  • The digital map expresses natural topographies and artificial things with 3D position coordinates in the computer such as the road, railway, building, river, mountain, paddy and dryland. Therefore, the digital map is regarded as an important factor in the information-oriented society. However, it is difficult to maintain the most recent topographic information all the times because of restricted budget and time. For that, the efficient method corresponded with the digital map should be presented. This study aims to suggest the way to make an estimate of updating cost for 1:5,000 scale digital map by using remotely sensed data.   • Telematics is a leading IT service where wireless internet service represented by information and mobility is extended to the area of transportations to provide Telematics service. One of the killer-application about Telematics is navigation system. Recently, due to the mass storage conversion, the performance of the terminal and mobile communications technology development, navigation system is also changed. It more and more develops into 3D in a pre-existence 2D map. In the future, it is expected to include the remote sensing map or video map. There is also the characteristic of all the information expressed in frequently a change partially happening. That is, POI(Point Of Interest) which is freshly registered or is deleted is many. In a pre-existence, Map Contents Providers offer the new version map by off-line monthly or quarterly. And a user wastes time and is inconvenient because of updating the total map by the off-line. Thus, in this paper, in order to resolve this, we describe MAUS(Map Air Update Server) for updating only the partial map that was changed

  • In Korea, the initial installation of GIS requires lots of cost, time, and human efforts. If the accuracy of GIS data does not meet the certain standard for use, the system may not work as expected. So, it needs to be investigated for the accuracy of raw data. However, there is little study for the accuracy of raw data in Korea. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to review the data accuracy of raw data - geologic map, 1:5,000 and 1:25,000 scale topographic map, forest stand map, degree of green naturality(DGN) map, and detailed survey data of DGN map-, which are to be used in Environmental Information System(EIS) in Korea. After this study, some errors in data were surveyed and following conclusions were derived. (1) There is no map data, e. g, wildlife habitat map. (2) Some data are misinterpreted depending on the location in the geologic map. (3) Some data are not updated properly after change of topography in the topographic map or the elevation and location is different depending on the scale.. (4) Some data are not edited properly in the forest stand map, e. g. two attributes in one polygon. (5) DGN classification system does not reflect the characteristic of Korean vegetation community. So, it needs to be refined and restructured.

RadioCycle: Deep Dual Learning based Radio Map Estimation

  • The estimation of radio map (RM) is a fundamental and critical task for the network planning and optimization performance of mobile communication. In this paper, a RM estimation method is proposed based on a deep dual learning structure. This method can simultaneously and accurately reconstruct the urban building map (UBM) and estimate the RM of the whole cell by only part of the measured reference signal receiving power (RSRP). Our proposed method implements UBM reconstruction task and RM estimation task by constructing a dual U-Net-based structure, which is named RadioCycle. RadioCycle jointly trains two symmetric generators of the dual structure. Further, to solve the problem of interference negative transfer in generators trained jointly for two different tasks, RadioCycle introduces a dynamic weighted averaging method to dynamically balance the learning rate of these two generators in the joint training. Eventually, the experiments demonstrate that on the UBM reconstruction task, RadioCycle achieves an F1 score of 0.950, and on the RM estimation task, RadioCycle achieves a root mean square error of 0.069. Therefore, RadioCycle can estimate both the RM and the UBM in a cell with measured RSRP for only 20% of the whole cell.

  • 본 논문에서는 특정 MAP (Mobile Access Point)에 대한 채널 점유 집중화 현상을 막기 위하여 단말기의 이동성과 트래픽 특성을 기반으로 특정 MAP으로부터 채널을 접근하는 방안을 제안한다. 계층적 MAP 구조에서 단말기의 이동성과 트래픽 특성에 의하여 MAP을 선택함으로 단말기의 등록에 대한 부담을 분산시키고자 한다.

  • Recent Internet Service Environment has been moved to provide geographic information based on location as well as existent various information. In this paper, we develop an integrated software connecting GIS information to Internet. In the other hand, in GIS S/W, it is important that rapid output of Digital Map and effective trnasmission of specified Digital Map about moving area. To achieve the purpose, we propose a reduced digital format to diminish original digital maps. Also, we develop a GIS-based software engine with functions connecting location information to URL as well as map viewer and map handling. Futhermore, our developed GIS S/W is based Module in LBS application using GPS sensor.

  • DOCSIS 3.0 프로토콜은 채널-결합 기법을 기반으로 케이블망에서 망을 고도화하기 위해 제안된 표준이다. DOCSIS 프로토콜을 사용하는 망에서 망을 구성하는 CM과 CMTS간의 데이터 전송은 MAP 메시지를 통해 대역 요청과 전송 대역 할당을 받아 양방향 전송을 하기 때문에, MAP의 전송주기는 망 성능의 핵심적인 요소가 된다. 하지만 현재 표준안에서는 MAP의 구성요소와 용도에 대한 정의만 언급하고 있고, MAP 메시지의 전송주기에 대한 정의는 언급되어 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 DOCSIS 3.0 기반의 케이블망에서 MAP 전송주기 에 따른 프로토콜의 성능을 평가하기 위해 OPNET을 통해 시뮬레이터를 개발하고, MAP 전송주기에 따른 망의 성능을 분석하였다. 성능 평가 결과 MAP 전송주기는 0.05sec일 때 최적의 망성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 DOCSIS 3.0 기반 케이블 망의 구축을 위한 중요한 성능 요소로 사용될 수 있다.

  • 연구에서는 2007년 고시예정인 산지이용구분도를 정확하고 효율적으로 작성하기 위하여 GIS에 기반한 산지이용구분도 작성방법을 수립하였다. 산지이용구분도 작성절차는 임지추출 및 보완, 법정용도지역 구분, 기타 보전 및 준보전산지 구분, 지적기반 수치산지이용구분도 작성, 산지이용구분도(안) 편집 및 출력, 검수 및 보완 등 6단계로 구성하였다. 수립된 작성절차를 적용하여 경기도 화성시 지역을 대상으로 축척 1:25,000 14도엽 및 1:5,000 173도엽의 산지이용구분도와 산지이용구분대장을 작성하였다.

디지털지형정보 기반의 실시간 자율주행 격자지도 생성 연구 (Realtime Generation of Grid Map for Autonomous Navigation Using the Digitalized Geographic Information)

  • In this paper, a method of generating path planning map is developed using digitalized geographic information such as FDB(Feature DataBase). FDB is widely used by the Army and needs to be applied to all weapon systems of newly developed. For the autonomous navigation of a robot, it is necessary to generate a path planning map by which a global path can be optimized. First, data included in FDB is analyzed in order to identify meaningful layers and attributes of which information can be used to generate the path planning map. Then for each of meaningful layers identified, a set of values of attributes in the layer is converted into the traverse cost using a matching table in which any combination of attribute values are matched into the corresponding traverse cost. For a certain region that is gridded, i.e., represented by a grid map, the traverse cost is extracted in a automatic manner for each gird of the region to generate the path planning map. Since multiple layers may be included in a single grid, an algorithm is developed to fusion several traverse costs. The proposed method is tested using a experimental program. Test results show that it can be a viable tool for generating the path planning map in real-time. The method can be used to generate other kinds of path planning maps using the digitalized geographic information as well.

  • HMIPv6는 노드와 라우터의 이동성으로 중첩된 형태의 이동 네트워크가 형성될 수 있다. 중첩된 이동 네트워크에서는 여러 개의 서브넷이 존재하고 또 여러 개의 이동 라우터(MR)와 이동 노드(MN)가 활동한다. 중첩의 깊이가 커지면 패킷이 경유하는 이동 라우터의 수가 증가하고, 이로 인해 데이터의 전송지연이 커질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 Mobility Anchor Point(MAP)의 바인딩 캐시 정보를 활용하여 MAP에서 목적지 이동 노드까지의 경로를 구하고, 그 경로 정보를 패킷의 헤더에 포함하여 처리하는 EPA 알고리즘을 제안한다. EPA 알고리즘을 적용하면 MAP 도메인내의 불필요한 패킷의 양을 줄일 수 있다. 또 중간 이동 라우터에서는 간단한 패킷 치환 작업만으로 패킷의 재전송을 지원할 수 있어 전송지연을 줄일 수 있다.
