The Industrial Innovation Movement, based on win-win cooperation with SMEs, is a structure that enables suppliers who have struggled with corporate growth through productivity innovation due to poor manufacturing environment and lack of innovation. To this end, consultants and technical experts will support production innovation activities to improve production methods and improve productivity through process and management consulting. The purpose of this study was to explore the driving factors of the industrial innovation movement to improve the corporate ecosystem by improving the productivity of SMEs using modified IPA. The research results are as follows. First, in order to revitalize the Industrial Innovation Movement, the CEO-related elements of the participating companies should be maintained and strengthened. The motivation, education support, innovation organizational culture, the establishment of an innovation promotion system requires centralization of efforts for improvement. Second, in order to revitalize the Industrial Innovation Movement, the consultant's ability to analyze problems and suggest alternatives should be continuously strengthened. Third, in terms of the Central Promotion Headquarters, it was found that the Industrial Innovation Movement would be successful if the public information, industrial inspection for benchmarking, and provision of various information to support innovation activities were urgently improved.

Using the case of the Ghent University and its Technology Park, we will illustrate how changing policies and practices at the level of the university concerning research valorization have an impact on our science park. We will also demonstrate how the evolving nature of our science park has a clear impact on the university, as the science park becomes more and more an integral part of the university knowledge eco-system. We will also highlight the involvement of Ghent University in the Korea Songdo Global University Campus Project.

이 글에서는 사회문제 해결과 과학기술혁신에 대한 국내 연구들을 리뷰한다. 사회문제 해결형 혁신은 산업혁신과 비교할 때 혁신의 목표, 추진 방식, 생태계가 다른 새로운 접근이다. 이 연구에서는 사회문제 해결과 과학기술혁신을 논의한 기존 연구를 검토하고 향후 연구의 발전 방향을 다룬다. 이 글은 사회문제 해결을 지향하는 혁신을 특정 분야에 한정된 논의가 아니라 혁신이론과 정책을 파악하는 새로운 프레임으로 바라보는 관점을 취한다. 이를 바탕으로 사회문제 해결형 혁신의 특성, 혁신 거버넌스, 혁신주체들의 역할과 생태계, 사회문제 해결형 정책과 다른 정책들간의 관계에 대한 주요 연구 이슈를 제시한다.

The digital multi-sided platform has led the growth of industries. Accelerating this growth, generativity allowed innovation based on boundary-less modularity. Online games are a rich source of research but most of the research is dedicated in examining only the online game itself. However, there is a growing need to understand online games in an ecosystem level for a new phase of evolution is starting based on generativity. With generativity, online game users now make new graphics and quest that can be added and shared to the already existing game environment. The ecosystem is moving towards finding an amicable multi-sided distribution platform for these user generated game contents. Preliminary data suggest the possibility of actual connection between generativity and users' game engagement. Interviews and surveys will be prepared to find out the details of the possible relationship and how the ecosystem will shape accordingly.

Currently, the nation's medical industry is changing due to the rapid development of technology. In addition, medical accidents occurring in the medical industry are gradually increasing amid the drastic changes. Therefore, a possible solution to medical accidents in the changing health care industry is needed. Accordingly, this study uses network-centrality analysis to examine the business ecosystem of smart surgical medical systems to find ways to increase the efficiency of surgery as well as the resolution of medical accident problems, and to suggest the direction of development of the medical system in the future from a systematic business ecosystem perspective.

Over the past 40 years, Korea's defense industry has been deepening into a low-efficiency industrial structure as the government directly controls prices, quantities, and costs. By implementing the Defense Industry Building Act in 2021, the government is creating a healthy ecosystem for the defense industry and strengthening its global competitiveness. In this study, based on KPC's Productivity Management System (PMS), a diagnostic model of defense companies implemented since 2013, the on-site diagnosis was performed from 4 to 28 days depending on the size of the company data was collected based on the results. The causal relationship was analyzed through structural equation model path analysis for the effect of innovation capability on productivity performance. As a result, it suggests that defense materials suppliers should focus on which core processes to innovate and strengthen and improve their innovation capabilities.

Innovation system is a framework concept that can be classified in many ways, namely-national, regional, sectoral and technological. Regardless of classification, all these systems have some common features and characteristics as a system. Before the innovation system concept, Mongolia developed and implemented a system to maintain nation's capacity to acquire, absorb and disseminate technologies like other countries. There were two important practices in the system development. Firstly, Mongolia modified and implemented a system "ShBOS" (meant "Invention and Innovative Idea System") that met its unique features to create innovative culture in the nation. Secondly, newly emerged ICT sector was quickly scaled up to be able to export technological products. The main objective of this article is to study modern experience of developing the national innovation system in Mongolia, assess current state of the system, innovation awareness and readiness, and carry out recommendations on its improvement with particular focus on the capacity of ICT sector as a pilot sector. The paper suggests that the above mentioned two achievements can be applied for developing the national innovation system through technological innovation system approach.

기술과 비즈니스 모델이 상호 얽히고 있는 융복합 산업 환경에서 기술 혁신 또는 경영 혁신이 기업 및 조직의 중대한 관심사가 된지 이미 오래되었고, 많은 조직이 혁신을 위한 투자를 하여 왔음에도 불구하고 차별화된 경쟁력 및 경쟁우위를 가지지 못하고 새로운 흐름에 의해 도태되는 사례가 많이 등장하고 있다. 본 연구는 기업이 차별화된 경쟁력 및 경쟁우위를 확보하고 지속적으로 유지하기 위한 전략을 도출하는 것을 기본 목적으로 하였다. 개방형 혁신의 각종 활동을 기본적인 독립변수로 제시하였고 개방형 혁신 제휴로 일컬어지는 국제적 기술 제휴도 독립변수로 추가하였다. 개방형 혁신 활동과 생태계와의 관계에서 등장하는 플랫폼 리더십은 조절변수로 제시하였고 파괴적 혁신 이론으로부터 6가지 침해 유형을 조절변수로 제시하였다. 기업의 차별화된 경쟁력 및 경쟁우위를 역동적 환경에서 설명하기 위하여 역동적 경쟁우위라는 개념을 제시하여 독립변수로 제시하였다. 11개의 개방형 혁신 사례를 분석하여 변수군을 정리하고 변수들에 대한 적절성을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 역동적인 융복합 환경에서 기업의 경쟁우위를 유지하기 위한 전략과 방법론을 도출하는 새로운 시도로서 기여할 것이다.

We explore technology ecosystem of smart surgical medical system by analyzing patent data applied for in Korea and Japan. First, a review of trends of patent application by country/technological domain show that there exist a minority of technology domains focused on R&D, which represent their trends have been increasingly active. Also, while a number of Japanese firms mainly consist of the patent market of Japan, in case of the Korean market, a few universities, SMEs, and foreign firms are found to be the main applicants. As a result of the network analysis with the links as the relations of co-patenting, the relationships, which are active of convergence and knowledge spillover among the heterogeneous technology domains within each market, as well as the technology domains, which are the most active in international cooperation among each homogeneous domain, could get derived and visualized in the ecosystem. In addition, the technology domains in each patent market with leading locations, roles, and influence in the network can also be identified through the centrality analysis. In this study, the analysis for technology competitiveness are carried out focusing on patent activity and patent impact. The results denote that across all domains, the Japanese market may possess higher patent activity and patent impact compared to the Korean market. In consequence, we derive the position map for comparison by country and technology domain from a perspective considering comprehensively the multi-dimensional attributes based on the results of both network analysis and technology competitiveness.

이 연구의 목적은 단편적으로 이루어졌던 사회혁신 연구를 메타적으로 접근해 사회혁신의 이론지형을 통합적으로 설명하는 것에 있다. 이를 위해 사회혁신의 개념과 영역에 초점을 맞춘 유형화를 시도하여 이를 사회혁신체제의 관점에서 재해석해 사회혁신 및 관련정책에 있어 새로운 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. 분석에 따르면, 사회혁신은 삶의 질 향상, 지속가능한 사회로의 변환을 위한 공통의 목표를 중심으로 공공혁신, 시장혁신, 사회적 경제혁신으로 세분화되어 전체 구조를 형성하고 있다. 이러한 분석을 기반으로 하여 사회혁신 생태계의 활성화를 위해 사회혁신 영역별 행위자 특성과 역할에 따라 사회혁신 거버넌스를 운영할 필요가 있으며 네트워크 촉진자로서 정부역할의 변화가 요구된다는 시사점을 도출하였다.
