Analysis of the Input of Education and Innovation on Economic Growth in Kazakhstan

  • Purpose: this study is aimed at assessing the contribution of education and innovation to the economic growth of Kazakhstan, the correlation between them is checked based on two levels on a national scale and a regional scale. Based on the literature review, it was revealed that in the vastness of the scientific community, there are many views concerning the influence of educational and innovative factors on economic growth. Research design, data and methodology: the research methodology is divided into two levels, at the first level, a correlation analysis is carried out between key factors and the economic growth of the country (GDP), at the second level, the same factors are analyzed, but the impact on the economic growth of the region (GRP) is estimated. Statistical data on educational and innovation potential is taken from the Bureau of National Statistics for the period 2003-2021. Results: in this study, it was revealed that the economic development of regions could be influenced by such indicators that cannot affect the entire state in aggregate and vice versa. In addition, the correlation analysis results showed that investments in innovations affect economic growth at the country and the regional level. Conclusions: based on the results of the assessment of educational and innovative potential, policy recommendations and further research in this area were proposed.

공무원 상사의 코칭리더십이 직원의 혁신행동과 협력행동에 미치는 영향: 인지적 유연성, 동료의 성장가능성에 대한 믿음의 매개효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effects of Civil Servant Superior's Coaching Leadership on Subordinates' Innovative and Cooperative Behaviors; Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Cognitive Flexibility and Belief of the Colleague's Potential Growth)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 공공기관 조직구성원의 혁신행동과 협력행동에 영향을 미치는 공무원 상사의 코칭리더십의 효과를 검증하고, 상사의 코칭리더십과 부하 직원의 혁신행동과 협력행동 사이에서 부하의 인지적 유연성, 동료의 성장 가능성에 대한 믿음의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 서울에 소재한 교육행정기관에 근무하는 공무원을 대상으로 상사 155명, 부하직원 442명 총 597부의 자료를 수집하여, 상사가 답변한 부하들의혁신행동과 협력행동의 측정값을 부하 직원의 응답 결과와 짝을 맞추어 부하직원의 데이터에 합친 후, 결측치와 불성실한 응답지를 제외한 총 397부의 데이터를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 공무원 상사의 코칭리더십은 부하 직원의 혁신행동, 협력행동에 유의미한 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였고 둘째, 상사의 코칭리더십은 부하 직원의 인지적 유연성, 동료의 성장가능성에 대한 믿음에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 검증하였고, 셋째, 인지적 유연성은 상사의 코칭리더십과 혁신행동 사이를 매개하는 것을 확인하였고, 넷째, 동료의 성장 가능성에 대한 믿음이 협력행동에 유의미한 정(+)의 효과를 나타내는 것은 확인하지 못하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 기반으로 본 연구의 의의와 시사점, 제한점 그리고 후속 연구를 위한 제언 등을 논의하였다.

  • In this era of cut-throat competition, innovation is a source of competitive advantage, and securing core competency through innovation plays a pivotal role in ensuring the survival and growth of an organization. In an organization, R&D team is a core division driving innovation, and creative tension and conflict among researchers fuels innovative performance. Despite heated debate over the positive and negative effects of conflict, insufficiently-identified process factors have left sophisticated mechanisms between conflicts and effects unaddressed. This study assumes that team learning behaviors can bean important process factor given that conflict propels learning, and that learning is a decisive factor in creating competitive advantage. This study conducted an empirical analysis of the relationship between relationship/task conflict and team innovative performance, and the mediating role of team learning behaviors using data collected from a questionnaire sent out to the heads of 262 R&D teams and second highest-ranking officials thereof. The analysis conducted based on structural equation model indicates that relationship conflict has negatively affected team learning behaviors, whereas task conflict has positively influenced team learning behaviors(full mediation effect), team learning behaviors has positively influenced team innovative performance. Based on these results, the study has suggested implications of intra-team conflict and team learning behaviors for team innovative performance.

혁신적인 소매업태의 출현과 발전과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Emergence of Innovative Retailing and Its Development Process)

  • 우리나라 대부분의 소매업태가 성장 또는 성숙단계에 머물고 있는 현재, 어떤 혁신적인 소매업태가 새로 출현하고 발전해 갈 것인가? 그리고 그 혁신적인 소매업태가 출현하고 발전해 갈 성장동력은 무엇인가? 본 연구는 이러한 문제인식에 근거하여 소매업태의 차별화경쟁과 소비자선택과의 상호행동을 연동하여 논의할 수 있는 소비자선택모델을 구축하여 혁신적인 소매업태의 출현과 발전과정을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구에서의 분석결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 소매시장에서 새로운 진공지대가 발생하면 그곳에 저가격·저서비스 또는 고가격·고서비스의 혁신적인 소매업태가 출현한다. 둘째, 진공지대에서 신규업태의 수가 많아지면 신규업태간의 수평적 경쟁이 야기되고, 이를 통해 각 신규업태는 격올림을 전개한다. 셋째, 신규업태가 격올림을 전개하면 신규업태와 기존업태간의 이업태간 경쟁이 야기되고, 이 경쟁에서 기존업태와 신규업태간의 동화과정이 전개된다. 넷째, 각 소매업태는 기존의 유통기술 프론티어를 돌파하기 위해 유통혁신을 추진하게 되고, 다른 소매업태는 그 혁신자를 추종한다. 위에서 언급한 분석결과를 근거로 하여 본 연구에서는 세가지 시사점을 제언할 수 있다. 첫째, 본 연구는 소매업태가 차별화전략을 추진할 때 사용되는 점포 속성에 대한 소비자의 의사결정과정구도에 대응하면서 최종적으로는 시장점유율의 변화와도 연동하여 논의할 수 있는 소비자선택모델을 구축하였다는 점이다. 둘째, 본 연구는 이러한 소비자선택모델을 토대로 혁신적인 소매업태의 출현과 발전과정에 대한 분석을 보다 정교한 논리 구조에 입각해서 설명하였다는 점이다. 셋째, 본 연구에서의 논의한 소매업태의 발전과정은 시장에서 경쟁우위를 획득하기 위해서 소매업태가 소매믹스를 어떻게 전개할 것인지에 대한 소매업자의 경영관리 측면에서의 해법을 제시하였다는 점이다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to share the right conception of win-win partnership innovative activity. This study suggests the desirable methodology to Win-win Partnership. Also, through the in-depth analyzing of the existing problems, we intend to exclude such a formal and erroneous direction of the research. Methods: This study systematically analyzes the best cases of the win-win partnership focusing on the proceedings of the companies participating in the field of win-win Partnership at the national quality-circle contest. Results: This study reveals the underlying problems of win-win partnership innovative activity and draws the conclusion in the way of improvement about the win-win partnership innovative activity. This study also suggests the efficient method of the function and improvement of a system for activating win-win partnership innovative activity. Conclusion: Promoting the effective way of boosting win-win partnership innovative activity, we seek to improve the quality of the product among the companies, and let the a rising curve of the mutual growth continue among the companies by strengthening the competitiveness.

Research on Correlation between Innovative Activities & Development Strategies of New Product and Development Performance in Taiwan's High-tech Companies

  • Due to the advancement of technology and rapidly changing environment of the market, the life cycle of high-tech products is becoming shorter. The enterprise must constantly innovate and select correct development strategy of new product in order to respond to customers' demands for upgrading operational performance of industry. Development of new product is the critical activity for enterprise's survival and growth. This research focuses on the effects of Taiwan high-tech companies' introduction of innovative activity and development strategy of new product on development performance of new product for analysis and exploration. The result findings reveal that: (1) High execution degree of innovative activity has positive effect on the implementation of development strategy of new product; (2) The companies with better implementation of development strategy of new product reveal better development performance; (3) The companies with higher degree of execution of innovative activity and better execution of development strategy of new product reveal better development performance of new product.

유형별 혁신네트워크가 혁신성과에 미치는 영향: 한국의 혁신적 기업을 사례로 (Impacts of Networks on Innovative Results of Korean Corporations)

  • The globalizing economic processes based on knowledge-based economic systems have changed the environment of competition between corporations fundamentally. As a result, all corporations must carry out their own activities for innovation in order to strengthen their competitiveness continuously. However, it may be difficult for the companies to meet the demand of rapidly changing markets as well as technological changes by themselves. Therefore, most of companies intensify their interdependent collaboration with other corporations for carrying out innovative activities. This is a process of building innovation networks. Innovation networks can provide opportunities to learn latest technologies and at the same time reduce uncertainties for the future. In fact, innovation networks enable not only to provide information about technology, market etc. but also to create learning processes between innovative actors. Thus, innovation networks are the most significant factor to stimulate innovative activities as well as to generate the growth of companies. This paper argues about impacts of innovation networks on the result of innovative activities. Furthermore, this focuses on the analysis of characters of corporations as well as patterns between innovation networks and innovation results.

  • This study suggests a Causal Loop Diagram(CLD) of causality mechanism which are integrating matters of localization, networking, embeddedness & institutional thickness and collective learning. These five factors(localization, networking, embeddedness & institutional thickness, collective learning, innovative synergy) have been studied and proofed Also this study suggest a model of industry cluster based on holistic and global system thinking rather than local and linear thinking.

  • Recently, the FPD industry has faced the limit in market growth due to lack of new growth engine as a replacement of television. With sluggish market demand deepened by global economic crisis and persistent concern over panel oversupply, growth of the panel market has sharply slowed down, and profitability has been eroded. This also has tremendous effect on related industries including component, material and machine industries, spreading a sense of crisis across the whole FPD industry. Under this circumstance, for the FPD industry to take off once again, all involved in the FPD industry must cooperate and come up with innovative ideas, and identify the driving force to realize turbo-charged growth.
