교량 점검신뢰도 분석법 개발과 향상방안 (Development of Bridge Inspection Reliability and Improvement Strategy)

  • 교량의 안전은 점검에 의해 보장된다. 그리고 교량의 유지관리는 점검결과를 토대로 시작된다. 따라서 점검결과는 '교량의 안전'과 '효율적인 유지관리'를 위한 가장 중요한 정보이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 교량의 점검신뢰도를 평가하고 이를 제고 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 교량의 점검신뢰도를 평가 할 수 있는 세 가지 점검신뢰도를 제시하였다: 명목점검신뢰도, 실질점검신뢰도, DS명목점검신뢰도. 교량의 점검신뢰도 분석 방법은 정밀안전진단결과를 참값으로 간주하고 당해년도 정밀(정기)점검과 차년도 정밀안전 진단결과를 비교하였다. 인적오류를 고려한 DS명목신뢰도를 기준으로 현재 고속도로교량의 점검신뢰도 85%로 양호한 편으로 평가 된다. 이는 현재 고속도로 교량의 평균공용연수가 13년으로 대부분의 교량이 'A'와 'B'등급에 집중적으로 분포되어 상태변화가 크지 않기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 점검신뢰도를 제고하기 위해서는 점검자의 역량을 강화하고 전문점검인력 육성이 필요하며 점검결과에 대해 QC(Quality Control, 품질관리)를 실시하여 점검결과의 신뢰도 향상이 필요하다.

  • This paper is to propose various quality and reliability sampling inspection methods to perform the competitive global outsourcing strategy while purchasing and subcontracting. The study also represents implementation strategy which can be efficiently and effectively used in the enterprise. Quality sampling inspection schemes extend reliability inspection techniques with a little change.

Model for Predicting Ultrasonic NDE Reliability and Statistical Data Analysis of Piping Inspection Round Robin

  • Ultrasonic inspection system consist of the examination procedures, equipment, and operators. The reliability of nondestructive testing is influenced by the inspection environment, materials and types of defect. It is very difficult to estimate the reliability of NDT due to the various factors. Piping inspection round robin was conducted to quantify the capability of ultrasonic inspection during in-service. In this study, the models for predicting the ultrasonic NDE reliability by logistic model and linear regression model are discussed. The utility of the NDT reliability assessment is verified by the analysis of the data from round robin test with these models.

목표 신뢰도를 고려한 원-샷 시스템의 최적검사정책 (Optimal Inspection Policy for One-Shot Systems Considering Reliability Goal)

  • A one-shot system (device) refers to a system that is stored for a long period of time and is then disposed of after a single mission because it is accompanied by a chemical reaction or physical destruction when it operates, such as shells, munitions in a defense weapon system and automobile airbags. Because these systems are primarily related with safety and life, it is required to maintain a high level of storage reliability. Storage reliability is the probability that the system will operate at a particular point in time after storage. Since the stored one-shot system can be confirmed only through inspection, periodic inspection and maintenance should be performed to maintain a high level of storage reliability. Since the one-shot system is characterized by a large loss in the event of a failure, it is necessary to determine an appropriate inspection period to maintain the storage reliability above the reliability goal. In this study, we propose an optimal inspection policy that minimizes the total cost while exceeding the reliability goal that the storage reliability is set in advance for the one-shot system in which periodic inspections are performed. We assume that the failure time is the Weibull distribution. And the cost model is presented considering the existing storage reliability model by Martinez and Kim et al. The cost components to be included in the cost model are the cost of inspection $c_1$, the cost of loss per unit time between failure and detection $c_2$, the cost of minimum repair of the detected breakdown of units $c_3$, and the overhaul cost $c_4$ of $R_s{\leq}R_g$. And in this paper, we will determine the optimal inspection policy to find the inspection period and number of tests that minimize the expected cost per unit time from the finite lifetime to the overhaul. Compare them through numerical examples.

  • Ultrasonic inspection system is consisted of the operator, equipment and procedure. The reliability of results in ultrasonic inspection is affected by its ability. Furthermore, the reliability of nondestructive testing is influenced by the inspection environment, other materials and types of defect. Therefore, it is very difficult to estimate the reliability of NDT due to various factors. In this study, the probability of detection, used logistic probability model and Monte Carlo simulation, estimated the reliability of ultrasonic inspection. The utility of the NDT reliability assesment is verified by the analysis of the data from round robin test applied these models.

  • Purpose: There is no established inspection system for composite wind blade during the fabrication stage even though the blades are one of the most important part at wind generation system, but phased array ultrasonic testing method has been continuously studied about wind turbine blade with composite. When wind turbine blade with complex shape by phased array probe is inspected, it is necessary to study for system keeping constant pressure using pressure device. Methods: In this paper, we propose constant pressure device for inspecting wind turbine blade by phased array ultrasonic test method. Design of the device controller is based on Hunt-Crossley model. We evaluate reliability of phased array ultrasonic inspection result that applicated constant pressure device. Result: Defect indication is precise and its error is small when constant pressure mechanism based on Hunt-Crossley model was used. Conclusion: When inspection is progressed using constant pressure mechanism, the reliability of composite wind blade inspection can be improved.

설계신뢰도 및 정기검사주기가 저장신뢰도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 일회성 군수장비 시스템을 대상으로 (A Study on the Effect of Design Reliability and Periodic Inspection Cycle on Storage Reliability : Focusing on One-shot Logistic Equipment System)

  • 장시간 저장되어 있다가 사용되는 일회성 군수장비 시스템의 경우, 저장 시간이 지남에 따라 저장신뢰도에 변화가 발생하게 된다. 이에 사용시점이 도래하였을 때 제품 사용에 있어 저장신뢰도가 중요한 품질특성으로 작용하게 되며, 기존의 연구들은 저장신뢰도 향상을 위하여 최적의 정기검사주기 산출을 위한 연구에 초점이 맞춰져 있었다. 본 연구에서는 정기검사주기 뿐 아니라 설계신뢰도를 포함한 분석을 통해 융합적인 관점에서 저장신뢰도에 두 인자가 얼마나 영향을 미치는지 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 일회성 시스템의 대표적인 제품인 유도탄에 기존의 Martinez 저장신뢰도 결정모델을 적용하여 각각 설계신뢰도와 정기검사주기가 미치는 정량적인 효과에 대하여 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과를 통해, 현 제품의 설계신뢰도 범주 내에서는 설계신뢰도보다는 정기검사주기 관리가 저장신뢰도 향상에 더 중요한 요인이라는 것을 확인해 볼 수 있었다.

  • The performance demonstration round robin test was conducted to quantify the capability of ultrasonic inspection for in-service and to address some aspects of reliability for nondestructive evaluation. The fifteen inspection teams who employed procedures that met or exceeded ASME Sec. XI code requirements detected the piping of nuclear power plant with various cracks to evaluate the capability of detection. With data from PD-RR test, the performance of ultrasonic nondestructive inspection could be assessed using probability of length and depth sizing of cracks.

  • In recent years, the deterioration of infrastructures is especially considered. In prestress concrete bridges, one of the important mechanisms of deterioration is the corrosion of the post-tensioned tendon due to environmental agents. In this study, the reliability analysis is performed for a prestress concrete box girder bridge under the pitting corrosion attack with considering the inspection and failure cost. The variation of life-time performance depending on inspection methods have to be quantified. The inspection methods with different accuracy of corrosion detection are presented and applied for model of reliability analysis. The computer program for analysis reliability index of the structure as well as updating process is obtained. An existing bridge is applied for illustrating the influence of inspection cost on the behaviors of structure. Subsequently, the benefit of inspection has shown to predict the time to failure of structure.
