인도 소프트웨어 산업의 혁신클러스터 형성 과정: 개발인가, 진화인가? (Innovation Cluster of Indian Software Industry: Is It Evolved or Developed\ulcorner)

  • Summary: This paper analyzes Indian software industry in the perspective of innovation cluster. The research shows that the software industry has been following an upstream clustering process, where the major value activity is expanding from low value product/services to high value product/services. The growth of software industry could be successful because there was appropriate initial condition of Bangalore, such as the availability of high qualified human resources, excellent research institutes, small high-tech companies. The role of government was helpful for the late growth of software industry but not a critical factor for the initial development of the S/W cluster. It is suggested that government should consider the initial condition of a concerned location critically to implement a cluster-type innovation policy.

외식프랜차이즈 가맹본부 지원서비스와 성과간에 관계공정성의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Relationship Fairness Between Franchisor's Support Service and Performance in Food Service Franchise)

  • Purpose - This paper aims to investigate the mediating effects of relationship fairness factors between franchisor's support services and performance(re-contract intention) in food service franchise. More specifically, fairness was measured into distributive, procedure, interaction, and information, franchisor's support service was divided into pre-start support services (initial support services) and post-start support services (continued support services), and performance (re-contract intent) was measured using 3 items such as re-contract, contract extension, and recommendation. Research design, data, and methodology - The population for the survey is the head of franchises in the metropolitan area (Seoul/Gyeonggi), which operates a restaurant franchise, and samples included a wide range of overseas/domestic brands and regions. The survey was conducted from August 1 to September 30, 2018 through the survey agency. The survey was conducted together with a telephone interview and a direct visit by the investigator. A total of 205 questionnaires were collected and retrieved, 4 questionaires containing missing information were excluded and 201 responses were used for analysis. Results - The results shows that franchisor's initial support services have significant positive effects on procedural, interpersonal, and informational relationship fairness, and continuous support services have significant positive effects on distributive, procedural, interpersonal, and informational relationship fairness. This study also shows that informational and procedural fairness have significant positive effects on performance(re-contract intention). Finally, continuous services a significant positive effect on performance(re-contract intention). Conclusions - The results show that franchisor make a manual, and should improve fairness through regular investigation whether support services was executed as promised in the manual after franchisee operation. In addition, information fairness and procedural fairness have been shown to increase performance(re-contract intention). These results mean that the franchisor's headquarters should provide product and service support for the merchant in accordance with the manual and management policy to reduce asymmetry in information and improve procedural fairness to enhance performance(re-contract intention).

미래 네트워크 제공을 위한 기계 학습 기반 스마트 서비스 추상화 계층 설계 (Design of Machine Learning based Smart Service Abstraction Layer for Future Network Provisioning)

  • Recently, SDN and NFV technology have been developed actively and provide enormous flexibility of network provisioning. The future network services would generally involve many different types of services such as hologram games, social network live streaming videos and cloud-computing services, which have dynamic service requirements. To provision networks for future services dynamically and efficiently, SDN/NFV orchestrators must clearly understand the service requirements. Currently, network provisioning relies heavily on QoS parameters such as bandwidth, delay, jitter and throughput, and those parameters are necessary to describe the network requirements of a service. However it is often difficult for users to understand and use them proficiently. Therefore, in order to maintain interoperability and homogeneity, it is required to have a service abstraction layer between users and orchestrators. The service abstraction layer analyzes ambiguous user's requirements for the desired services, and this layer generates corresponding refined services requirements. In this paper, we present our initial effort to design a Smart Service Abstraction Layer (SmSAL) for future network architecture, which takes advantage of machine learning method to analyze ambiguous and abstracted user-friendly input parameters and generate corresponding network parameters of the desired service for better network provisioning. As an initial proof-of-concept implementation for providing viability of the proposed idea, we implemented SmSAL with a decision tree model created by learning process with previous service requests in order to generate network parameters related to various audio and video services, and showed that the parameters are generated successfully.

서비스무역 연구방법의 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Research Methodology of International Trades in Services)

  • This study shows a comprehensive survey of literatures in international trades in services. It is true that most research works in international trade have been focusing on commodity trades but relatively not many works have been done on international services trade study. This paper discusses a research framework of international services in trades research and suggests some recommendations for future research. The study shows that most of the research works so far have been at initial stage of maturity and as a result not many strategic types of studies are not reported in this field. The main reason is that the research methodology for international trades in services is weak though the opportunity being large. Therefore, future research has to be made to enhance the research methodology study in the international trades in services.

  • In this paper, a mathematical model was introduced to analyze pricing and quality strategies for the web sites of electronic intermediaries. Especially, I focused on the intermediary sites that initiate their businesses by providing free services such as free e-mail, search, and directory services. intermediaries may gather third party providers looking for new markets for their services, based on customers who want to use the free services. And intermediaries provide charged intermediary services to both of customers and providers. By analyzing the mathematical model, I can find optimal quality and prices to maximize the profit of intermediaries. And I can found also that intermediaries should make efforts to improve their productivity of developing their services to make profits.

잎브로콜리에서 배추좀나방 요방제 수준 설정 (Economic Threshold for the Diamondback Moth (Plutella xylostella L., Lepidoptera: Plutellidae) on Leaf Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis italiana))

  • 잎브로콜리에 심각한 피해를 주는 배추좀나방의 적절한 방제시기 설정을 위한 기초자료로 이용하기 위하여 유충접종밀도와 잎브로콜리 피해량의 관계를 분석하여 경제적피해허용수준과 요방제 수준을 설정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 배추좀나방 3~4령 유충을 주당 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0마리를 5월 24일에 접종하고, 6월 1일, 6월 9일, 6월 18일에 발생밀도와 엽수량을 조사한 결과, 초기 접종밀도가 증가할수록 배추좀나방의 발생 밀도는 증가하였고 시간이 경과할수록 엽수량은 감소하였다. 이를 토대로 배추좀나방의 접종밀도와 수량감소율을 회귀식을 이용하여 분석한 결과 y=1636-394x ($R^2=0.79^{***}$)로 추정되었다. 잎브로콜리에서 5% 피해율을 경제적 피해한도로 볼 때 배추좀나방의 경제적피해허용수준은 10주당 2~3마리이고, 요방제 수준은 10주당 1-2마리 수준으로 추정된다.

응급구조과 학생의 첫 임상 실습 경험에 대한 연구 (An Initial Clinical Experience of EMT Students)

  • This study was conducted to identify an initial clinical experience of EMT students, so to better understand their' experience in clinical training. The subjects were 30 EMT students of C department of Emergency Medical technology in C city, who were demonstrating at the emergency room in C, T, S, W city. This study was approached by phenomenological method, collected data were analyzed by Colaizzi's method. the results were as a follows. From the protocol, significant statements were organized into 34 formulated meanings. from the formulated meanings, 21themes were identified, organized into 8 theme clusters, and then categories. EMT students got experienced 'tension resulting from new situation', 'fear in contacting with patients', 'lack of knowledge and skill', 'confidence feeling from being adapted', 'facing up to Paramedic role', 'experience of death' and 'stress'. The results of this study are to use as basic data for students attending clinical experience for the first time.

Automating Configuration System and Protocol for Next-Generation Home Appliances

  • Home appliance manufacturers have recently been trying to provide smart products capable of various Internet services. For example, one health care manufacturer provides a Wi-Fi-capable scale. Once users register their information with the manufacturer's server, their weight and body fat records are automatically uploaded to the server whenever they measure their weight. The users can then watch and check their weight log easily using a smart device, such as a smartphone or tablet. One of the biggest problems, however, is that the initial configuration of the appliances and the user registration process may be quite complicated to typical users who are unfamiliar with such IT devices. This paper proposes an autoconfiguration system structure and protocol for Internet-capable home appliances, which supports the initial configuration and remote maintenance service of the device with only little user effort. Manufacturers can develop their own information appliances and provide differentiated services using the proposed system and protocol.

우리나라 응급의료기금 운영실태 및 문제점 (A Study on Improvement of EMS Fund Using in Korea)

  • In Korea, EMS Fund Operation seems to move the opposite direction to right way. The most initial EMS fund was consumed loan for some emergency patients without any particular results. Since 2002, the use of EMS fund also has shown a tendency to shift one side. By the results, it was 44.3% to support emergency medical centers, so called hospital EMS system and 28.4% to purchase ambulances and helicopters, and 1.6% to operate Central Medical Center, prehospital base in the EMS fund consumed in 2004. It was never supported for the environmental improvement and development of universities, colleges, and private EMS units having the primary responsibilities. The initial EMS fund using should be used for prehospital base, e.g., prehospital staffs, communications, and facilities and balanced development between public and private EMS units than any other fund using.

응급의료서비스를 통해 내원한 뇌출혈 환자의 주취 유무에 따른 KTAS Level과 검사시간의 차이 (Emergency department triage and medical process according to alcohol intoxication in brain hemorrhage)

  • Purpose: Alcohol intoxication is frequently observed in patients with brain hemorrhage. The purpose of this study was to determine whether intoxication affects the Korean Triage and Acuity Stage (KTAS) level and the emergency medical process in emergency departments. Methods: This study was a retrospective observational study enrolled 253 brain hemorrhage patients (47 of those intoxicated) who visited the emergency medical center on public EMS ambulance from January. 1, 2017 to April, 30, 2019. Data were collected through the electronic medical record (EMR). KTAS level and time to computerized tomography (CT) were compared to evaluate whether inebriation affects care and examination processes. All data were analyzed using SPSS program. Results: Of the 47 patients intoxicated patients, 85.1% were male, and 74.5% accompanied by trauma. Initial KTAS level showed significant differences (77.2%; p=.000) when the level 3,4 was not drunk. The average time taken from triage to CT scans showed a significant difference of 24.81±23.72 (min) when the drunken state was not 58.38±56.54 (min)(p=.000). Conclusion: In patients with brain hemorrhage admitted to ED from public EMS, undertriage and delay after initial assessment were detected in inebriated patients. Careful initial evaluation and prompt medical response should be considered for patients transported by EMS.
