The Composition of Curriculum to Improve ICT Instructional Media Competency of Early Childhood Teacher (유아교사의 ICT 수업매체 역량 강화를 위한 교육과정 구성 방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an ICT-oriented teacher curriculum in order to improve early childhood teacher's competency using ICT instructional media. To this end, a survey was conducted to investigate the importance and current level of early childhood teacher's competency. After identifying the necessity of ICT instructional media competency, the contents of an ICT-oriented teacher curriculum were designed. A survey of teacher competency among 207 teachers showed the highest educational need for ICT instructional media competency. In addition, ICT-based teacher curriculum was classified into ICT literacy education and ICT utilization education based on the analysis results of sub-indexes on ICT instructional media competency. Each part was hierarchized into three levels of awareness, application, and spread according to the teacher's competency level and the educational contents were suggested based on the goals set for each level. In this study, it consisted of ICT literacy education, including understanding educational policy related to ICT utilization, understanding the goals and assessment of the ICT curriculum and ICT utilization education, including the use of teaching and learning methods, application of digital technology, ICT learning environment building and management for developing teacher professionalism related to ICT instructional media.

  • Through WWW, one of Internet services, network infrastructure is grown explosively and web-based technologies have been developed tremendously. That technologies have had a potent influence on wide-area of society, so did educational area. Meanwhile, discussion is emphasized at school education because of its great advantages at a constructivist perspective and the part of performance assessment. But, there are many differences between web-based discuss-learning instruction and face to face discussion, because the former is based on interaction through the media especially networks. Consequently, in this paper, we look into about the consideration factors of the web-based discuss-learning instruction, and also study about the support system development factors and methods.

  • This paper investigates the integration strategies of school library into school's curriculum from a institutional point of view. For this purpose, this study compares and analyze the role and relationship of school library media program to school's curriculum in Korea, U.S., Japan. Basing on the comparative result, it proposed the school library relation element that must include in national level curriculum in Korea. To the element which it proposes it includes the compulsion assignment of school library assisted instruction. the time allocation of reading and information literacy instruction, the scope and sequence of information literacy instruction, the flexible schedule.

  • The purpose of this second one of the two consecutive papers, which carried out for the research, is to evaluate their relative effectiveness regarding instruction with such three presentation methods as video/print+ lecture, print/video, print+lecture/video, with which the library of Duk Sung Women's University applied already for the orientation of the freshmen in 1988. In sum, the major research findings are as follows : First, as the more numerous media were applied for the orientation, the instruction were more effective. Second, it is very interesting to find out that there were wide differences in effectiveness among the three presentation methods applied for the student. Especially, the print+ lecture/video method was more effective in the instruction than the print/video method. Surprisingly, the video/print + lecture method was much more effective than the print+ lecture/video method. With the research findings of this two consecutive papers into consideration, it seems safe to say that the video-tape method was most effective among such three orienting methods as lecture, slide-tape, and video tape, and the video/print+lecture method was most effective among such three presentation methods as video/print+lecture, print/video, and print+lecture/video.

  • The evolution of computing environments caused various dharges in our society. The change cj instruction media is one of these effects. WWW using network techndogy is regarded as a pov.powerful tool for rerrote instruction. The methods of utilizing network technologies in design instrudion and design process rould be diversified comparing with those of other general instruction. Computer graphics has been regarded as a very use!u design tool for its accuracy and rapidty. Network can help us to do creative work using cornplter graphics. The merits of this technology are sharing resources and rraking it easy to roIlaborate. Recent cxxnputer graphics instruction has some defects in oontents and methods. The oontents have a weak relationship with other industrial design subjects. From above, the purpose of this thesis is to use computer graphics and netv.urk technology for supporting basic design instruction. Virtual gallery using WWW can be a cyberspare v.tlere the evaluation of results and the exchange of information take plare. This tool makes it easier to oomrunicate and oollaborate with dassmates. A casestudy-Composition with basic objectswas exea.rted by individual for distributed asynchronous rmde. The results of this thesis are summarized for four factors. Rrst, it was easy to transform idea. Serond, student-oriented working was performed. Third, interaction among students was activated. Fourth, not only final results, but also midterm results was oonsidered for evaluation. These methods also have problems as rerent instruction methods, but it rould be used as a instruction tool to compensate for existing instruction methods.

  • This study is to investigate to the problems of school libraries in order to develop to a school media center from the place to circulate material to students, and provide the suggestion of a school library management for increasing student's productive ability. Inculding suggestions are: school library facilities and budgets, school librarian's recruit and policy, school librarian's professional role, cooperation instruction with teachers, cooperation instruction methods. This result can render development to school library.

  • The purpose of this study is to design and application of term project model for Game Math in flipped learning environment. In the term project self study model, students interacts with multi-instruction materials and multi-tutors on flipped learning. We develop a case for game update term project and implement it to a real Game Math classroom. As a result, we show the positive learning experiences focused on effects of technology and human relation through survey.

  • 본 논문은 High bit-depth 를 위한 SIMD (Single Instruction, Multiple Data) 명령어 기반 보간 필터 고속화 방법을 제안한다. 픽셀 연산을 기반으로 하는 보간 필터링은 HEVC 복호화기에서 높은 복잡도를 차지하고 있지만 반복적인 산술연산을 수행하기 때문에 SIMD 를 이용한 고속화에 적합한 구조를 가지고 있다. 이러한 이유로 본 논문에서는 보간 필터 연산에 대하여 SIMD 명령어를 이용하여 메모리를 효율적으로 사용하여 고속화하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기술은 HEVC 참조 소프트웨어 HM 12.0-RExt 4.1 에 기반을 둔 ANSI C 기반 자체 개발 HEVC RExt 복호화기 소프트웨어에서 평균 8.5%의 복호화 속도향상을 보였으며, 보간 필터의 수행 시간을 평균 24.8% 향상시켰다.

A Cyber Educational Environment on the Web using WMT (WMT를 이용한 웹 기반 가상교육 환경)

  • A long-distance education method using the computational environment has been developed and implemented for quite some time. However, there has been some difficulty in the simulation of face-to-face instruction due to limitations in performance of the computers and the networks. Continued development of multimedia technologies has now made it possible to simulate face-to-face instruction, recording the teachers' instructions in the form of a screen dump. In this paper, we propose a system that allows the teacher to make loaming materials available on the Web using Window Media Technology(WMT). This technology also allows remote site users to view the contents at their convenience. A media encoder acquires the lessons and stores them as moving pictures. The lessons are displayed on the screen as the teacher explains them. The learning materials are stored in a Windows media file format, the file is stored on a lecture server and provided to the user using a streaming method in real time. The users can view the contents on the Web without requiring a special player. The proposed system consists of a lecture writer module, a lecture server module and a lecture client module.

  • This paper is to emphasize on important of reading books and leading instruction at the age of multi-media. And this paper observes the promotion of reading books fer children in all the world. Especially the role of public library is important for the promotion of reading books fur children. According]y this paper present plans for the promotion of reading books for children successfully. The role of public library is a mediator for book and children. We have to restore storytelling culture for forming cooperative culture and healing heart pain in the public library. And We have to found a children's library around the children's life, especially in the local government. We have to train children's librarian Immediately In educational institution. We have to enhance the specialization of children's room librarian in the public library.
