Analysis Technique of Risk Voltage around Grounding Electrode by New Touch and Step Voltage Measurement Methods (새로운 접촉 및 보폭전압 측정법에 의한 접지전극 주위의 위험전압 분석기법)

  • This paper describes the analysis technique of risk voltage around grounding electrode by new touch and step voltage measurement methods. We have analyzed three techniques for risk voltage measurement, such as footprint-electrode method, test-probe method, and simulated-personnel method. We have selected test-probe method considering applicability of site. In order to reduce error related to the location of the auxiliary electrode, we propose a new approach to perform risk voltage measurement with minimum errors and short auxiliary electrode distances. Field tests were carried out at a grounding grid. It can be concluded that the proposed method will be satisfactory for risk voltage measurement.

  • The existing power flow has a single direction to the line end but the bidirectional power flow will possibly occur depending on the output capacity in the 22.9[kV] distribution power system connected with the dispersed generation(DG). So these characteristics would influence the power system management. The DG have many advantages such as assistance source, Load share etc. So the utility must apply the bidirectional protection system so as to maximize an advantage of DG. This paper describes the field test case of bidirectional protective device in order to investigate the device performance when applied to bidirectional power system. We have tested in the power system test site of KEPCO and these tests provide the basis for performance verification test of bidirectional protective device in the power system.

  • Recently, interests in renewable energy have gradually increased. Of various renewable energy, Photovoltaic system has the properties affected by weather. This paper discusses the economic evaluation based on insolation data analysis. Real insolation data were obtained by radiation measurement device installed in projected photovoltaic system site during 20 months. Obtained real insolation data were standardized using clear day analysis. Standardized data are greater than obtained real insolation data and were used as parameters of RETScreen for the economic evaluation. In results, capacity(30[kW]) of soon cheon is shown the most B/C(1.20). Applied methods have effectively done to develop photovoltaic system.

  • This paper describes the up-grade of the turbine governor for steam turbine due to its poor operation from long time use. The analog type governor of the unit 1 in Kori nuclear power plant in Korea was removed and the new digital type turbine governor was developed and installed. The procedure for the actual application, site adaptability test using dynamic simulator and the result of actual operation are described here. And the program for nuclear steam turbine is suggested here.

  • Although gangform has good workability due to the integration of outer wall forms and working platforms, 22 workers were died from 21 gangform related accidents during 2012 to 2016. Quantitative risk assessment is required for evident based prevention measure selection. In this study, based on 52 accident data from 2004 to the first half of 2019, FTA is conducted for probabilities of direct causes and their contribution to accidents. Three stages are considered; gangform installation, dismantling and lifting, and using. The effectiveness of countermeasures is evaluated through minimum cut set, RAW and RRW. Complete assembly of gangform on the ground level, detailed planning, and fall prevention device are suggested as prevention measures for installation, dismantling and lifting, and using stages, respectively.

  • A measurement technique in an industry site is basis technique which is bringing a ripple effect on an increasing productivity. Recently, a measurement request is increasing in the industry field as well as the variety field such as leisure, research. Thus, it is in point of time to secure an internal technique about measurement using a laser. In this paper, we prepare to develop the industrial precision laser distance measure device that is available measuring in several hundred meters[m]. In other words, we are planning to measure a wide distance using a laser diode that has long life and is compact, inexpensive. Through this research, we'll secure the pulse laser control technique, a signal processing, technique for distance calculation about a laser distance measurement system. And hereafter, we'll plan to commercialize a laser distance device using this research.

  • If obstacle in GIS(Gas Insulted Switchgear), its affects are great are on the community and it is consequently demanded lots of difficulities to recover and repair. Accordingly, diagnosis techniques, that are able to prevent from accidents before they happen by providing more stable and highly reliable power effectively and finding sign of the accidents is very important. The strip-senser measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is from 0.5[GHz] to 2.5[GHz] with the stop band from 0.5[GHz] to 1.7[GHz] for VSWR<2. The antenna is will play an important role for the senser for insulation diagnosis system by UHF method of real site GIS and power equipment using $SF_6$ gas.

  • The paper used to the Neral Netwok for a forecasting conservation system A neural network is a powerful data modeling tool that is able to capture and represent complex input/output relationships. The motivation for the development of neural network technology stemmed from the desire to develop an artificial system that could perform "intelligent" tasks similar to those performed by the human brain. The true power and advantage of neural network lies in their ability to represent both linear and non-linear relationships and in their ability to learn these relationships directly from the data being modeled. Form results of this study, the Neral Netwok is will play an important role for insulation diagnosis system of real site GIS and power equipment using $SF_6$ gas.

  • This paper is presenting the performance evaluation on the installed concrete panels. As a result of the evaluation, the resistance to track displacement of temporary support structure was improved and it resulted in the improvement of work stability during installation. And, by the application of new technology and the saving of concrete consumption, both workability and cost were improved and, therefore, the shorter project period and cost saving can be expected. Furthermore, as a result of noise & vibration measurement at site, it has shown good effects of anti-noise and anti-vibration. In conclusion, this process was proved as very effective for track improvement.

  • Noise generated from Construction site has been raised most civil complaints to 64.4 % among the environmental pollution in 2011. Therefore, local government recommends and prescribes that construction sites over a certain scale install sound level meter for noise monitoring. For example, Seoul has implemented a 24 hour noise monitoring system, with real time communication, to the large construction sites more than 10,000 $m^2$ from the end of August 2012. But it is difficult to use noise measurement data for the construction noise assessment, since the installation standards and technical specifications for construction noise monitoring system are not presented. In this paper, we proposed noise monitoring system improvement plan including technical specifications and installation standards using the investigating results of the problems of current noise monitoring system and the foreign cases.
