Performance Analysis Based on Bonded Surface Designs for Stitchless Welded Products

  • This study selected three model designs used for air injection type welding clothes designed for insulation purposes and analyzed the performance of each design. The bending characteristics were analyzed in order to identify the flexibility of the welded areas; subsequently, the seam breaking strength and water pressure resistance were analyzed to identify the bonding strength. In addition, two types of waterproof fabric, polyurethane (PU) coated 2 layer and PU laminated 2 layer fabrics, were used for a performance analysis, according to fabric processing specifications. The circle type showed the highest flexibility in the terms of bending characteristics that influence wearability and were followed by the wave and the straight type. In terms of breaking strength, the straight type showed the highest breaking strength, followed by the wave and the circle type. The water pressure resistance analysis found that the wave type was superior to the straight type in terms of water pressure resistance. The wave type is deemed to be a design type suitable for maximizing performance, provided that the issue of stabilization in the welding production process is addressed. Looking at the bending characteristics of waterproof fabric for each specification, the laminating waterproof cloth outperformed the coated waterproof cloth in terms of flexibility. However, in terms of seam breaking strength, the coated waterproof cloth outperformed the laminated cloth. In contrast, the water pressure resistance of the laminated waterproof fabric was found to be higher than the coated waterproof fabric, leading to the conclusion that the bonding strength of the laminated waterproof fabric is higher than that of the coated waterproof fabric based on the assumption of injecting air.

  • 본 연구에서는 연약지반이나 부분침하의 복원에 사용되는 팽창약액의 지반내 강도증진 및 응력전달효과를 알아보기 위하여 팽창성능을 구분한 팽창약액을 제작하여 모래지반내의 밀도 및 토압을 측정하여 분석하였다. 상대적 고팽창군과 저팽창군으로 구분하여 별도의 불투수 진공시트에 주입하여 팽창보강제를 제작하고 이를 균질하게 조성된 모형지반하부에서 고결실험을 시행하였다. 이 결과 팽창보강제 상부 약 15cm까지 보강효과가 나타났고, 토압의 분석결과 $1.150{\sim}11.298t/m^2$의 집중하중과 유사한 다짐경향이 나타났다.

수적(垂滴)법을 이용한 이산화탄소 지중저장 조건에서의 염수-이산화탄소 간 계면장력 측정 (Measuring Interfacial Tension between Brine and Carbon Dioxide in Geological CO2 Sequestration Conditions using Pendant Bubble Methods)

  • This experimental study was aimed to estimate interfacial tension of brine-$CO_2$ by using a pendant bubble method and image analysis. Measurements were performed for wide ranges of temperatures, pressures, and salinities covering reservoir conditions in Pohang basin, a possible candidate for $CO_2$ storage operation in Korea. The profiles of $CO_2$ bubbles in brine obtained from image analysis with the densities of brine and $CO_2$ from previous studies were applied to Laplace-Young equation for calculating interfacial twnsion in brine-$CO_2$ system. The experimental results reveals that the interfacial tension is significantly affected by reservoir conditions such as pressure, temperature and water salinity. For conditions of constant temperature and water salinity, the interfacial tension decreases as pressure increases for low pressures (P < $P_c$), and approaches to a constant value for high pressures. For conditions of constant pressure and water salinity, the interfacial tension increases as temperature increases for T < $T_c$, with an asymptotic trend towards a constant value for high temperatures. For conditions of constant pressure and temperature, the interfacial tension increases with increasing water salinity. The trends in changes of interfacial tension can be explained by the effects of the reservoir conditions on the density difference of brine and $CO_2$, and the solubility of $CO_2$ in brine. The information on interfacial tensions obtained from this research can be applied in predicting the migration and distribution of injecting and residual fluids in brine-$CO_2$-rock systems in deep geological environments during geological $CO_2$ sequestrations.

열음극 전리진공계 특성연구 (The study of hot cathode ionization vacuum gauges)

  • 전달표준기(transfer gauge)로 사용되는 열음극 전리진공계의 교정을 위하여 초고진 공표준기의 압력비(pressure ratio), 오리피스 콘덕턴스, 그리고 porous plug 콘덕턴스 측정 에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이 표준기를 이용하여 제조회사가 다른 두 개의 전리진공계를 $7{times}10^{-7}$~$4{times}10^{-3}$ Pa압력구간에서 아르곤 가스를 사용하여 교정하였다. 그 결과 extractor 전 리진공계의 고진공과 초고진공 사이에서 압력에 따른 비직선성의 차이는 4%로 나타났고, stabil 전리진공계는 3%정도로 나타났다. Extractor 전리진공계의 경우 기체의 감도를 적절 히 조절해서 사용하면 진공계 자체 불확도인 10%이내의 오차범위에서 사용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 stabil 전리진공계는 별도의 감도 조절하지 않고도 최대 4% 오차범위에서 사용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

회전 운동이 이젝터 성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study on the Swirling Motion Effect of Ejector Performance)

  • 본 논문은 오존 방식 선박평형수 처리의 핵심 장치인 이젝터에 대하여 회전 운동하는 구동 유체가 기체-액체 이젝터의 효율에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 이젝터는 오존을 구동 노즐을 통해 분사되는 고압 액체(선박평형수)와 주변부의 저압 기체 간의 운동량 교환으로 발생되는 부압에 의해 기체(오존)를 흡입시키는 장치이다. 기존의 이젝터는 단순한 형태로 구동 유체가 분사되지만, 본 논문에서는 구동 노즐부에 회전 유도장치를 적용하여 구동 유체가 회전 운동하며 분사될 수 있도록 한다. 구동 유체의 회전 운동 유무에 따른 유동 특성을 파악하기 위하여 전산유체해석을 이용하였으며, 구동 유체의 압력과 유량, 흡입부에 발생하는 흡입 유체의 부압과 흡입 유량, 그리고 토출 압력이 예측되었다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 회전유도 장치가 적용된 이젝터의 효율은 22.25%로 산출되었으며, 구동 유체의 회전 운동이 없는 이젝터에 비해 약 1.7%의 효율이 향상되었다. 마지막으로 전산유체해석의 타당성을 검증하고자 실험 장치를 구축하여 회전 유도 장치가 적용된 이젝터에 대한 실험을 수행하였으며, 전산유체해석 결과와 비슷한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

하향식 다단 압력 그라우팅 방법의 주입특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Grouting Characteristics of Top-down Multi-step Pressure Grouting Method)

  • 국내 사면 및 터널에서 주로 적용되고 있는 다단 압력을 이용한 그라우팅 방법들은 천공 후 지중에서 지표 방향으로 스텝주입을 하는 상향식 다단압력 그라우팅 방법이며 다수의 연구결과와 축척된 시공실적을 토대로 현재 여러 현장에서 적용되고 있다. 국내에서 하향식 다단압력 그라우팅 방법의 연구결과는 미미한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 토조시험과 현장시험을 통해 기존 상향식 다단압력 그라우팅 방법과 지표부에서부터 주입을 실시하는 하향식 다단압력 그라우팅 방법의 주입효과를 비교 분석하였다. 토조 시험 결과 하향식 다단압력 그라우팅 방법의 경우 상향식 다단압력 그라우팅 방법에 비해 구근체의 부피는 약 24% 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 현장시험 결과 하향식 다단 압력 그라우팅 방법이 상향식 다단 압력 그라우팅 방법에 비해 주입 범위가 넓고 면적당 주입 밀집도가 높은 것으로 확인되었다.

초임계상 이산화탄소 주입으로 인한 공극수 대체에 관한 공극 규모의 마이크로모델 연구 (Pore-scale Investigation on Displacement of Porewater by Supercritical CO2 Injection Using a Micromodel)

  • A micromodel was applied to estimate the effects of geological conditions and injection methods on displacement of resident porewater by injecting scCO2 in the pore scale. Binary images from image analysis were used to distinguish scCO2-filled-pores from other pore structure. CO2 flooding followed by porewater displacement, fingering migration, preferential flow and bypassing were observed during scCO2 injection experiments. Effects of pressure, temperature, salinity, flow rate, and injection methods on storage efficiency in micromodels were represented and examined in terms of areal displacement efficiency. The measurements revealed that the areal displacement efficiency at equilibrium decreases as the salinity increases, whereas it increases as the pressure and temperature increases. It may result from that the overburden pressure and porewater salinity can affect the CO2 solubility in water and the hydrophilicity of silica surfaces, while the neighboring temperature has a significant effect on viscosity of scCO2. Increased flow rate could create more preferential flow paths and decrease the areal displacement efficiency. Compared to the continuous injection of scCO2, the pulse-type injection reduced the probability for occurrence of fingering, subsequently preferential flow paths, and recorded higher areal displacement efficiency. More detailed explanation may need further studies based on closer experimental observations.

전척수(全脊髓) 및 경막외차단(硬膜外遮斷)으로 편타성(鞭打性) 손상(損傷)의 통증치험(痛症治驗) (4례(例) 보고(報告)) (Total Spinal Block and Cortical Epidural Block for Whiplash Syndrome and Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (Report of Four Cases))

  • For the relief of pain in 3 cases of whiplash syndromes (case I, II and IV) and in one of reflex sympathetic dystrophy (case III), we have carried out six intentional. total spinal blocks (TSB) which attempted two times in case I, three in case II and one in carte III whoso various symptoms were chronically unresponsive to the usual conservative treatments, and a time of cervical epidural and right suprascapular nerve block in case W whose acute symptom lasted 4 drys following the cervical injury (see fables from 1 to 9). During the 753, we have observed clinically the sequential charges of respiration, lid and pupil reflexes, body motion and consciousness. And checked the blood pressure, pulse rate and arterial Pco2. The effectiveness of those blocks has been assessed by using the Visual Analog Scale which is designed to measure the patient$\acute{s}$ subjective intensity of pain and also we have found out the sequelae following those blocks. The methods of the blocks were as the following: 1. Under the N.P.O. for 8~10 hours, the preparations of immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation and premedication with atropine 0.5mg at thirty minutes before the TSB, it was performed by injecting the mixture of 2% mepivacaine 10 or 15ml and normal saline 10 or 5ml through No. 23 G. spinal needle into the subarachnoid space of $C_7-T_1$ interspinous region with fully flexed neck on the lateral posture. Immediately after the injection of the local anesthetic in the lateral position, the patient$\acute{s}$ were hasten to change Trendelenburg$\acute{s}$ position in order to act the drugs cephalad and to make easy controlled respiration with oxygen. 2. The cervical epidural block was done by injecting the mixture of 0.5% bupivacaine 4ml, normal saline 4ml and triamcinolone 15mg through No. 18 G. Tuohy needle into the epidural space on the same region and posture as the above without premedication.7he suprascapular nerve block was done by injecting of 0.5% bupivacaine 3ml only into the right suprascapular fossa on the sitting posture. The results were as the following: 1. The cessation of respiration was seen within 5 minutes following the subarachnoidal injection of the above 20ml mixture in 2 to 3 minutes and then soon the consciousness began to disappear. The loss of Lid and pupil reflexes noted between 5 to 10 minutes and the size of the dilated pupils was equal between 5 to 20 minutes, but the pupil of the dependent side on tile lateral position was dilated 1 to 3 minutes earlier than that of the independent. The patients had r=ever responded to any stimulations during the TSB except their heart funtion. 2. The recovery of the TSB was as the following, firstly the ankle and lower limb of the independent side began to move slightly with in 34 to 75 minutes after the injection and then that of the dependent Secondly the neck and upper limb moved 6 to 15 minutes later than the lower limb. Thirdly the self respiration began to appear between 40 to 80 minutes from the block. The lid and pupil reacted to touch and light respectively between 40 to 80 minutes but the pupil of the independent side responded earlier than that of the depends. Lastly the consciousness recovered completely between 80 to 125 minutes from the block. 3. In the cardiopulmonary function during the TSB, the blood pressure were stable except the 210/130 tory at the and block of case I. There were bradycardias between 65 to 85 minutes in case I and II but no arrythmia on the EKG. The level of the arterial Pco2 was maintained to 43~45 torr during the TSB. 4. The effectiveness of the above blocks was no pain(0%) in case IV, and light (10~20%) in case I and II but no improvement in case III. 5. The right arm weakness has been complicated as to be Injected accidently the "COLD" local anesthetic at the End block of case I.

풍화토 및 충적토 지반에 적용된 M.S.G공법의 차수효과 (Effect of water cut-off by M.S.G. method for weathered soil and alluvial soil)

  • Generally, ordinary portland cement(OPC) is widely used for grouting to reduce permeability of ground under the foundations of structures. But, it is hard to be injected into the microscopic voids, fissures and crevices in soil or rock formation for the OPC material. Therefore new method what is called MSG(Micro Silica Grouting) has been developed recently to improve the weak point of the OPC material. In this case study, in order to verify performance of the MSG's water cut-off, trial injections were performed in rear of CIP(Cast in Place Pile) on the site A(weathered soil) and B(alluvial soil) that are constructed for the subway No. 9 nowadays. To take the proper grouting method of the MSG in the trial injecting, the injections are carried out for grouting types(constant pressure or fixed Quantity) and grouting methods(1.5shot or 2.0shot) and to confirm the effects of water cut-off and the injection range of the MSG, the tests of permeability and indicator(phenolphthalein) response were performed before and after the injection. Through the tests results, we could affirm the effects of water cut-off of the MSG and the injection range for the weathered and alluvial soil layers near the Han River. Finally we could make sure the application of the MSG method in actual construction under the layers.

  • 자동 부침식 가두리 시설을 개발하기 위해 가두리 시설을 구형 부자로 단순화하여 이것의 자동 침하 및 상승 관련 제어 알고리즘 및 프로그램을 개발하였고 실내 수조 실험을 통해 그 유용성을 확인하였다. 또한 기존 연구 결과의 수치와도 비교 분석함으로써 기존 연구의 수치 모델 결과의 유용성을 재확인하게 되었다. 그리고 실물 실험에 대한 선행 연구로써 많은 변수들과 부력에 대한 비선형적인 메커니즘을 제어를 통해 극복하였으며, 이는 실물 실험에 있어 중요한 요소로 작용될 것이다.
