암환자의 삶의 질 도구개발 (Development of Quality of Life Measurement for Cancer Patients)

  • This study was undertaken to develop an instrument to be used for measuring the concept of quality of life of Korean patients with cancer multidimensionary and correctly. It can contribute in holistic nursing care for Korean cancer patients and also provide and validate basic data to help oncology nurses measure the outcome of nursing intervention correctly. To develop this instrument, the researchers first estabilished a conceptual framework based on the results of qualitative data analysis and indepth interview method Development of the scale was conducted using a method in which 31 items were assessed by subjects' self report using linear analogue scales. The subjects were 79 D.M. patients, 103 patients with acute illness, and 91 cancer patients residing in Busan, Korea. Data were collected during the period from July, 24 to August 14, 2000. This instrument consisted of 31 items with a self report scale. This instrument covered 4 dimensions of cancer patients : 1) physical wellbeing 2) psychological wellbeing 3) social wellbeing and 4)spiritual wellbeing. Each item had a possible score of 10. The reliability of the scale was tested with Cronbach's alpha. Validity was evaluated by examining the relationships of this scale, Youn's Quality of Life Questionnare scores and the Simple Quality of Life scale. Two separate runs of multiple regression were used to predict scores on the Simple Quality of Life measurement. Further validation was obtained by examining the correlation between the instrument subscores and Youn's Quality of Life measurement subscore for convergence of this scale. Examination of the discriminant. power of the instrument was done using ANOVA test. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The reliability of the instrument for the quality of life was 0.8321(Cronbach's alpha.), physical wellbeing dimension 0.6343, psychological wellbeing dimension 0.6501, spiritual wellbeing dimension 0.5883. 2. This instrument had a high correlation with Youn's Quality of Life measurement(r= 0.636) in cancer patients, whereas it had a low correlation with Simple Quality of Life measurement(r=0.455) in cancer patients. In the D.M. patients, the instrument correlated with both the Youn's Quality of Life measurement and Simple Quality of life measurement(r=0.313, r= 0.407) and in the acute stage patients, the instrument had no correlation. 3. Multiple regression of individual items on the Simple Quality of Life scores accounted for 56.8% of the variance in the Simple Quality of Life measurement, whereas, Youn's Quality of Life measurement scores accounts for 31.7%. 4. The correlations collected from the three group had the same patterns of variations but especially the instrument developed in this study had higher disciminant power than that of Youn's Quality of Life Measurement.

한국형 기동헬기 계기비행 인증절차 및 비행시험 결과 (Instrument Flight Certification Process and Flight Test Results of Korean Utility Helicopter)

  • 본 논문에서는 한국형 기동헬기의 계기비행 인증절차 및 주요 비행시험 결과를 제시하였다. 한국형 기동헬기의 계기비행 인증을 위해 장착된 계기 및 장비의 적합성을 검토하였으며, 지상 및 비행시험을 통해 검증하였다. 아울러 항공기가 충분한 종축, 횡축 및 방향축에 대한 정안정성 및 동안정성을 보유하고 있는지를 확인하기 위해 FAR-29 Appendix B에 따라 시험을 실시하였다. 정안정성은 주로 조종입력에 대한 항공기의 속도 및 자세 변화를 통해 판단하였으며, 동안정성은 장주기 및 단주기 입력 후 항공기 거동이 얼마나 빨리 수렴하는지를 통해 평가하였다. 조종사의 임무부하 평가는 IMC 모사 비행시험을 통해 이뤄졌다. 본 논문에서는 항공기가 정상적인 상황뿐만 아니라 비행조종, 엔진 및 계기 등에 고장이 발생한 상황에 대한 임무부하 평가결과도 함께 제시하였다. IMC 모사 비행시험이 완료된 이후에는 실제 IMC 환경에서 항공관제에 맞춰 실제 계기비행시험을 실시하였다.

과학수업에서 교사에 의해 조성되는 심리적 학습환경측정 도구개발 (Development of the Psychological Learning Environment Instrument Generated by Science Teachers in the Science Instruction)

  • 이 연구는 과학수업에서 교사로부터 조성되는 심리적 학습환경을 조사하기 위한 도구개발이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 구조화된 면담지와 개방적 질문지를 이용하여 과학교사 및 학생들의 학습환경에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 교사 38명, 학생 1,270명이 연구 대상으로 표집되었다. 문헌조사 및 우리 나라 학생들의 과학교사에 대한 반응유형 분석을 통하여 심리적 환경범주, 세부범주, 세부평가 척도등이 결정되었다. 1, 2차 현장 검사를 통하여 교사특성, 수업행동, 지원적 행동 등의 환경범주와 9개의 세부범주가 조사되었다. 최종 개발된 PLEIS는 45문항의 학습환경평가 문항으로 내적 일관성이 높고 구성 타당도가 확인되었다. 개발된 조사도구는 교사의 효율성 평가도구나 학생들의 긍정적인 학습환경 조성을 위한 교수전략에 활용될 수 있다. 특히, 교육현장에서 과학교육을 담당하고 있는 교사들은 본 조사도구를 이용하여 학생들이 과학에 대해서 편안한 마음을 지니고 학습에 임할 수 있도록 하는 학습분위기 조성과 과학수업에 대한 학생들의 평가를 통하여 수업반성이나 수업전략에 대한 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.

초등학생 환경 소양 측정 도구의 개발 (The Development of the Environmental Literacy Instrument for the Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for measuring elementary school students' environmental literacy. The process of instrument development was four phases. The first two phases involved defining the domain of the construct, writing an initial pool of 55 items, and reviewing the items for revision and deletion. These steps were taken to provide the evidence of content-related validity, and to reduce a number of items. The third phase was, through item analysis, to determine the most appropriate items for the environmental literacy for the elementary school students. For the forth phases, the fifth and sixth students in elementary school participated in this survey. To examine the reliability and validity of environmental literacy for the elementary school students, internal consistency estimate, and factor analysis were used. The results of this study were summarized as follows; Firstly, thorough factor analysis, we developed Environmental Literacy Instrument for the elementary school students, consisted of total 41 items (knowledge 8 items, emotion 11 items, skill 10 items, and behavior 13 items); Secondly, Cronbach's alpha was .783 for knowledge, .832 for emotion, .866 for skill and 8.61 for behavior.

한국형 가족 기능 측정 도구 개발을 위한 연구 - 만성질환아 가족을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Development of the Korean Family Functioning Scale.)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the instrument to measure family functioning for Korean family with a chronic ill child, and to test the validity and reliability of the instrument. Method: The items of instrument were consisted based on researchers' previous study of concept analysis of the Korean family functioning. Twenty six item scale was developed with six domains. In order to test reliability and validity of the scale, data were collected from the 231 families, who have a child with a chronic illness. Data was collected between August and September in 2001 in a General Hospital in Seoul, Korea. Result: The results were as follows: As a result of the item analysis, 24 items were selected from the total of 26 items, excluding items with low correlation with total scale. Six factors were evolved by factor analysis. Six factors explained 61.4% of the total variance. The first factor 'Affective bonding' explained 15.4%, 2nd factor 'External relationship' 11.8%, 3rd factor 'Family norm' 10.5%, 4th factor 'Role and responsibilities' 8.3%, 5th factor ' Communication' 7.9%, and the 6th factor 'Financial resource' explained 7.3%. Cronbach's $\alpha$ coefficient of this scale was .87 and Guttman spilt- half coefficient was .84. Conclusion: The study support the reliability and validity of the scale. There were distinct differences in dimensions of family functioning scales developed in the U. S.
