape architectural academics and profession is nothing but an inappropriate bias. In the second place, the essay explores a remaining question : why environmental aesthetics is a part of landscape architectural theory\ulcorner I would argue that environmental aesthetics can transcend the man-nature(subject-object) dichotomy, one of heritages of Western modernity project. Here, landscape architecture meets environmental aesthetics, and both can intermediate between theory and practice. For landscape architecture is (and ought to be) a device of embodied communication, creating symbolic settings wherein an interconnection of man and nature can occur. Finally, this essay examines the aesthetics of engagement that Arnold Berleant claimed recently. This theory of aesthetic experience has a possibility of making corrections some improper conventions in landscape architectural creation and appreciation : disinterested contemplation, visual-orientedness, decoration-denteredness, and so forth. I would conclude that environmental aesthetics can be a significant theory which can correct misconceptions in landscape design and appreciation and, further, can lead contemporary practice. As the great mediator between man and nature, between theory and practice, environmental aesthetics has a profound role to play in the realm of landscape architecture, and vice versa.

취약계층 노인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인 - PRECEDE 모형 적용 - (Quality of Life of Older Adult with Home Health Services - Applied PRECEDE Model -)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine factors that affect poor quality of life (QOL) of older adults who received home health service. Method: The sample 492 older adults participated in the study. The QOL was measured using the scale of QOL of Ware and other data were collected through face-to-face interviews from September to August, 2009. Results: The level of QOL was moderate (Mean 24.4, SD 7.4). The QOL was poorer in older adults (p<.05) and in those living alone (p<.01) compared to older adults and those living with couple or family respectively. The QOL was positively correlated with a sense of mastery (r=.213, p<.05), connection of health (r=.160, p<.05) and a cognitive function (r=.119, p<.01), and negatively correlated with Activities of Daily Living (r=-.266, p<.01) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (r=-.339, p<.01). Sense of mastery, connection of health & welfare, and IADL were significant predictors of QOL. Conclusion: Finding suggest that home health service program should incorporate strategies for increasing sense of mastery and capability of performing IADL, and strengthening connection of health service that may improve QOL of older home health service recipients.

투과전자현미경에 타소질 불순물의 오염 최소화를 위한 실험 조건 (Experimentally Minimized Contaminative Condition of Carbonaceous Artifacts in Transmission Electron Microscope)

  • Contaminative artifacts such as carbonaceous materials on carbon-coated microgrids are unavoidable, which is induced by electron beam exposure inside electron microscopes. This phenomenon raise a source to produce confusing information to the samples investigated by analytical TEM, which should be alleviated as much as possible. As experimental precautions for reducing this unwanted effect, the use of $LN_2$ cooled anti-contaminator and pre-illumination of electron beam at low magnification can be helpful. Nevertheless, we should be cautious to set an illumination condition for microanalysis because the contaminative effect is dependent with the types of irradiation situations, which is well known to be a decisive factor for causing the carbonaceous artifacts. Accordingly, it is necessary that optimal illumination to minimize the contaminative effect should be selected for improving the accuracy of microanalysis. In this paper, we introduce the practical method to determine the optimal illumination condition by evaluating the contaminative effect as a function of instrumental spot size, which is directly linked with electron current density.

국가기본도 수치지도제작 과정에서 입출력장비에 따른 위치정확도 분석 (The Analysis of Positional Accuracy with Input/Output Instruments in Digital Mapping of National Base Map)

  • 일반적으로 수치지도제작을 수행하기 위해서는 종이에 인쇄된 원도를 컴퓨터상에서 작업할 수 있는 수치자료로 변환하는 자료입력과정과 작업이 끝난 자료를 출력하는 도면출력과정에 입출력장비가 이용된다. 본 연구에서는 수치지도 작업과정에 수반되는 입력장비중 벡터형태의 자료를 직접적으로 생성할 수 있는 장점에 의해 부분 도화된 수정도화 원도의 입력시 주로 이용되는 디지타이저와, 작업의 용이성 에 의해 주로 원도의 입력과정에 이용되는 스캐너에 대해 작업방법 및 입출력장비 특성에 따른 위치오차를 분석하였으며, 출력장비에 따른 위치오차분석에서는 플로터방식과 출력도면의 재질에 따른 위치정확도를 분석하였다.
