  • In recent years, the emergence of a number of AI image generation software represented by [Midjourney] has brought great impetus to the development of the field of AI-assisted art creation. Compared with the traditional hand-painted digital painting with the aid of electronic equipment, broke the traditional sense of animation character creation logic. This paper analyzes the application of AI technology in the field of animation character design through the practice of two-dimensional animation character . This is having a significant impact on the productivity and innovation of animation design and character modeling. The key results of the analysis indicate that AI technology, particularly through the utilization of "Midjourney,"enables the automation of certain design tasks, provides innovative approaches, and generates visually appealing and realistic characters. In conclusion, the integration of AI technology, specifically the application of "Midjourney," brings a new dimension to animation character design. The utilization of AI image generation software facilitates streamlined workflows, sparks creativity, and improves the overall quality of animated characters. As the animation industry continues to evolve, AI-assisted tools like "Midjourney" hold great potential for further advancement and innovation.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how two factors among various affecting factors of technological innovation, i.e. sectoral system of innovation and R&D support service, were actually applied in the case of NUC Electronics. This company has achieved high level of innovation performance through change of injection port and improvement of extracting rate. This was possible because each component of sectoral system of innovation system was matched with the innovation activity. The improvement of the performance in NUC Electronics was attributable to its own innovation efforts and R&D support service of government research institute. In the process of technological innovation, the company could receive high-level services in areas such as product design and virtual experiments that companies can not solve themselves. It can be said that the role of government and public institutions to support the shortage of SMEs was important. In terms of each component of sectoral system of innovation, we found that there were many opportunities of new technology; sustainability was low; imitation was easy; appropriability was low but it has dualily; accumulation of technology was relatively high, availability of external knowledge was high. At the same time, both of the company and the network played an important role, and market conditions were very favorable. In terms of R&D support services, it is a direct effect that a great deal of time and cost savings have been achieved through virtual experiments on the material and shape of the screw. As an indirect effect, the core competence of the company has been greatly strengthened by utilizing the momentum of technology development through external support, hence the company could establish the structure of virtuous circle of innovation.

  • This paper is a product design convergence study to improve the aesthetic quality of CIGS solar cells for utilizing urban living structures, identifying problems of existing solar cell panels and drawing expert aesthetic elements for improving CIGS solar cells through survey and [Group discussion of experts] based on aesthetic elements of product design. Out of the aesthetic elements derived, the top three models of the product design process were 'environmental harmonization', 'pattern balance', and 'period universality' to derive the design and assembly design of the CIGS solar cell module for improving aesthetic quality, and applied to apartments, veranda, windows, and streetcar through product simulation. This study is suitable for applying aesthetic and CIGS solar cell function later to actual urban living structure, and future research direction needs to be studied on various patterns and structural design development of design.

  • Tower structures have been widely used in communication and transmission engineering. The failure of joints is the leading cause of structure failure, which make it play a crucial role in tower structure engineering. In this study, the aluminum alloy three tube tower structure is taken as the prototype, and the middle joint of the tower was selected as the research object. Three different stainless steel-aluminum alloy composite joints (SACJs), denoted by TA, TB and TC, were designed. Finite element (FE) modeling analysis was used to compare and determine the TC joint as the best solution. Detail requirements of fasteners in the TC stainless steel-aluminum alloy composite joint (TC-SACJ) were designed and verified. In order to systematically and comprehensively study the mechanical properties of TC-SACJ under multi-directional loading conditions, the full-scale experiments and FE simulation models were all performed for mechanical response analysis. The failure modes, load-carrying capacities, and axial load versus displacement/stain testing curves of all full-scale specimens under tension/compression loading conditions were obtained. The results show that the maximum vertical displacement of aluminum alloy tube is 26.9mm, and the maximum lateral displacement of TC-SACJs is 1.0 mm. In general, the TC-SACJs are in an elastic state under the design load, which meet the design requirements and has a good safety reserve. This work can provide references for the design and engineering application of aluminum alloy tower structures.

  • The purpose of this study is to design an effective innovation model for communication-centered public services, based on the case of Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd (KOMIPO). This study analyzed customer and employee participation activities at KOMIPO, focusing on communication activities to derive the best practices. The study comprised of the following stages: (1) Preparation stage to assess the current situation and promote change management; (2) Problem-solving stage for improving public services; (3) Problem-solving stage for improving work processes; (4) Problem-solving stage for strengthening collaboration, and (5) Design stage for an innovation model. Based on the results of this study, an innovation model was developed for public services by applying the double-diamond design process. The proposed model presents a process structure, which is derived through an iterative process of primary divergence (discovery) and convergence (definition), and secondary divergence (development) and convergence (delivery). This study also proposed the possibility of applying the Idea-Power-Plant activities of KOMIPO's best practices to the proposed model. While this study proposed an innovation model for communication-centered public services through the analysis of a specific public company, the results of the study provide broad insights for effective operations management through efficient communication based on the participation of customers and employees in public institutions.
